I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a chasing after wind.

সূর্যৰ তলত যি যি কৰা হয়, সেই সকলোকে মই চালোঁ; দেখিলোঁ, এই সকলো অসাৰ আৰু কেৱল বতাহক ধৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰাৰ নিচিনা।

സൂൎയ്യന്നു കീഴെ നടക്കുന്ന സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; അവയൊക്കെയും മായയും വൃഥാപ്രയത്നവും അത്രേ.
സൂര്യനുകീഴിൽ നിറവേറ്റപ്പെടുന്ന എല്ലാം ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്; അവയെല്ലാം അർഥശൂന്യമാണ്; കാറ്റിനുപിന്നാലെയുള്ള ഓട്ടമാണ്.
