Dud'uit Fefeu' a 22
1 Nda doo' sa ma, Lamatualain sob'a Abraham, nae mete ana rena Eni, do hoko'. De Lamatualain no'e e nae, “Abraham!” Abraham nataa nae, “Ia, Lamatualain.”
It happened after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham, Abraham." He said, "Here I am."
2 Lamatualain denu e nae, “Rena malolole! Ha'i mala ana mone ise ma, fo ho sue' a. Mendi e nisi' rae Moria, fo tao e dad'i tutunu-hohotu' fee Au. Losa naa, dei fo Au fe'e utud'u ho mamana' sia lete' sa.”
He said, "Now take your son, your only one, whom you love, even Isaac, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of."
3 Mbila fefetu anan ma, Abraham tati hau ai. Ana futu hau naa ra, de fua neu banda keledei. Boe ma, ana no Isak ma ate nara rua, lao risi' mamana' fo Lamatualain nafad'e basa neu e.
Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. He split the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went to the place of which God had told him.
4 Ara lao-lao', boe ma finiesa na ma, Abraham nita mamana' naa mia dod'oo'.
On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place far off.

Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go over there, and we will worship, and come back to you."

Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. They both went together.
7 Isak no'e ama na nae, “Ama'!” Abraham nataa nae, “Ta'o bee, Isak?” Ana natane nae, “Ama'. Hita tae tunu tutunu-hohotu'. Hau sia ena, ma ai o sia boe. Te bib'i lombo ana' fo dad'i tutunu-hohotu' a sia bee?”
Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, "My father?" He said, "Here I am, my son." He said, "Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?"
8 Abraham nataa nae, “Ana ngge! Dei fo Lamatualain mana fee nggita bib'i lombo ana' dad'i tutunu-hohotu'.” De ru'a se lao rakandoo.
Abraham said, "God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." So they both went together.
9 Ara losa mamana' fo Lamatualain nafad'e basa' a ma, Abraham lutu mbatu mei tutunu-hohotu' a. Basa ma, ana na'alalangga hau ai neu ata'. De ana pa'a ana na, ma na'alelengga' e neu hau ai ra ata.
They came to the place which God had told him of. Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood, and bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar, on top of the wood.
10 Boe ma ha'i nala dombe nae mbau nisa ana na.
Abraham reached out his hand, and took the knife to kill his son.
11 Te aiboi' ma, LAMATUALAIN ate na mia sorga nameli mia lalai nae, “We! Bram! Helafi' dei!” Ana nataa nae, “Ta'o bee?”
But an angel of God called to him out of the sky, and said, "Abraham, Abraham." And he said, "Here I am."
12 Boe ma hara' naa nae, “Afi' tao misa ana' naa! Afi' tao saa-saa neu e boe! Ia naa, Au bub'ulu' teb'e-teb'e' ho tungga Au hihii Ngga, huu ho nau fee ana mone ise ma, fo dad'i tutunu-hohotu neu Lamatualain.”
He said, "Do not lay your hand on the boy, neither do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only one, from me."
13 Basa ma, Abraham nita bib'i lombo mone' esa sura na kad'o' sia hau ana' ra nggangge nara. Ana neu ha'i bib'i lombo naa, de tunu dad'i tutunu-hohotu' soa' neu Lamatualain, nggati ana na.
And Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up as a burnt offering instead of his son.
14 Naa de, Abraham bab'ae mamana' naa Yahova Yire, sosoa na ‘Dei fo, Lamatualain fee saa fo parlu' a.’ Losa ia, atahori o ola' rae, “Sia LAMATUALAIN lete na ata, dei fo Ana fee saa fo parlu' a.”
Abraham called the name of that place Elohim Yireh. As it is said to this day, "On the mountain, God will provide."
15 Basa ma Lamatualain ate Na nameli mia lalai nae,
The angel of God called to Abraham a second time out of the sky,
16 “LAMATUALAIN nafad'e ao Na nae, ‘Au sumba endi' nara ngga, ta'o ia: Ho nau fee ana mone ise ma neu Au, fo dad'i tutunu-hohotu'. Naa de,
and said, "I have sworn by myself," says the LORD, "because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only one, from me,
17 Au fee papala-bab'anggi' nae na seli neu nggo ma tititi-nonosi mara. Dei fo ara boe ramahefu-ramabela losa atahori nda reken rala se sa, ona' nduu' sia lalai, ma sara'ae' sia tasi suu na. Dei fo umbu-ana mara o rakala' musu nara boe.
I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply your offspring like the stars of the sky, and like the sand which is on the seashore; and your offspring will possess the gate of their enemies.
18 Mia tititi-nonosi mara, basa leo mana sia raefafo' ia hambu papala-bab'anggi', huu ho tungga parenda Ngga ena.’”
And through your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice."
19 Basa ma, Abraham no Isak onda bali' risi' ate ka rua' ra, de bali' Beer Syeba reu. Boe ma, Abraham se leo sia naa.
So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba. Abraham lived at Beersheba.
20 Lao esa, Abraham rena oi od'i na Nahor sao na Milka b'onggi ana nara ena.
It happened after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, "Look, Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:

Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother.

His secondary wife, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.
