متّی 18

۱ 1 در همان ساعت، شاگردان نزد عیسی آمده، گفتند: «چه کس در ملکوت آسمان بزرگتر است؟»

In that hour the disciples came to Yeshua [Salvation], saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven (God)?”

۲ 2 آنگاه عیسی طفلی طلب نموده، در میان ایشان برپا داشت

Yeshua [Salvation] called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them,

۳ 3 و گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم تا بازگشت نکنید و مثل طفل کوچک نشوید، هرگز داخل ملکوت آسمان نخواهید شد.

and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (God).

۴ 4 پس هر‌که مثل این بچه کوچک خود را فروتن سازد، همان در ملکوت آسمان بزرگتر است.

Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven (God).

۵ 5 و کسی‌که چنین طفلی را به اسم من قبول کند، مرا پذیرفته است.

Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,

۶ 6 و هر‌که یکی ازاین صغار را که به من ایمان دارند، لغزش دهد او رابهتر می‌بود که سنگ آسیایی بر گردنش آویخته، در قعر دریا غرق می‌شد!

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.

۷ 7 وای بر این جهان به‌سبب لغزشها؛ زیرا که لابد است از وقوع لغزشها، لیکن وای بر کسی‌که سبب لغزش باشد.

“Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

۸ 8 پس اگر دستت یا پایت تو رابلغزاند، آن را قطع کرده، از خود دور انداز زیرا تورا بهتر است که لنگ یا شل داخل حیات شوی ازآنکه با دو دست یا دو پا در نار جاودانی افکنده شوی. (aiōnios g166)

If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)

۹ 9 و اگر چشمت تو را لغزش دهد، آن را قلع کرده، از خود دور انداز زیرا تو را بهتر است بایک چشم وارد حیات شوی، از اینکه با دو چشم در آتش جهنم افکنده شوی. (Geenna g1067)

If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) of fire. (Geenna g1067)

۱۰ 10 زنهار یکی از این صغار را حقیر مشمارید، زیرا شما را می‌گویم که ملائکه ایشان دائم درآسمان روی پدر مرا که در آسمان است می‌بینند.

See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of 'Avi shebashamayim ·my Father in Heaven·.

۱۱ 11 زیرا که پسر انسان آمده است تا گم شده رانجات‌بخشد.

For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.

۱۲ 12 شما چه گمان می‌برید، اگرکسی را صد گوسفند باشد و یکی از آنها گم شود، آیا آن نود و نه را به کوهسار نمی گذارد و به جستجوی آن گم شده نمی رود؟

“What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does not he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?

۱۳ 13 و اگر اتفاق آن را دریابد، هرآینه به شما می‌گویم بر آن یکی بیشتر شادی می‌کند از آن نود و نه که گم نشده‌اند.

If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.

۱۴ 14 همچنین اراده پدر شما که در آسمان است این نیست که یکی از این کوچکان هلاک گردد.

Even so it is not the will of 'Avikah shebashamayim ·your Father in Heaven· that one of these little ones should perish.

۱۵ 15 «و اگر برادرت به تو گناه کرده باشد، برو واو را میان خود و او در خلوت الزام کن. هرگاه سخن تو را گوش گرفت، برادر خود را دریافتی؛

“If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

۱۶ 16 و اگر نشنود، یک یا دو نفر دیگر با خود بردار تااز زبان دو یا سه شاهد، هر سخنی ثابت شود.

But if he does not listen, take one or two more with you so that every accusation can be supported by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

۱۷ 17 واگر سخن ایشان را رد کند، به کلیسا بگو. و اگرکلیسا را قبول نکند، در نزد تو مثل خارجی یاباجگیر باشد.

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

۱۸ 18 هرآینه به شما می‌گویم آنچه برزمین بندید، در آسمان بسته شده باشد و آنچه برزمین گشایید، در آسمان گشوده شده باشد.

Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

۱۹ 19 باز به شما می‌گویم هر گاه دو نفر از شما در زمین درباره هر‌چه که بخواهند متفق شوند، هرآینه ازجانب پدر من که در آسمان است برای ایشان کرده خواهد شد.

Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by 'Avi shebashamayim ·my Father in Heaven·.

۲۰ 20 زیرا جایی که دو یا سه نفر به اسم من جمع شوند، آنجا درمیان ایشان حاضرم.»

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”

۲۱ 21 آنگاه پطرس نزد او آمده، گفت: «خداوندا، چند مرتبه برادرم به من خطا ورزد، می‌باید او راآمرزید؟ آیا تا هفت مرتبه؟»

Then Peter [Rock] came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”

۲۲ 22 عیسی بدو گفت: «تو را نمی گویم تا هفت مرتبه، بلکه تا هفتاد هفت مرتبه!

Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

۲۳ 23 از آنجهت ملکوت آسمان پادشاهی راماند که با غلامان خود اراده محاسبه داشت.

Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven (God) is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.

۲۴ 24 وچون شروع به حساب نمود، شخصی را نزد اوآوردند که ده هزار قنطار به او بدهکار بود.

When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

۲۵ 25 وچون چیزی نداشت که ادا نماید، آقایش امر کردکه او را با زن و فرزندان و تمام مایملک اوفروخته، طلب را وصول کنند.

But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

۲۶ 26 پس آن غلام روبه زمین نهاده او را پرستش نمود و گفت: “ای آقامرا مهلت ده تا همه را به تو ادا کنم.”

The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’

۲۷ 27 آنگاه آقای آن غلام بر وی ترحم نموده، او را رها کرد وقرض او را بخشید.

The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

۲۸ 28 لیکن چون آن غلام بیرون رفت، یکی از همقطاران خود را یافت که از او صددینار طلب داشت. او را بگرفت و گلویش رافشرده، گفت: “طلب مرا ادا کن!”

“But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii (100 days wages), and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’

۲۹ 29 پس آن همقطار بر پایهای او افتاده، التماس نموده، گفت: “مرا مهلت ده تا همه را به تو رد کنم.”

“So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’

۳۰ 30 اما اوقبول نکرد بلکه رفته، او را در زندان انداخت تاقرض را ادا کند.

He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.

۳۱ 31 چون همقطاران وی این وقایع را دیدند، بسیار غمگین شده، رفتند و آنچه شده بود به آقای خود باز‌گفتند.

So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.

۳۲ 32 آنگاه مولایش او راطلبیده، گفت: “ای غلام شریر، آیا تمام آن قرض را محض خواهش تو به تو نبخشیدم؟

Then his lord called him in, and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.

۳۳ 33 پس آیاتو را نیز لازم نبود که بر همقطار خود رحم کنی چنانکه من بر تو رحم کردم؟”

Should not you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’

۳۴ 34 پس مولای او درغضب شده، او را به جلادان سپرد تا تمام قرض رابدهد.

His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.

۳۵ 35 به همینطور پدر آسمانی من نیز با شماعمل خواهد نمود، اگر هر یکی از شما برادر خودرا از دل نبخشد.»

So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”
