San Marcos 3
1 YA jumalom talo gui sinagoga; ya guaja güije un taotao na anglo un canaeña.
On another occasion Jesus went in to a Synagogue, where there was a man whose hand was withered.
2 Ya sija maaatanja güe cao unajomlo gui sabado na jaane; para umafaaela.
And they watched Jesus closely, to see if he would cure the man on the Sabbath, so that they might have a charge to bring against him.
3 Ayo nae ilegña ni ayo na taotao y anglo un canaeña: Tojgue julo gui entalo.
“Stand out in the middle,” Jesus said to the man with the withered hand;
4 Ya ilegña nu sija: Siña tafatinas mauleg gui sabado na jaane pat taelaye? nalibre y linâlâ pat puno? Lao sija manmamatquiquiloja.
and to the people he said: “Is it allowable to do good on the Sabbath — or harm? to save a life, or destroy it?”
5 Ya anae jaatan gui oriya sija yan y linalalo, ninapinite pot y majetog corasoññija, ya ilegña nu y taotao: Estira mona y canaemo. Ya jaestira, ya y canaeña tumalo mauleg parejo yan y otro.
As they remained silent, Jesus looked round at them in anger, grieving at the hardness of their hearts, and said to the man: “Stretch out your hand.” The man stretched it out; and his hand had become sound.
6 Ayo nae manmapos y Fariseo sija, ya manaconseja yan y taotao Herodes sija, contra güiya, para umapuno.
Immediately on leaving the Synagogue, the Pharisees and the Herodians united in laying a plot against Jesus, to put him to death.
7 Lao si Jesus sumuja para y tase yan y disipuluña sija; ya madalalag un dangculon linajyan taotao guine Galilea, yan guine Judea,
Then Jesus went away with his disciples to the Sea, followed by a great number of people from Galilee.
8 Yan guine Jerusalem, yan guine Idumea, yan y otro bandan Jordan, yan guine oriyan Tiro yan Sidon, dangculo na linajyan taotao anae majungog y dangculon finatinasña sija, manmato guiya güiya.
And a great number, hearing of all that he was doing, came to him from Judea, from Jerusalem, from Edom, from beyond the Jordan, and from the country round Tyre and Sidon.
9 Ya jasangane y disipoluña sija, na un diquique na batco uninananggaja güe, pot y linajyan taotao para munga güe manachatsaga,
So Jesus told his disciples to keep a small boat close by, for fear the crowd should crush him.
10 Sa guaja megae janafanjomlo; ya pot ayo na manpodong gui jiloña, todo y mangaechetnot para umapacha,
For he had cured many of them, and so people kept crowding upon him, that all who were afflicted might touch him.
11 Ya y manáplacha sija na espiritu locue, anae malie güe, manpodong papa gui menaña, ya managang, ilegñija: Jago y Lajin Yuus.
The foul spirits, too, whenever they caught sight of him, flung themselves down before him, and screamed out: “You are the Son of God”!
12 Lao guiya jagosencatga sija, na chañija munamatutungo güe.
But he repeatedly warned them not to make him known.
13 Ya cajulo gui egso, ya jaagang guiya güiya ayo sija y malagoña, ya sija manmato guiya güiya.
And Jesus made his way up the hill, and called those whom he wished; and they went to him.
14 Ya jaayig y dose, na ufañisijaja, yan para unafanjanao ya ujafanmansetmon;
And he appointed twelve — whom he also named ‘Apostles’ — that they might be with him, and that he might send them out as his Messengers, to preach,
15 Yan ufangaeninasiña para ujayute juyong y anite sija.
and with power to drive out demons.
16 Sija si Simon, ni japolo sobrenaaña si Pedro;
So he appointed the Twelve — Peter (which was the name that Jesus gave to Simon),
17 Yan si Santiago, lajin Sebedeo, yan si Juan chelun Santiago; ni japolo sobrenaañija si Boanerges ni comoqueilegña lalajin julo.
James, the son of Zebediah, and his brother John (to whom he gave the name of Boanerges, which means the Thunderers),
18 Yan si Andres, yan si Felipe, yan si Bartolome, yan si Mateo, yan si Tomas yan si Santiago, lajin Alfeo, yan si Tadeo, yan si Simon y Cananeo;
Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,
19 Yan si Judas Iscariote ni y locue umentrega güe: ya manjalom talo gui guima.
and Judas Iscariot, the man that betrayed him.
20 Ya y linajyan taotao mandaña talo, ya pot este sija ti siña ni ufañochocho pan.
Jesus went into a house; and again a crowd collected, so that they were not able even to eat their food.
21 Ya anae majungog na familiaña sija, manmato para umaguot; sa ilegñija: Esta ti guiya güe.
When his relations heard of it, they went to take charge of him, for they said that he was out of his mind.
22 Ya y escriba sija ni manmato guine Jerusalem, ilegñija, na guaja güe as Beetsebub, ya pot y prinsipen anite na manyuyute juyong anite sija.
And the Teachers of the Law, who had come down from Jerusalem, said: “He has Baal-zebub in him, and he drives the demons out by the help of Baal-zebub, their chief.”
23 Lao güiya umagang sija, ya ilegña nu sija pot acomparasion: Jafataemano siña si Satanas jayute juyong si Satanas?
So Jesus called them to him, and answered them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?
24 Yaguin un raeno madibide contra güiyaja, ayo na raeno ti siña sumaga.
When a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot last;
25 Yaguin un guma madibide contra güiyaja, ayo na guma ti siña sumaga.
and when a household is divided against itself, it will not be able to last.
26 Yaguin si Satanas cajulo contra güiyaja, ya madibide ti siña sumaga: lao gae jinecog.
So, if Satan is in revolt against himself and is divided, he cannot last — his end has come!
27 Taya ni un taotao siña jumalom gui guima y matatnga na taotao, ya unataelaye y güinajaña sija, yaguin ti jagode finena y matatnga na taotao; ya ayo nae unataelaye y güinajaña.
“No man who has got into a strong man’s house can carry off his goods, without first securing him; and not till then will he plunder his house.
28 Magajet jusangane jamyo, na todo y isao sija ufanmaasie gui lalajin taotao sija, yan y chinatfino contra cuatquieraja sija na chinatfinue.
I tell you that men will be forgiven everything — their sins, and all the slanders that they utter;
30 Sa ilegñija, güiya guaja áplacha na espiritu.
This was said in reply to the charge that he had a foul spirit in him.
31 Ya manmato si nanaña, yan y mañeluña, ya manestaba gui sumanjiyong, manmanago na umaagang güe.
And his mother and his brothers came, and stood outside, and sent to ask him to come to them.
32 Ya y linajyan taotao estaba manmatatachong gui oriyaña; ya ilegñija nu güiya: Estagüe si nanamo yan y mañelumo gui sumanjiyong na maaliligaojao.
There was a crowd sitting round Jesus, and some of them said to him: “Look, your mother and your brothers are outside, asking for you.”
33 Ya güiya jaope sija, ilegña: Jaye nanajo yan jaye mañelujo?
“Who is my mother? and my brothers?” was his reply.
34 Ya manaatan gui oriya anae manestaba manmatatachong gui oriyaña, ya ilegña: Estagüe y nanajo, yan y mañelujo!
Then he looked around on the people sitting in a circle round him, and said: “Here are my mother and my brothers!
35 Sa jayeja y fumatinas y minalago Yuus, güiya chelujo laje, yan chelujo palaoan, yan nanajo.
Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”
