હવે તું જઈને અમાલેકને તથા તેઓનું જે કંઈ હોય તેનો પૂરેપૂરો નાશ કર. તેમના પર દયા કરીશ નહિ, પણ પુરુષ તથા સ્ત્રી, મોટાં અને નાનાં બાળકો, બળદ અને ઘેટાં, ઊંટ અને ગધેડાં, એ સર્વને મારી નાખ.’”
