ایّوب 21
| پس ایوب در جواب گفت: | ۱ 1 |
Then Job answered and said,
| «بشنوید، کلام مرا بشنوید. و این، تسلی شماباشد. | ۲ 2 |
Hear diligently my speech; And let this be your consolations.
| با من تحمل نمایید تا بگویم، و بعد ازگفتنم استهزا نمایید. | ۳ 3 |
Suffer me, and I also will speak; And after that I have spoken, mock on.
| و اما من، آیا شکایتم نزدانسان است؟ پس چرا بی‌صبر نباشم؟ | ۴ 4 |
As for me, is my complaint to man? And why should I not be impatient?
| به من توجه کنید و تعجب نمایید، و دست به دهان بگذارید. | ۵ 5 |
Mark me, and be astonished, And lay your hand upon your mouth.
| هرگاه به یاد می‌آورم، حیران می‌شوم. و لرزه جسد مرا می‌گیرد. | ۶ 6 |
Even when I remember I am troubled, And horror taketh hold on my flesh.
| چرا شریران زنده می‌مانند، پیر می‌شوند و در توانایی قوی می‌گردند؟ | ۷ 7 |
Wherefore do the wicked live, Become old, yea, wax mighty in power?
| ذریت ایشان به حضور ایشان، با ایشان استوار می‌شوند و اولاد ایشان در نظرایشان. | ۸ 8 |
Their seed is established with them in their sight, And their offspring before their eyes.
| خانه های ایشان، از ترس ایمن می‌باشد وعصای خدا بر ایشان نمی آید. | ۹ 9 |
Their houses are safe from fear, Neither is the rod of God upon them.
| گاو نر ایشان جماع می‌کند و خطا نمی کند و گاو ایشان می‌زایدو سقط نمی نماید. | ۱۰ 10 |
Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; Their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.
| بچه های خود را مثل گله بیرون می‌فرستند و اطفال ایشان رقص می‌کنند. | ۱۱ 11 |
They send forth their little ones like a flock, And their children dance.
| با دف وعود می‌سرایند، و با صدای نای شادی می‌نمایند. | ۱۲ 12 |
They sing to the timbrel and harp, And rejoice at the sound of the pipe.
| روزهای خود را در سعادتمندی صرف می‌کنند، و به لحظه‌ای به هاویه فرودمی روند. (Sheol h7585) | ۱۳ 13 |
They spend their days in prosperity, And in a moment they go down to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
| و به خدا می‌گویند: از ما دور شو زیراکه معرفت طریق تو را نمی خواهیم. | ۱۴ 14 |
And they say unto God, Depart from us; For we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
| قادرمطلق کیست که او را عبادت نماییم، و ما را چه فایده که از او استدعا نماییم. | ۱۵ 15 |
What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?
| اینک سعادتمندی ایشان در دست ایشان نیست. کاش که مشورت شریران از من دور باشد. | ۱۶ 16 |
Lo, their prosperity is not in their hand: The counsel of the wicked is far from me.
| «بسا چراغ شریران خاموش می‌شود وذلت ایشان به ایشان می‌رسد، و خدا در غضب خود دردها را نصیب ایشان می‌کند. | ۱۷ 17 |
How oft is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? That their calamity cometh upon them? That [God] distributeth sorrows in his anger?
| مثل سفال پیش روی باد می‌شوند و مثل کاه که گردبادپراکنده می‌کند. | ۱۸ 18 |
That they are as stubble before the wind, And as chaff that the storm carrieth away?
| خدا گناهش را برای فرزندانش ذخیره می‌کند، و او را مکافات می‌رساند و خواهد دانست. | ۱۹ 19 |
[Ye say], God layeth up his iniquity for his children. Let him recompense it unto himself, that he may know it:
| چشمانش هلاکت او را خواهد دید، و از خشم قادر مطلق خواهدنوشید. | ۲۰ 20 |
Let his own eyes see his destruction, And let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
| زیرا که بعد از او در خانه‌اش او را چه شادی خواهد بود، چون عدد ماههایش منقطع شود؟ | ۲۱ 21 |
For what careth he for his house after him, When the number of his months is cut off?
| آیا خدا را علم توان آموخت؟ چونکه اوبر اعلی علیین داوری می‌کند. | ۲۲ 22 |
Shall any teach God knowledge, Seeing he judgeth those that are high?
| یکی در عین قوت خود می‌میرد، در حالی که بالکل در امنیت وسلامتی است. | ۲۳ 23 |
One dieth in his full strength, Being wholly at ease and quiet:
| قدحهای او پر از شیر است، ومغز استخوانش تر و تازه است. | ۲۴ 24 |
His pails are full of milk, And the marrow of his bones is moistened.
| و دیگری درتلخی جان می‌میرد و از نیکویی هیچ لذت نمی برد. | ۲۵ 25 |
And another dieth in bitterness of soul, And never tasteth of good.
| اینها باهم در خاک می‌خوابند و کرمها ایشان را می‌پوشانند. | ۲۶ 26 |
They lie down alike in the dust, And the worm covereth them.
| اینک افکار شما رامی دانم و تدبیراتی که ناحق بر من می‌اندیشید. | ۲۷ 27 |
Behold, I know your thoughts, And the devices wherewith ye would wrong me.
| زیرا می‌گویید کجاست خانه امیر، و خیمه های مسکن شریران؟ | ۲۸ 28 |
For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?
| آیا از راه گذریان نپرسیدید؟ ودلایل ایشان را انکار نمی توانید نمود، | ۲۹ 29 |
Have ye not asked wayfaring men? And do ye not know their evidences,
| که شریران برای روز ذلت نگاه داشته می‌شوند و درروز غضب، بیرون برده می‌گردند. | ۳۰ 30 |
That the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity? That they are led forth to the day of wrath?
| کیست که راهش را پیش رویش بیان کند، و جزای آنچه راکه کرده است به او برساند؟ | ۳۱ 31 |
Who shall declare his way to his face? And who shall repay him what he hath done?
| که آخر او را به قبرخواهند برد، و بر مزار او نگاهبانی خواهند کرد. | ۳۲ 32 |
Yet shall he be borne to the grave, And men shall keep watch over the tomb.
| کلوخهای وادی برایش شیرین می‌شود وجمیع آدمیان در عقب او خواهند رفت، چنانکه قبل از او بیشماره رفته‌اند. | ۳۳ 33 |
The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, And all men shall draw after him, As there were innumerable before him.
| پس چگونه مراتسلی باطل می‌دهید که در جوابهای شما محض خیانت می‌ماند!» | ۳۴ 34 |
How then comfort ye me in vain, Seeing in your answers there remaineth [only] falsehood?
