إرْمِيا 12

١ 1 أَنْتَ دَائِماً عَادِلٌ حِينَ أَعْرِضُ عَلَيْكَ دَعْوَايَ، وَلَكِنْ دَعْنِي أُحَدِّثُكَ بِشَأْنِ أَحْكَامِكَ: لِمَاذَا تُفْلِحُ طَرِيقُ الأَشْرَارِ؟ وَلِمَاذَا يَتَمَتَّعُ الْغَادِرُونَ بِالْعَيْشِ الرَّغِيدِ؟

righteous you(m. s.) LORD for to contend to(wards) you surely justice: judgement to speak: speak with you why? way: journey wicked to prosper to prosper all to act treacherously treachery

٢ 2 أَنْتَ غَرَسْتَهُمْ فَتَأَصَّلُوا وَنَمَوْا وَأَثْمَرُوا. اسْمُكَ يَتَرَدَّدُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُ بَعِيدٌ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ.

to plant them also to uproot to go: continue also to make fruit near you(m. s.) in/on/with lip their and distant from kidney their

٣ 3 أَنْتَ قَدْ عَرَفْتَنِي وَرَأَيْتَنِي وَامْتَحَنْتَ قَلْبِي مِنْ نَحْوِكَ. افْرِزْهُمْ كَغَنَمٍ لِلذَّبْحِ وَاعْزِلْهُمْ لِيَوْمِ النَّحْرِ.

and you(m. s.) LORD to know me to see: see me and to test heart my with you to tear them like/as flock to/for slaughtered and to consecrate: prepare them to/for day slaughter

٤ 4 إِلَى مَتَى تَظَلُّ الأَرْضُ نَائِحَةً وَعُشْبُ كُلِّ حَقْلٍ ذَاوِياً؟ هَلَكَتِ الْبَهَائِمُ والطُّيُورُ مِنْ شَرِّ السَّاكِنِينَ فِيهَا الْقَائِلِينَ: «إِنَّهُ لَنْ يَرَى خَاتِمَةَ مَصِيرِنَا».

till how to mourn [the] land: country/planet and vegetation all [the] land: country to wither from distress: evil to dwell in/on/with her to snatch animal and bird for to say not to see: see [obj] end our

٥ 5 «إِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ بَارَيْتَ الْمُشَاةَ فَأَعْيَوْكَ، فَكَيْفَ إِذاً تُبَارِي الْخَيْلَ؟ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَتَعَثَّرُ فِي أَرْضٍ مُطْمَئِنَّةٍ، فَكَيْفَ تَفْعَلُ فِي أَجَمَاتِ نَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ؟

for with on foot to run: run and be weary you and how? to contend with [the] horse and in/on/with land: country/planet peace: well-being you(m. s.) to trust and how? to make: do in/on/with pride [the] Jordan

٦ 6 حَتَّى إِخْوَتُكَ وَأَفْرَادُ أُسْرَتِكَ قَدْ تَنَكَّرُوا لَكَ، وَدَعَوْا عَلَيْكَ وَرَاءَكَ بِمِلْءِ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ. لاَ تَأْتَمِنْهُمْ، وَإِنْ خَاطَبُوكَ بِأَلْفَاظٍ مَعْسُولَةٍ.

for also brother: male-sibling your and house: household father your also they(masc.) to act treacherously in/on/with you also they(masc.) to call: call out after you full not be faithful in/on/with them for to speak: speak to(wards) you welfare

٧ 7 قَدْ نَبَذْتُ هَيْكَلِي وَهَجَرْتُ مِيرَاثِي، وَسَلَّمْتُ حَبِيبَةَ نَفْسِي إِلَى أَيْدِي أَعْدَائِهَا.

to leave: forsake [obj] house: temple my to leave [obj] inheritance my to give: give [obj] beloved soul my in/on/with palm enemy her

٨ 8 قَدْ زَمْجَرَ عَلَيَّ شَعْبِي كَأَسَدٍ فِي غَابَةٍ. رَفَعَ عَلَيَّ صَوْتَهُ، لِهَذَا مَقَتُّهُ.

to be to/for me inheritance my like/as lion in/on/with wood to give: cry out upon me in/on/with voice her upon so to hate her

٩ 9 هَلْ صَارَ شَعْبِي لِي كَطَيْرٍ جَارِحٍ مُنْقَضٍّ؟ وَهَلْ تَجَمَّعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْجَوَارِحُ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ؟ هَلُمَّ احْشُدْ جَمِيعَ وُحُوشِ الْبَرِّ، وَادْعُهَا لِلأَكْلِ.

١٠ 10 قَدْ أَتْلَفَ رُعَاةٌ كَثِيرُونَ كَرْمِي، وَدَاسُوا نَصِيبِي الشَّهِيَّ وَجَعَلُوهُ بَرِّيَّةً جَرْدَاءَ.

to pasture many to ruin vineyard my to trample [obj] portion my to give: make [obj] portion desire my to/for wilderness devastation

١١ 11 جَعَلُوهُ خَرَاباً، وَفِي خَرَابِهِ يَنُوحُ عَلَيَّ. أَصْبَحَتِ الأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا قَفْراً، لأَنَّهُ لاَ يُوْجَدُ إِنْسَانٌ وَاحِدٌ يَحْفِلُ بِهَا.

to set: make her to/for devastated to mourn upon me devastation be desolate: destroyed all [the] land: country/planet for nothing man: anyone to set: put upon heart

١٢ 12 قَدْ أَقْبَلَ الْمُدَمِّرُونَ وَانْتَشَرُوا عَلَى جَمِيعِ الْمُرْتَفَعَاتِ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ، لأَنَّ سَيْفَ الرَّبِّ يَلْتَهِمُ مِنْ أَقْصَى الأَرْضِ إِلَى أَقْصَاهَا، فَلاَ يَنْعَمُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ بِالسَّلاَمِ.

upon all bareness in/on/with wilderness to come (in): come to ruin for sword to/for LORD to eat from end land: country/planet and till end [the] land: country/planet nothing peace to/for all flesh

١٣ 13 زَرَعَ شَعْبِي حِنْطَةً وَحَصَدَ شَوْكاً. أَعْيَوْا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَلَكِنْ مِنْ غَيْرِ جَدْوَى، لِذَلِكَ يَعْتَرِيهِمِ الْخِزْيُ مِنْ قِلَّةِ غَلاَّتِ مَحْصُولِهِمْ لِفَرْطِ احْتِدَامِ غَضَبِ الرَّبِّ».

to sow wheat and thorn to reap be weak: weak not to gain and be ashamed from produce your from burning anger face: anger LORD

١٤ 14 وَهَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ عَنْ جَمِيعِ جِيرَانِي الأَشْرَارِ الَّذِينَ يَمَسُّونَ الْمِيرَاثَ الَّذِي وَرَّثْتُهُ لِشَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: «هَا أَنَا أَقْتَلِعُهُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِهِمْ كَمَا أَقْتَلِعُ أَيْضاً شَعْبَ يَهُوذَا مِنْ وَسَطِهِمْ.

١٥ 15 وَلَكِنْ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَسْتَأْصِلَهُمْ، أَتَرأَّفُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَأُعِيدُهُمْ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ إِلَى مِيرَاثِهِ وَإِلَى أَرْضِهِ.

١٦ 16 فَإِنْ تَلَقَّنَتِ الأُمَمُ طُرُقَ شَعْبِي بِاسْمِي، قَائِلِينَ: «حَيٌّ هُوَ الرَّبُّ»، كَمَا عَلَّمُوا شَعْبِي أَنْ يَحْلِفُوا بِالْبَعْلِ، فَإِنَّهُمْ يَنْمُونَ وَسَطَ شَعْبِي.

١٧ 17 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ رَفَضَتْ أَيَّةُ أُمَّةٍ الاسْتِمَاعَ، فَإِنِّي أَسْتَأْصِلُهَا وَأَقْتَلِعُهَا وَأُدَمِّرُهَا»، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ.
