Neemias 3

1 E levantou-se Eliasib, o sumo sacerdote, com os seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e edificaram a porta do gado, a qual consagraram; e levantaram as suas portas: e até a torre de Meah consagraram, e até a torre de Hananel.

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even to the tower of Meah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananeel.

2 E junto a ele edificaram os homens de Jericó: também ao seu lado edificou Zaccur, filho de Imri.

And next to him built the men of Jericho. And next to them built Zaccur the son of Imri.

3 E a porta do peixe edificaram os filhos de Senaa; a qual emadeiraram, e levantaram as suas portas com as suas fechaduras e os seus ferrolhos.

But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

4 E ao seu lado reparou Meremoth, filho de Urias, o filho de Kós; e ao seu lado reparou Mesullam, filho de Berechias, o filho de Mesezabel; e ao seu lado reparou Zadok, filho de Baana.

And next to them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next to them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next to them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

5 E ao seu lado repararam os tekoitas: porém os seus ilustres não meteram o seu pescoço ao serviço de seu senhor.

And next to them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their LORD.

6 E a porta velha repararam-na Joiada, filho de Paseah, e Mesullam, filho de Besodias: estes a emadeiraram, e levantaram as suas portas com as suas fechaduras e os seus ferrolhos.

Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

7 E ao seu lado repararam Melatias, o gibeonita, e Jadon, meronothita, homens de Gibeon e Mispah, até ao assento do governador de aquém do rio.

And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor on this side the river.

8 Ao seu lado reparou Uziel, filho de Harhaias, um dos ourives; e ao seu lado reparou Hananias, filho dum dos boticários; e deixaram a Jerusalém até ao muro largo.

Next to him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next to him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem to the broad wall.

9 E ao seu lado reparou Rephaias, filho de Hur, maioral de metade de Jerusalém.

And next to them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

10 E ao seu lado reparou Jedaias, filho de Harumaph, e defronte de sua casa; e ao seu lado reparou Hattus, filho de Hasabneias.

And next to them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next to him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

11 A outra porção reparou Malchias, filho de Harim, e Hasub, filho de Pahathmoab: como também a torre dos fornos.

Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

12 E ao seu lado reparou Sallum, filho de Lohes, maioral da outra meia parte de Jerusalém, ele e suas filhas.

And next to him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

13 A porta do vale reparou-a Hanun e os moradores de Zanoah: estes a edificaram, e lhe levantaram as portas com as suas fechaduras e os seus ferrolhos, como também mil côvados no muro, até à porta do monturo.

The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the dung gate.

14 E a porta do monturo reparou-a Malchias, filho de Rechab, maioral do distrito de Beth-cherem: este a edificou, e lhe levantou as portas com as suas fechaduras e os seus ferrolhos.

But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

15 E a porta da fonte reparou-a Sallum, filho de Col-hose, maioral do distrito de Mispah: este a edificou, e a cobriu, e lhe levantou as portas com as suas fechaduras e os seus ferrolhos, como também o muro do viveiro de Selah, ao pé do jardim do rei, e até aos degraus que descem da cidade de David.

But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and to the stairs that go down from the city of David.

16 Depois dele edificou Nehemias, filho de Azbuk, maioral da metade de Beth-zur, até defronte dos sepulcros de David, e até ao viveiro artificial, e até à casa dos varões.

After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, to the place over against the sepulchers of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty.

17 Depois dele repararam os levitas, Rehum, filho de Bani: ao seu lado reparou Hasabias, maioral da metade de Keila, no seu distrito.

After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.

18 Depois dele repararam seus irmãos, Bavai, filho de Henadad, maioral da outra meia parte de Keila.

After him repaired their brothers, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

19 Ao seu lado reparou Ezer, filho de Josué, maioral de Mispah, outra porção, defronte da subida à casa das armas, à esquina.

And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armory at the turning of the wall.

20 Depois dele reparou com grande ardor Baruch, filho de Zabbai, outra medida, desde a esquina até à porta da casa de Eliasib, o sumo sacerdote.

After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

21 Depois dele reparou Meremoth, filho de Urias, o filho de Kos, outra porção, desde a porta da casa de Eliasib, até à extremidade da casa de Eliasib.

After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

22 E depois dele repararam os sacerdotes que habitavam na campina.

And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

23 Depois reparou Benjamin e Hasub, defronte da sua casa: depois dele reparou Azarias, filho de Maaseias, o filho de Ananias, junto à sua casa.

After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

24 Depois dele reparou Binnui, filho de Henadad, outra porção, desde a casa d'Azarias até à esquina, e até ao canto.

After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, even to the corner.

25 Palal, filho de Uzai, defronte da esquina, e a torre que sai da casa real superior, que está junto ao pátio da prisão: depois dele Pedaias, filho de Parós.

Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lies out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

26 E os nethineos que habitavam em Ophel, até defronte da porta das águas, para o oriente, e até à torre alta.

Moreover the Nethinims dwelled in Ophel, to the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lies out.

27 Depois repararam os tekoitas outra porção, defronte da torre grande e alta, e até ao muro d'Ophel.

After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lies out, even to the wall of Ophel.

28 Desde acima da porta dos cavalos repararam os sacerdotes, cada um defronte da sua casa.

From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

29 Depois deles reparou Zadok, filho de Immer, defronte de sua casa: e depois dele reparou Semaias, filho de Sechanias, guarda da porta oriental.

After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

30 Depois dele reparou Hananias, filho de Selemias, e Hanun, filho de Zalaph, o sexto, outra porção: depois dele reparou Mesullam, filho de Berechias, defronte da sua câmara.

After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.

31 Depois dele reparou Malchias, filho dum ourives, até à casa dos nethineos e mercadores, defronte da porta de Miphkad, e até à câmara do canto.

After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son to the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.

32 E entre a câmara do canto e a porta do gado, repararam os ourives e os mercadores.

And between the going up of the corner to the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
