Псалтирь 29

1 Принесите Господеви, сынове Божии, принесите Господеви сыны овни, принесите Господеви славу и честь:

A Psalm of David. Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

2 принесите Господеви славу имени Его: поклонитеся Господеви во дворе святем Его.

Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

3 Глас Господень на водах, Бог славы возгреме, Господь на водах многих.

The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, — Jehovah upon great waters.

4 Глас Господень в крепости, глас Господень в великолепии.

The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

5 Глас Господа, сокрушающаго кедры: и стрыет Господь кедры Ливанския,

The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:

6 и истнит я яко телца Ливанска: и возлюбленный яко сын единорожь.

And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.

7 Глас Господа, пресецающаго пламень огня.

The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.

8 Глас Господа, стрясающаго пустыню: и стрясет Господь пустыню Каддийскую.

The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 Глас Господень, свершающий елени, и открыет дубравы: и в храме Его всякий глаголет славу.

The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

10 Господь потоп населяет, и сядет Господь царь в век.

Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

11 Господь крепость людем Своим даст, Господь благословит люди Своя миром.

Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
