On the Sabbath day we went outside of the city by a riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.

Շաբաթ օրը դուրս ելանք քաղաքէն՝ գետեզերքը, ուր սովորութիւն ունէին աղօթելու. նստանք եւ խօսեցանք համախմբուած կիներուն:

আর বিশ্রামবারে শহরের প্রধান দরজার বাইরে নদীতীরে গেলাম, মনে করলাম সেখানে প্রার্থনার জায়গা আছে; আমরা সেখানে বসে একদল স্ত্রীলোক যারা এসেছিল তাদের সঙ্গে কথা বললাম।
বিশ্রামদিনে আমরা নগরদ্বারের বাইরে নদীতীরে গেলাম। সেখানে প্রার্থনা করার কোনও উপযুক্ত স্থান পাওয়া যাবে বলে আশা করেছিলাম। আমরা সেখানে বসে পড়লাম ও সমবেত মহিলাদের সঙ্গে কথা বললাম।

सब्ते दे रोजे असां शेहरे दे फाटके बाहर खड्डा बखे ऐ सोची करी गे कि ओथु यहूदियों दी प्राथना करणे दी जगा होणी, कने बेईकरी उना जनानिया ने गल्लां करणा लग्गे, जड़ियां ओथु गठुइयां थियां।

U dan subotni iziđosmo izvan gradskih vrata k rijeci, gdje smo mislili da će biti bogomolja. Sjedosmo i stadosmo govoriti okupljenim ženama.

Protože ve městě nebyla synagoga, vyšli jsme v sobotu za bránu na břeh řeky. Předpokládali jsme totiž, že by se tam mohli scházet místní židé a bohabojní pohané k modlitbám. Byla tam opravdu skupina žen, a tak jsme se posadili a mluvili k nim.
