Hebreohanon 4

1 Busa, kinahanglan magmainampingon gayod kita aron walay usa kaninyo nga daw mapakyas sa pagkab-ot sa mapadayonong saad sa pagsulod sa kapahulayan sa Dios.

Let vs feare therfore lest eny of vs forsakynge the promes of entrynge into his rest shulde seme to come behinde.

2 Kay anaa na kanato ang maayong balita mahitungod sa kapahulayan sa Dios nga gimantala kanato sama sa mga Israelita, apan kana nga mensahe wala napuslan niadtong nakadungog niini kung dili kini ubanan sa pagtuo.

For vnto vs was it declared as well as vnto them. But it proffited not them that they hearde the worde because they which hearde it coupled it not with fayth.

3 Kay kita, ang mga nagatuo — kita mao ang makasulod nianang kapahulayan, sama kini sa giingon, “Ingon nga ako nanumpa sa akong kapungot, Dili sila makasulod sa akong kapahulayan.” Miingon siya niini, bisan tuod ang iyang gibuhat nga buluhaton natapos na sukad sa pagsugod sa kalibotan.

But we which have beleved do enter into his rest as contrarywyse he sayde to the other: I have sworne in my wrath they shall not enter into my rest. And that spake he verely longe after that the workes were made and the foudacio of ye worlde layde.

4 Kay miingon siya sa laing bahin mahitungod sa ikapitong adlaw, “Ang Dios mipahulay sa ikapitong adlaw gikan sa tanan niyang gibuhat.”

For he spake in a certayne place of ye seveth daye on this wyse: And god did rest ye seventh daye fro all his workes.

5 Pag-usab miingon siya, “Dili sila makasulod sa akong kapahulayan.”

And in this place agayne: They shall not come into my rest.

6 Busa, sanglit ang kapahulayan sa Dios sa gihapon gitagana alang sa pipila aron makasulod, ug sanglit daghang mga Israelita nga nakadungog sa maayong balita mahitungod sa iyang kapahulayan dili makasulod tungod sa pagkamasinupakon,

Seynge therfore it foloweth that some muste enter therinto and they to who it was fyrst preached entred not therin for vnbeleves sake.

7 ang Dios pag-usab nagtakda ug saktong adlaw, nga gitawag “Karong Adlawa.” Gipahimutang niya kining adlawa sa dihang misulti siya ngadto kang David, nga misulti kaniadto human kini unang gisulti, “Karong adlawa kung kamo maminaw sa iyang tingog, ayaw pagahia ang inyong mga kasingkasing.”

Agayne he apoynteth in David a certayne present daye after so longe a tyme sayinge as it is rehearsed: this daye if ye heare his voyce be not harde herted.

8 Kay kung si Josue mihatag pa kanila sa pahulay, ang Dios wala na unta nagsulti mahitungod sa lain pang adlaw.

For if Iosue had geven them rest then wolde he not afterwarde have spoke of another daye.

9 Busa aduna pa gihapoy usa ka Adlaw nga kapahulayan nga gitagana alang sa katawhan sa Dios.

There remayneth therfore yet a rest to ye people of God.

10 Kay siya nga makasulod sa kapahulayan sa Dios nakapahulay usab sa iyang kaugalingon gikan sa iyang mga buhat, ingon sa gibuhat sa Dios.

For he yt is is entred into his rest doth cease from his awne workes as god did from his.

11 Busa magmatinguhaon kita sa pagsulod nianang kapahulayan, aron nga walay usa nga mahulog diha sa samang pagkamasinupakon nga gibuhat nila.

Let vs study therfore to entre into that rest lest eny man faule after the same ensample in to vnbelefe.

12 Kay ang pulong sa Dios buhi ug abtik ug mas hait pa kaysa bisan unsang espada nga duhay sulab. Modulot kini bisan sa nabahing kalag gikan sa espiritu, ug mga lutahan gikan sa kinasuloran sa bukog. Makahimo kini sa pag-ila sa hunahuna sa kasingkasing ug mga tinguha.

For the worde of god is quycke and myghty in operacion and sharper then eny two edged swearde: and entreth through even vnto the dividynge asonder of the soule and the sprete and of the ioyntes and the mary: and iudgeth the thoughtes and the intentes of the herte:

13 Walay binuhat nga butang ang matago gikan sa panan-aw sa Dios. Hinuon, ang tanang butang dayag ug abli sa mga mata niadtong pagahatagan gayod sa husay.

nether is there eny creature invisible in the sight of it. For all thynges are naked and bare vnto the eyes of him of who we speake.

14 Unya adunay usa ka bantogang labawng pari nga nakalatas sa kalangitan, si Jesus ang Anak sa Dios, magmalig-on kita sa pagkupot sa atong mga gituohan.

Seynge then that we have a great hye prest whych is entred into heven (I meane Iesus the sonne of God) let vs holde oure profession.

15 Kay wala kitay labawng pari nga dili makabati ug kalooy sa atong mga kaluyahon, apan usa nga sa tanang mga paagi gitintal sama kanato, gawas lamang nga wala siyay sala.

For we have not an hye prest which can not have compassion on oure infirmities: but was in all poyntes tempted lyke as we are: but yet with out synne.

16 Busa moduol kita uban ang pagsalig didto sa trono sa grasya, nga makadawat kita sa kalooy ug makakaplag sa grasya nga makatabang sa takna sa pagkinahanglan.

Let vs therfore goo boldely vnto the seate of grace that we maye receave mercy and fynde grace to helpe in tyme of nede.
