متّی 16
| آنگاه فریسیان و صدوقیان نزد او آمده، از روی امتحان از وی خواستند که آیتی آسمانی برای ایشان ظاهر سازد. | ۱ 1 |
Here the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and, to test Jesus, requested him to show them some sign from the heavens.
| ایشان راجواب داد که «در وقت عصر می‌گویید هوا خوش خواهد بود زیرا آسمان سرخ است؛ | ۲ 2 |
But Jesus answered, ‘In the evening you say “It will be fine weather, for the sky is as red as fire.”
| وصبحگاهان می‌گویید امروز هوا بد خواهد شدزیرا که آسمان سرخ و گرفته است. ای ریاکاران می‌دانید صورت آسمان را تمییز دهید، اماعلامات زمانها را نمی توانید! | ۳ 3 |
But in the morning you say “Today it will be stormy, for the sky is as red as fire and threatening.” You learn to read the sky; yet you are unable to read the signs of the times!
| فرقه شریر زناکار، آیتی می‌طلبند و آیتی بدیشان عطا نخواهد شدجز آیت یونس نبی.» پس ایشان را رها کرده، روانه شد. | ۴ 4 |
A wicked and unfaithful generation is asking for a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah.’ So he left them and went away.
| و شاگردانش چون بدان طرف می‌رفتند، فراموش کردند که نان بردارند. | ۵ 5 |
Now the disciples had crossed to the opposite shore, and had forgotten to take any bread.
| عیسی ایشان راگفت: «آگاه باشید که از خمیرمایه فریسیان وصدوقیان احتیاط کنید!» | ۶ 6 |
Presently Jesus said to them, ‘Take care and be on your guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’
| پس ایشان در خودتفکر نموده، گفتند: «از آن است که نان برنداشته‌ایم.» | ۷ 7 |
But the disciples began talking among themselves about their having brought no bread.
| عیسی این را درک نموده، بدیشان گفت: «ای سست‌ایمانان، چرا در خود تفکرمی کنید از آنجهت که نان نیاورده‌اید؟ | ۸ 8 |
On noticing this, Jesus said, ‘Why are you talking among yourselves about your being short of bread, you of little faith?
| آیا هنوزنفهمیده و یاد نیاورده‌اید آن پنج نان و پنج هزارنفر و چند سبدی را که برداشتید؟ | ۹ 9 |
Don’t you yet see, nor remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took away?
| و نه آن هفت نان و چهار هزار نفر و چند زنبیلی را که برداشتید؟» | ۱۰ 10 |
Nor yet the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you took away?
| پس چرا نفهمیدید که درباره نان شما را نگفتم که از خمیرمایه فریسیان وصدوقیان احتیاط کنید؟» | ۱۱ 11 |
How is it that you do not see that I was not speaking about bread? Be on your guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’
| آنگاه دریافتند که نه از خمیرمایه نان بلکه از تعلیم فریسیان وصدوقیان حکم به احتیاط فرموده است. | ۱۲ 12 |
Then they understood that he had told them to be on their guard, not against the leaven of bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
| و هنگامی که عیسی به نواحی قیصریه فیلپس آمد، از شاگردان خود پرسیده، گفت: «مردم مرا که پسر انسانم چه شخص می‌گویند؟» | ۱۳ 13 |
On coming into the region of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples this question – ‘Who do people say that the Son of Man is?’
| گفتند: «بعضی یحیی تعمید‌دهنده و بعضی الیاس و بعضی ارمیا یا یکی از انبیا.» | ۱۴ 14 |
‘Some say John the Baptist,’ they answered, ‘Others, however, say that he is Elijah, while others again say Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.’
| ایشان راگفت: «شما مرا که می‌دانید؟» | ۱۵ 15 |
‘But you,’ he said, ‘who do you say that I am?’
| شمعون پطرس در جواب گفت که «تویی مسیح، پسر خدای زنده!» | ۱۶ 16 |
To this Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’
| عیسی در جواب وی گفت: «خوشابحال تو‌ای شمعون بن یونا! زیرا جسم وخون این را بر تو کشف نکرده، بلکه پدر من که درآسمان است. | ۱۷ 17 |
‘Blessed are you, Simon, Son of Jonah,’ Jesus replied. ‘For no human being has revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
| و من نیز تو را می‌گویم که تویی پطرس و بر این صخره کلیسای خود را بنا می‌کنم و ابواب جهنم بر آن استیلا نخواهد یافت. (Hadēs g86) | ۱۸ 18 |
Yes, and I say to you, your name is “Peter” – a Rock, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail over it. (Hadēs g86)
| وکلیدهای ملکوت آسمان را به تو می‌سپارم؛ وآنچه بر زمین ببندی در آسمان بسته گردد و آنچه در زمین گشایی در آسمان گشاده شود. | ۱۹ 19 |
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be held in heaven to be forbidden, and whatever you allow on earth will be held in heaven to be allowed.’
| آنگاه شاگردان خود را قدغن فرمود که به هیچ‌کس نگویند که او مسیح است. | ۲۰ 20 |
Then he charged his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
| و از آن زمان عیسی به شاگردان خودخبردادن آغاز کرد که رفتن او به اورشلیم وزحمت بسیار کشیدن از مشایخ و روسای کهنه وکاتبان و کشته شدن و در روز سوم برخاستن ضروری است. | ۲۱ 21 |
At that time Jesus Christ began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem, and undergo much suffering at the hands of the elders, and chief priests, and teachers of the Law, and be put to death, and rise on the third day.
| و پطرس او را گرفته، شروع کرد به منع نمودن و گفت: «حاشا از تو‌ای خداوندکه این بر تو هرگز واقع نخواهد شد!» | ۲۲ 22 |
But Peter took Jesus aside, and began to rebuke him. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘please God that will never be your fate!’
| اما اوبرگشته، پطرس را گفت: «دور شو از من‌ای شیطان زیرا که باعث لغزش من می‌باشی، زیرا نه امورالهی را بلکه امور انسانی را تفکر می‌کنی!» | ۲۳ 23 |
Jesus, however, turning to Peter, said, ‘Out of my way, Satan! You are a hindrance to me; for you look at things, not as God does, but as person does.’
| آنگاه عیسی به شاگردان خود گفت: «اگر کسی خواهدمتابعت من کند، باید خود را انکار کرده وصلیب خود را برداشته، از عقب من آید. | ۲۴ 24 |
Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to walk in my steps, they must renounce self, and take up their cross, and follow me.
| زیرا هر کس بخواهد جان خود را برهاند، آن را هلاک سازد؛ اما هر‌که جان خود را بخاطر من هلاک کند، آن را دریابد. | ۲۵ 25 |
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, and whoever, for my sake, loses his life will find it.
| زیرا شخص را چه سود دارد که تمام دنیا را ببرد و جان خود را ببازد؟ یا اینکه آدمی چه چیز را فدای جان خود خواهدساخت؟ | ۲۶ 26 |
What good will it do a person to gain the whole world, if he forfeits his life? Or what will a person give that is of equal value with his life?
| زیرا که پسر انسان خواهد آمد درجلال پدر خویش به اتفاق ملائکه خود و در آن وقت هر کسی را موافق اعمالش جزا خواهد داد. | ۲۷ 27 |
For the Son of Man is to come in his Father’s glory, with his angels, and then he will give to everyone what his actions deserve.
| هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که بعضی در اینجاحاضرند که تا پسر انسان را نبینند که در ملکوت خود می‌آید، ذائقه موت را نخواهند چشید.» | ۲۸ 28 |
I tell you, some of those who are standing here will not know death until they have seen the Son of Man coming into his kingdom.’
