Псалми 23

1 Псалом Давидів.

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 на пасови́ськах зелених осе́лить мене́, на тихую воду мене запрова́дить!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 Він душу мою відживля́є, прова́дить мене́ ради Йме́ння Свого́ по стежка́х справедливости.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Коли я піду́ хоча б навіть долиною смертної те́мряви, то не буду боятися злого, бо Ти при мені, — Твоє же́зло й Твій по́сох — вони мене вті́шать!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Ти передо мною трапе́зу згото́вив при моїх ворогах, мою го́лову Ти намасти́в був оливою, моя чаша — то на́дмір пиття́!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Ті́льки добро́ й милосердя мене супрово́дити будуть по всі дні мого життя, а я пробува́тиму в домі Господньому довгі часи́!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
