I saw, and behold, the fruitful field was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of the LORD, before his fierce anger.

फिर मैं क्या देखता हूँ कि यहोवा के प्रताप और उस भड़के हुए प्रकोप के कारण उपजाऊ देश जंगल, और उसके सारे नगर खण्डहर हो गए थे।
मैंने देखा, और यह पाया कि फलदायी देश अब निर्जन प्रदेश हो चुका था; तथा इस देश के सारे नगर याहवेह तथा उनके उग्र कोप के समक्ष ध्वस्त हो चुके थे.

Tanah subur menjadi gurun kering, kota-kota hancur berpuing-puing, karena TUHAN sangat marah kepada umat-Nya.
Aku melihat, ternyata tanah subur sudah menjadi padang gurun, dan segala kotanya sudah runtuh di hadapan TUHAN, di hadapan murka-Nya yang menyala-nyala!
