مزامیر 149

۱ 1 هللویاه! خداوند را سرود تازه بسرایید و تسبیح او را در جماعت مقدسان!

Praise ye the LORD! Sing unto the LORD a new song; His praise in the assembly of the godly!

۲ 2 اسرائیل در آفریننده خود شادی کنندو پسران صهیون در پادشاه خویش وجد نمایند.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their king!

۳ 3 نام او را با رقص تسبیح بخوانند. با بربط و عود اورا بسرایند.

Let them praise his name in the dance; Let them praise him with the timbrel and harp!

۴ 4 زیرا خداوند از قوم خویش رضامندی دارد. مسکینان را به نجات جمیل می‌سازد.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people; He will beautify the distressed with salvation.

۵ 5 مقدسان از جلال فخر بنمایند. و بربسترهای خود ترنم بکنند.

Let the godly-rejoice in their glory; Let them shout for joy upon their beds!

۶ 6 تسبیحات بلند خدادر دهان ایشان باشد. و شمشیر دو‌دمه در دست ایشان.

Let the praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

۷ 7 تا از امت‌ها انتقام بکشند و تادیب‌ها برطوایف بنمایند.

To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishment upon the peoples!

۸ 8 و پادشاهان ایشان را به زنجیرها ببندند و سروران ایشان را به پابندهای آهنین.

To bind their kings with chains. And their nobles with fetters of iron;

۹ 9 و داوری را که مکتوب است بر ایشان اجرا دارند. این کرامت است برای همه مقدسان او. هللویاه!

To execute upon them the sentence which is written: This honor have all his godly ones. Praise ye the LORD!
