ինքն ու իր ծառաները գիշերով հարուածեցին նրանց, քշեցին մինչեւ Քոբաղ, որ Դամասկոսի ձախ կողմում է գտնւում:
পাছত ৰাতি তেওঁ নিজৰ লোকসকলক কিছুমান দলত বিভক্ত কৰি শত্রুবোৰক আঘাত কৰিলে আৰু দম্মেচকৰ উত্তৰে অৱস্থিত হোবা পর্যন্ত তেওঁলোকক খেদি পঠিয়ালে।

পরে রাতে নিজের দাসদেরকে দুই দলে ভাগ করে তিনি শত্রুদেরকে আঘাত করলেন এবং দম্মেশকের উত্তরে অবস্থিত হোবা পর্যন্ত তাড়িয়ে দিলেন
রাতের বেলায় তাঁদের আক্রমণ করে ছত্রভঙ্গ করে দেওয়ার জন্য অব্রাম তাঁর লোকজনকে কয়েকটি ভাগে বিভক্ত করে দিলেন, ও দামাস্কাসের উত্তরে অবস্থিত হোবা পর্যন্ত তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করলেন।

और अपने दासों के अलग-अलग दल बाँधकर रात को उन पर चढ़ाई करके उनको मार लिया और होबा तक, जो दमिश्क की उत्तर की ओर है, उनका पीछा किया।
रात्रि में अब्राम ने अपने लोगों को उनके ऊपर हमला करने के लिये बांट दिया और अब्राम तथा उनके सेवकों ने उन्हें पराजित कर दिया तथा दमेशेक के उत्तर में स्थित होबाह नगर तक उनका पीछा किया.
