to fulfill the LORD’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. As long as it lay desolate, it kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

| لِإِكْمَالِ كَلَامِ ٱلرَّبِّ بِفَمِ إِرْمِيَا، حَتَّى ٱسْتَوْفَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ سُبُوتَهَا، لِأَنَّهَا سَبَتَتْ فِي كُلِّ أَيَّامِ خَرَابِهَا لِإِكْمَالِ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةً. |
| وَذَلِكَ لِكَيْ يَتِمَّ كَلاَمُ الرَّبِّ الَّذِي نَطَقَ بِهِ عَلَى لِسَانِ إِرْمِيَا، حَتَّى تَسْتَوْفِيَ الأَرْضُ سُبُوتَهَا، إِذْ أَنَّهَا بَقِيَتْ مِنْ غَيْرِ إِنْتَاجٍ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ خَرَابِهَا حَتَّى انْقِضَاءِ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةً. |

[Moses had said that every seventh year the people must not plant their fields; they must allow the soil to rest. But the people had not done that. So after the army of Babylonia destroyed Judah, ] the soil was allowed to rest. That continued for 70 years, fulfilling what Yahweh told Jeremiah and what Jeremiah had predicted/prophesied would happen.
This happened to fulfill the word of Yahweh by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land should have enjoyed its Sabbath rests. It observed its Sabbath for as long as it lay abandoned, in order to pass seventy years in this way.

Also wurde das Wort des HERRN durch den Mund Jeremias erfüllt: Bis das Land seine Sabbate gefeiert hat, soll es ruhen, solange die Verwüstung währt, bis siebzig Jahre vollendet sind!

આ રીતે યર્મિયાના મુખથી બોલાયેલું ઈશ્વરનું વચન પૂરું થાય માટે દેશે પોતાના સાબ્બાથો ભોગવ્યા ત્યાં સુધી એટલે કે સિત્તેર વર્ષ સુધી દેશ ઉજ્જડ રહ્યો, તેટલાં સમય સુધી દેશે વિશ્રામ પાળ્યો!

यह सब इसलिए हुआ कि यहोवा का जो वचन यिर्मयाह के मुँह से निकला था, वह पूरा हो, कि देश अपने विश्रामकालों में सुख भोगता रहे। इसलिए जब तक वह सूना पड़ा रहा तब तक अर्थात् सत्तर वर्ष के पूरे होने तक उसको विश्राम मिला।
यह भविष्यद्वक्ता येरेमियाह द्वारा की गई याहवेह की भविष्यवाणी पूरी हुई थी, कि भूमि उन सत्तर सालों का शब्बाथ प्राप्त कर सके, जिनसे इसे दूर रखा गया था.

ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರಿತು; ದೇಶವು ತನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತಷ್ಟೇ. ದೇಶವು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಅದು ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿತು.
