إشَعْياء 57

١ 1 هَلَكَ الصِّدِّيقُ فَلَمْ يَتَأَمَّلْ أَحَدٌ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَيَعْتَبِرْ، وَمَاتَ الأَتْقِيَاءُ وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ أَحَدٌ أَنَّ الصِّدِّيقَ قَدْ أُخِذَ تَفَادِياً لِلْكَارِثَةِ.

٢ 2 وَالسَّالِكُونَ بِالاسْتِقَامَةِ يَنْعَمُونَ بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَفِي مَضَاجِعِهِمْ يَسْتَرِيحُونَ.

٣ 3 أَمَّا أَنْتُمْ يَاأَبْنَاءَ السَّاحِرَةِ، يَانَسْلَ الْفَاسِقِ وَالْعَاهِرَةِ، فَادْنُوا مِنْ هُنَا.

٤ 4 بِمَنْ تَسْخَرُونَ؟ وَعَلَى مَنْ تَفْغَرُونَ أَشْدَاقَكُمْ وَاسِعَةً وَتَدْلَعُونَ أَلْسِنَتَكُمْ؟ أَلَسْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ أَبْنَاءَ الْخُطَاةِ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ؟

٥ 5 أَيُّهَا الْمُتَوَهِّجُونَ شَهْوَةً بَيْنَ أَشْجَارِ الْبَلُّوطِ، وَتَحْتَ كُلِّ شَجَرَةٍ خَضْرَاءَ، يَامَنْ تَذْبَحُونَ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ فِي الأَوْدِيَةِ تَحْتَ شُقُوقِ الصُّخُورِ.

٨ 8 وَخَلْفَ الْبَابِ وَقَوَائِمِهِ أَقَمْتُمْ أَصْنَامَكُمْ، وَإِذْ هَجَرْتُمُونِي كَشَفْتُمْ عَنْ مَضَاجِعِكُمْ وَعَلَوْتُمُوهَا وَوَسَّعْتُمُوهَا، وَأَبْرَمْتُمْ مَعَ أَصْنَامِكُمْ عَهْدَ زِنىً لأَنَّكُمْ أَحْبَبْتُمْ مَضَاجِعَهُمْ، وَتَأَمَّلْتُمْ فِي عُرْيِهِمْ.

٩ 9 ارْتَحَلْتُمْ إِلَى مُولَكَ مُحَمَّلِينَ بِالدُّهْنِ، وَبِكَثْرَةِ الأَطْيَابِ، وَأَرْسَلْتُمْ سُفَرَاءَكُمْ إِلَى أَرْضٍ بَعِيدَةٍ، وَانْحَدَرْتُمْ حَتَّى إِلَى الْهَاوِيَةِ. (Sheol h7585)

١٠ 10 أَصَابَكُمُ الإِعْيَاءُ مِنْ طُولِ الْمَسِيرِ، وَلَمْ تَقُولُوا: «يَئِسْنَا» بَلْ تَجَدَّدَتْ قُوَاكُمْ وَلَمْ تَخُورُوا.

١١ 11 مِمَّنْ خِفْتُمْ وَارْتَعَبْتُمْ حَتَّى كَذِبْتُمْ وَلَمْ تَذْكُرُونِي أَوْ تُفَكِّرُوا فِيَّ؟ هَلِ اعْتَصَمْتُ بِالسَّكِينَةِ زَمَناً طَوِيلاً حَتَّى لَمْ تَعُودُوا تَخَافُونَنِي؟

١٢ 12 سَأَتَحَدَّثُ عَنْ بِرِّكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهَا لَنْ تُجْدِيَكُمْ نَفْعاً.

١٣ 13 عِنْدَمَا تَسْتَغِيثُونَ، فَلْتُنْقِذْكُمْ مَجْمُوعَاتُ أَصْنَامِكُمْ! إِنَّ الرِّيحَ تَحْمِلُهَا جَمِيعاً، وَنَفْخَةٌ تَطْرَحُهَا بَعِيداً. أَمَّا مَنْ يَلُوذُ بِي فَإِنَّهُ يَرِثُ الأَرْضَ وَيَمْلِكُ جَبَلَ قُدْسِي.

١٥ 15 لأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا يَقُولُ الْعَلِيُّ السَّامِي، الْمُقِيمُ فِي الأَبَدِ، الَّذِي يُدْعَى اسْمُهُ الْقُدُّوسَ: إِنَّنِي أَسْكُنُ فِي الْعُلَى وَفِي الْمَوْضِعِ الْمُقَدَّسِ، وَأُقِيمُ مَعَ الْمُنْسَحِقِ، وَذَوِي الرُّوحِ الْمُتَوَاضِعَةِ، لأُحْيِيَ أَرْوَاحَ الْمُتَوَاضِعِينَ، وَأُنْعِشَ قُلُوبَ الْمُنْسَحِقِينَ.

١٦ 16 لأَنَّنِي لاَ أُخَاصِمُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَلاَ أَظَلُّ عَلَى الدَّوَامِ غَاضِباً، لِئَلاَّ تَبِيدَ أَمَامِي رُوحُ الإِنْسَانِ الَّتِي خَلَقْتُهَا.

١٧ 17 قَدْ غَضِبْتُ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ جَشَعِهِ، وَعَاقَبْتُهُ وَحَجَبْتُ عَنْهُ وَجْهِي سَخَطاً، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَوْغَلَ فِي عِصْيَانِهِ وَرَاءَ غِوَايَةِ قَلْبِهِ.

٢٠ 20 أَمَّا الأَشْرَارُ فَهُمْ كَالْبَحْرِ الْهَائِجِ الَّذِي لاَ يَهْدَأُ، تَقْذِفُ مِيَاهُهُ الْقَذَرَ وَالطِّينَ
