Лука 12
1 Между това, като се събра едно многохилядно множество, дотолкова, че един други се тъпчеха, Той почна да говори на учениците Си: Преди всичко пазете се от фарисейския квас, който е лицемерие.
MEANTIME myriads of people collecting, so that they trod on one another, he began to speak to his disciples, Take heed principally of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 Няма нищо покрито, което не ще се открие, и тайно, което не ще се узнае.
For there is nothing concealed, that shall not be laid open; nor hid, which shall not be known.
3 Затова, каквото сте говорили на тъмно, ще се чуе на видело; и каквото сте казали на ухо във вътрешните стаи, ще се разгласи от покрива.
Wherefore whatsoever things ye have spoken in darkness, they shall be reported in the light; and what ye have whispered into the ear in the closets, shall be proclaimed on the house-tops.
4 А на вас, Моите приятели, казвам: Не бойте се от тия, които убиват тялото, и след това не могат нищо повече да сторят.
But I say to you my friends, Be not afraid of those who may kill the body, but after that, have nothing farther which they can do.
5 Но ще ви предупредя от кого да се боите: Бойте се от онзи, който, след като е убил, има власт да хвърля в пъкъла. Да! Казвам ви, от него да се боите. (Geenna g1067)
But I will point out to you, whom ye should fear: Fear him, who, after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him! (Geenna g1067)
6 Не продават ли се пет врабчета за два асария? И ни едно от тях не е забравено пред Бога.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, yet not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 Но вам и космите на главата са всички преброени. Не бойте се; вие сте много по-скъпи от врабчетата.
But even the hairs of your head are all numbered: fear not then, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8 И казвам ви: Всеки, който изповяда Мене пред човеците, ще го изповяда и Човешкият Син пред Божиите ангели;
But I tell you, Every one who shall confess me before men, him will the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9 но ако се отрече някой от Мене пред човеците, ще бъде отречен пред Божиите ангели.
but he that disowns me before men, shall be disowned before the angels of God.
10 И всекиму, който би казал дума против Човешкия Син, ще му се прости; но ако някой похули Святия Дух, няма да му се прости.
And every one who shall utter a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but for him who hath blasphemed against the Holy Ghost, there shall be no forgiveness.
11 И когато ви заведат в синагогите и пред началствата и властите, не се безпокойте как или какво ще отговорите, или какво ще кажете.
And when they shall bring you before the synagogues, and magistrates, and the ruling powers, be under no anxiety how or what defence ye shall make, or what ye shall say:
12 Защото Святият Дух ще ви научи в същия час, какво трябва да кажете.
for the Holy Ghost will teach you at that very hour what ye ought to say.
13 И някой си от множеството Му рече: Учителю, кажи на брат ми да раздели с мене наследството.
Then spake one of the multitude to him, Master, order my brother to divide the inheritance with me.
14 А Той му каза: Човече, кой Ме е поставил съдия или делач над вас?
But he said to him, Man, who made me a judge and a divider among you?
15 И каза им: Внимавайте и пазете се от всяко користолюбие; защото животът на човека не се състои в изобилието на имота му.
Then said he to them, Beware, and be on your guard against covetousness; for a man’s life doth not depend on the abundance of his possessions.
16 И каза им притча, като рече: Нивите на един богаташ родиха много плод.
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The estate of a certain rich man bore plentifully:
17 И той размишляваше в себе си, думайки: Какво да правя, защото нямам где да събера плодовете си.
and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do? for I have not room where I may house my crops.
18 И рече: Ето какво ще направя: Ще съборя житниците си, и ще построя по-големи, и там ще събера всичките си жита и благата си.
And he said, I will do this; I will take down my barns, and build them larger, and collect there all my crops, and my good things!
19 И ще река на душата си: Душо, имаш много бла г ' а, натрупани за много години; успокой се, яж, пий, весели се.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast a multitude of good things in store for many years, be at ease, eat, drink, and be merry!
20 А Бог му рече: Глупецо! Тая нощ ще ти изискат душата; а това, което си приготвил, чие ще бъде?
But God said to him, Thou fool! this night shall they demand thy life from thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be?
21 Така става с този, който събира имот за себе си, и не богатее в Бога.
Just such is every one who heapeth up treasure for self, and is not rich towards God.
22 Рече още на учениците Си: Затова ви казвам, не се безпокойте за живота си, какво ще ядете, нито за тялото си, какво ще облечете.
Then said he to his disciples, For this reason I tell you, Be under no anxiety about your life, what ye shall eat, nor for your body, how ye shall be clothed.
23 Защото животът е повече от храната, и тялото от облеклото.
The life is more than food, and the body than raiment.
24 Разгледайте враните, че не сеят, нито жънат; те нямат нито скривалище, нито житница, но пак Бог ги храни. Колко по-скъпи сте вие от птиците!
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn; yet God feedeth them: how much are ye more excellent than the birds?
25 И кой от вас може с грижене да прибави един лакът на ръста си?
Which of you, with all his anxiety, can add one moment to his life?
26 И тъй, ако и най-малкото нещо не можете стори, защо се безпокоите за друго?
If therefore ye are unable to do the least thing, why are ye anxious about the others?
27 Разгледайте кремовете как растат; не се трудят, нито предат; но казвам ви, нито Соломон във всичката си слава не се е обличал както един от тях.
Observe the lillies how they grow up, they toil not, nor spin; but I tell you, that Solomon in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these.
28 И ако Бог така облича полската трева, която днес я има, а утре я хвърлят в пещ, колко повече ще облича вас, маловери!
If God then so clothe the grass in the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is thrown into the furnace; how much more you, O ye of little faith?
29 И тъй, не търсете какво да ядете и какво да пиете, и не се съмнявайте;
So then be not ye inquisitive what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor be agitated with restless anxiety.
30 защото всичко това търсят народите на света; а Отец ви знае, че се нуждаете от това.
For after all these things are the nations of the world seeking; and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 Но търсете [Божието] царство и [всичко] това ще ви се прибави.
But seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be given you over.
32 Не бой се, малко стадо, защото Отец ви благоволи да ви даде царството.
Fear not, little flock! for your Father takes delight in giving you the kingdom.
33 Продайте имота си и давайте милостиня; направете си кесии, които не овехтяват, неизчерпаемо съкровище на небесата, гдето крадец не се приближава, нито молец изяжда.
Sell all your possessions, and give in charity; make yourselves purses that wax not old, a treasure never failing in the heavens, where no thief approaches, nor doth the moth destroy.
34 Защото гдето е съкровището ви, там ще бъде и сърцето ви.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35 Кръстът ви да бъде препасан и светилниците ви запалени;
Let your loins be firmly girded round, and your lamps burning:
36 и сами вие да приличате на човеци, които чакат господаря си, когато се върне от сватба, за да му отворят незабавно, щом дойде и похлопа.
and ye like men, expecting their master, when he shall return from the marriage; that when he comes and knocks, they may instantly open the door for him.
37 Блажени ония слуги, чийто господар ги намери будни, когато си дойде; истина ви казвам, че той ще се препаше, ще ги накара да седнат на трапезата и ще дойде да им прислужи.
Blessed are those servants, whom the Master, when he cometh, shall find watchful: verily I say unto you, that he will gird up himself, and make them sit down at table, and come and wait upon them.
38 И ако дойде на втора стража, или на трета стража, и ги намери така, блажени са ония слуги.
And if he come in the second watch, or in the third watch, and find them so watchful, blessed are those servants.
39 Но това да знаете, че ако домакинът беше знаел в кой час щеше да дойде крадецът, бдял би и не би оставил да му подкопаят къщата.
Now this be assured of, that if the master of the family had known at what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40 Бъдете, прочее, и вие готови; защото в час, когато Го не мислите, Човешкият Син ще дойде.
Therefore be ye also ready, for at an hour that ye think not of, the Son of man cometh.
41 Тогава Петър каза: Господи, само на нас ли казваш тая притча, или и на всичките?
Then said Peter unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable to us, or also for all?
42 Господ каза: Кой е, прочее, онзи верен и благоразумен настойник, когото господаря му ще постави над домочадието си, да им дава на време определената храна?
And the Lord said, Who indeed is a faithful steward, and prudent, whom the lord will place over his household, to give them their proportion of provision at the proper season?
43 Блажен онзи слуга, чийто господар, когато си дойде, го намери, че прави така.
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so employed.
44 Истина ви казвам, че ще го постави над целия си имот.
Verily I say unto you, that he will place him over all his property.
45 Но ако онзи слуга рече в сърцето си: Господарят ми се забави, и почне да бие момчетата и момичетата, да яде, да пие и да се опива,
But if that servant say in his heart, My master will be a long while ere he comes; and shall begin to beat the men and maid-servants, and to eat and to drink, and to get drunk;
46 то господарят на онзи слуга ще дойде в ден, когато той не го очаква и в час, който не знае, и, като го бие тежко, ще определи неговата участ с неверните.
the master of that servant will come in a day when he doth not expect him, and at an hour which he knoweth not, and shall cut him asunder, and give him his portion with the unfaithful.
47 И онзи слуга, като е знаел волята на господаря си, но не е приготвил, нито постъпил по волята му, ще бъде много бит.
And that servant, who knew his master’s will, and made no preparation for him, nor did according to his pleasure, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 А онзи, който не е знаел и е сторил нещо, което заслужава бой, малко ще бъде бит. И от всеки, комуто много е дадено, много и ще се изисква; и комуто са много поверили, от него повече ще изискват.
But he that knew it not, yet did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For of every one to whom much is given, much shall be required from him: and to whom men commit much, they will of him demand abundantly more.
49 Огън дойдох да хвърля на земята; и какво повече да искам, ако се е вече запалил?
I am come to cast fire on the earth, and what is my wish? that it may be now kindled.
50 Но имам кръщение, с което трябва да се кръстя; и колко се утеснявам докле се извърши!
But I have a baptism to be baptised with; and how am I distressed in spirit till it is finished!
51 Мислите ли, че съм дошъл да дам мир на земята? Не, казвам ви, но по-скоро раздяла.
Think ye that I came to bring peace upon earth? No, I tell you; but rather division:
52 Защото отсега нататък петима в една къща ще бъдат разделени, трима против двама и двама против трима.
for henceforth five shall be in one house, divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 Ще се разделят баща против син и син против баща; майка против дъщеря и дъщеря против майка; свекърва против снаха си и снаха против свекърва си.
The father shall take part against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the step-mother against her daughter-in-law, and the son’s wife against her mother-in-law.
54 Казваше още на народа: Когато видите облак да се издига от запад, веднага казвате: Дъжд ще вали, и така става.
Then said he to the multitudes, When ye see a cloud rising from the west, ye say immediately, There cometh a shower; and it is so.
55 И когато духа южен вятър казвате: Ще стане жега, и става.
And when the south wind gently blows, ye say, It will be sultry hot; and so it is.
56 Лицемери! Лицето на земята и на небето знаете да разтълкувате, а това време как не знаете да разтълкувате?
Ye hypocrites! ye know how to discern by experience from the appearance of the earth and of the sky; but how is it that ye do not discern this particular time?
57 А защо и от само себе си не съдите що е право?
And why even of yourselves do ye not decide what is just?
58 Защото, когато отиваш с противника си да се я явиш пред управителя, постарай се по пътя да се отървеш от него, да не би да те завлече при съдията и съдията да те предаде на служителя, и служителят да те хвърли в тъмница.
For as thou art going with thy prosecutor to the magistrate, on the way endeavour to make up the matter with him; lest he drag thee before the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
59 Казвам ти, никак няма да излезеш от там, докле не изплатиш и най-последното петаче.
I tell thee, thou mayest in no wise come out from thence, until thou hast paid the very last mite.
