Zacarias 7
1 Aconteceu pois, no ano quarto do rei Dario, que a palavra do Senhor veio a Zacarias, no dia quarto do nono mes, que é chisleu.
And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came to Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
2 Quando foram enviados à casa de Deus, Saresar, e Regemmelech, e os homens dele, para suplicarem o rosto do Senhor,
When they had sent to the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,
3 Dizendo aos sacerdotes, que estavam na casa do Senhor dos exércitos, e aos profetas: Chorarei eu no quinto mes, separando-me, como o tenho feito por tantos anos?
And to speak to the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?
4 Então a palavra do Senhor dos exércitos veio a mim, dizendo:
Then came the word of the LORD of hosts to me, saying,
5 Fala a todo o povo desta terra, o aos sacerdotes, dizendo: Quando jejuastes, e pranteastes, no quinto e no sétimo mes, a saber, estes setenta anos, porventura, jejuando, jejuastes para mim, para mim, digo?
Speak to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did you at all fast to me, even to me?
6 Ou quando comestes, e quando bebestes, não fostes vós os que comieis e vós os que bebieis?
And when you did eat, and when you did drink, did not you eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
7 Não são estas as palavras que o Senhor pregou pelo ministério dos profetas primeiros, quando Jerusalém estava habitada e quieta, com as suas cidades ao redor dela? e o sul e a campina eram habitados?
Should you not hear the words which the LORD has cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
8 E a palavra do Senhor veio a Zacarias, dizendo:
And the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
9 Assim falou o Senhor dos exércitos, dizendo: julgai juízo verdadeiro, executai piedade e misericórdias cada um com seu irmão;
Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 E não oprimais a viúva, nem o órfão, nem o estrangeiro, nem o pobre, nem intente o mal cada um contra o seu irmão no seu coração.
And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
11 Porém não quizeram escutar, e me deram o ombro rebelde, e ensurdeceram os seus ouvidos, para que não ouvissem.
But they refused to listen, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
12 E fizeram o seu coração como diamante, para que não ouvissem a lei, nem as palavras que o Senhor dos exércitos enviava pelo seu espírito pelo ministério dos profetas primeiros: de onde veio a grande ira do Senhor dos exércitos.
Yes, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts has sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
13 E aconteceu que, como ele clamou, e eles não ouviram, assim também eles clamaram, mas eu não ouvi, diz o Senhor dos exércitos.
Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, says the LORD of hosts:
14 E os espalhei com tempestade entre todas as nações, que eles não conheciam, e a terra foi assolada atráz deles, de sorte que ninguém passava por ela, nem se tornava: porque tem feito da terra desejada uma desolação.
But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
