ارمیا 3

۱ 1 و می‌گوید: «اگر مرد، زن خود را طلاق دهدو او از وی جدا شده، زن مرد دیگری بشودآیا بار دیگر به آن زن رجوع خواهد نمود؟ مگرآن زمین بسیار ملوث نخواهد شد؟ لیکن خداوندمی گوید: تو با یاران بسیار زنا کردی اما نزد من رجوع نما.

It is seid comunli, If a man forsakith his wijf, and sche go awei fro hym, and be weddid to an othere hosebonde, whether he schal turne ayen more to hir? whether thilke womman schal not be defoulid, and maad vncleene? Forsothe thou hast do fornycacioun with many loueris; netheles turne thou ayen to me, `seith the Lord, and Y schal resseyue thee.

۲ 2 چشمان خود را به بلندیها برافراز وببین که کدام جا است که در آن با تو همخواب نشده‌اند. برای ایشان بسر راهها مثل (زن ) عرب در بیابان نشستی و زمین را به زنا و بدرفتاری خودملوث ساختی.

Reise thin iyen in to streiyt, and se, where thou art not cast doun. Thou hast setun in weies, abidynge hem as a theef in wildirnesse, and thou hast defoulid the erthe in thi fornicaciouns and in thi malices.

۳ 3 پس بارش‌ها بازداشته شد وباران بهاری نیامد و تو را جبین زن زانیه بوده، حیارا از خود دور کردی.

Wherfor the dropis of reynes weren forbodun, and no late reyn was. The forhed of a womman hoore is maad to thee; thou noldist be aschamed.

۴ 4 آیا از این به بعد مرا صدانخواهی زد که‌ای پدر من، تو یار جوانی من بودی؟

Nameli fro this tyme forth clepe thou me, Thou art my fadir, the ledere of my virginyte.

۵ 5 آیا غضب خود را تا به ابد خواهد نمود وآن را تا به آخر نگاه خواهد داشت؟ اینک این راگفتی اما اعمال بد را بجا آورده، کامیاب شدی.»

Whether thou schalt be wrooth with outen ende, ether schalt contynue in to the ende? Lo! thou hast spoke, and hast do yuels, and thou were myyti. And for wordis of penaunce thou blasfemydist bi wordis of pride; and thou fillidist thin yuel thouyt, and schewidist thi strengthe ayens thi hosebonde, that thou maist do that thing that thou tretidist bi word.

۶ 6 و خداوند در ایام یوشیا پادشاه به من گفت: «آیا ملاحظه کردی که اسرائیل مرتد چه کرده است؟ چگونه به فراز هر کوه بلند و زیر هردرخت سبز رفته در آنجا زنا کرده است؟

And the Lord seide to me, in the daies of Josie, the kyng, Whether thou hast seyn what thing the aduersarie, Israel, hath do? Sche yede to hir silf on ech hiy hil, and vndur ech tre ful of boowis, and dide fornycacioun there.

۷ 7 و بعداز آنکه همه این کارها را کرده بود من گفتم نزد من رجوع نما، اما رجوع نکرد و خواهر خائن اویهودا این را بدید.

And Y seide, whanne sche hadde do alle these thingis, Turne thou ayen to me; and sche turnede not ayen. And hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe,

۸ 8 و من دیدم با آنکه اسرائیل مرتد زنا کرد و از همه جهات او را بیرون کردم وطلاق نامه‌ای به وی دادم لکن خواهر خائن اویهودا نترسید بلکه او نیز رفته، مرتکب زنا شد.

siy, that for the aduersarie, Israel, dide auowtrie, Y hadde left hir, and Y hadde youe to hir a libel of forsakyng; and Juda, hir sistir, brekere of the lawe, dredde not, but also sche yede, and dide fornycacioun.

۹ 9 وواقع شد که به‌سبب سهل انگاری او در زناکاریش زمین ملوث گردید و او با سنگها و چوبها زنانمود.

And bi liytnesse of hir fornicacioun sche defoulide the erthe, and dide auowtrie with a stoon, and with a tree.

۱۰ 10 و نیز خداوند می‌گوید: با وجود این همه، خواهر خائن او یهودا نزد من با تمامی دل خود رجوع نکرد بلکه با ریاکاری.»

And in alle these thingis hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe, turnede not ayen to me, in al hir herte, but in a leesyng, seith the Lord God.

۱۱ 11 پس خداوند مرا گفت: «اسرائیل مرتدخویشتن را از یهودای خائن عادلتر نموده است.

And the Lord seide to me, The aduersarie, Israel, hath iustified hir soule, in comparisoun of Juda, brekere of the lawe.

۱۲ 12 لهذا برو و این سخنان را بسوی شمال نداکرده، بگو: خداوند می‌گوید: ای اسرائیل مرتدرجوع نما! و بر تو غضب نخواهم نمود زیراخداوند می‌گوید: من روف هستم و تا به ابد خشم خود را نگاه نخواهم داشت.

Go thou, and crye these wordis ayens the north; and thou schalt seie, Thou aduersarie, Israel, turne ayen, seith the Lord, and Y schal not turne awei my face fro you; for Y am hooli, seith the Lord, and Y schal not be wrooth with outen ende.

۱۳ 13 فقط به گناهانت اعتراف نما که بر یهوه خدای خویش عاصی شدی و راههای خود را زیر هر درخت سبز برای بیگانگان منشعب ساختی و خداوند می‌گوید که شما آواز مرا نشنیدید.

Netheles knowe thou thi wickidnesse; for thou hast trespassid ayens thi Lord God, and thou hast spred abrood thi weies to aliens vndur ech tre ful of bowis; and thou herdist not my vois, seith the Lord.

۱۴ 14 پس خداوند می‌گوید: ای پسران مرتد رجوع نمایید زیرا که من شوهرشما هستم و از شما یک نفر از شهری و دو نفر ازقبیله‌ای گرفته، شما را به صهیون خواهم آورد.

Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, seith the Lord, for Y am youre hosebonde; and Y schal take you oon of a citee, and tweyne of a kynrede, and Y schal lede you in to Sion;

۱۵ 15 و به شما شبانان موافق دل خود خواهم داد که شما را به معرفت و حکمت خواهند چرانید.

and Y schal yyue to you scheepherdis after myn herte, and thei schulen feede you with kunnyng and teching.

۱۶ 16 «و خداوند می‌گوید که چون در زمین افزوده و بارور شوید در آن ایام بار دیگر تابوت عهد یهوه را به زبان نخواهند‌آورد و آن به‌خاطرایشان نخواهد آمد و آن را ذکر نخواهند کرد و آن را زیارت نخواهند نمود و بار دیگر ساخته نخواهد شد.

And whanne ye schulen be multiplied, and encreesse in the lond, in tho daies, seith the Lord, thei schulen no more seie, The arke of testament of the Lord; nether it schal stie on the herte, nether thei schulen thenke on it, nether it schal be visitid, nether it schal be ferthere.

۱۷ 17 زیرا در آن زمان اورشلیم راکرسی یهوه خواهند نامید و تمامی امت‌ها به آنجابه جهت اسم یهوه به اورشلیم جمع خواهند شدو ایشان بار دیگر پیروی سرکشی دلهای شریرخود را نخواهند نمود.

In that tyme thei schulen clepe Jerusalem The seete of the Lord, and alle hethene men schulen be gaderid togidere to it, in the name of the Lord, in Jerusalem; and thei schulen not go aftir the schrewidnesse of her worste herte.

۱۸ 18 و در آن ایام خاندان یهودا با خاندان اسرائیل راه خواهند رفت وایشان از زمین شمال به آن زمینی که نصیب پدران ایشان ساختم با هم خواهند آمد.

In tho daies the hous of Juda schal go to the hous of Israel; and thei schulen come togidere fro the lond of the north to the lond which Y yaf to youre fadris.

۱۹ 19 و گفتم که من تو را چگونه در میان پسران قرار دهم و زمین مرغوب و میراث زیباترین امت‌ها را به تو دهم؟ پس گفتم که مرا پدر خواهی خواند و از من دیگرمرتد نخواهی شد.

Forsothe Y seide, Hou schal Y sette thee among sones, and schal yyue to thee a desirable lond, a ful cleer eritage of the oostis of hethene men? And Y seide, Thou schalt clepe me fadir, and thou schalt not ceesse to entre aftir me.

۲۰ 20 خداوند می‌گوید: هر آینه مثل زنی که به شوهر خود خیانت ورزد همچنین شما‌ای خاندان اسرائیل به من خیانت ورزیدید.

But as if a womman dispisith hir louyere, so the hous of Israel dispiside me, seith the Lord.

۲۱ 21 آواز گریه و تضرعات بنی‌اسرائیل از بلندیهاشنیده می‌شود زیرا که راههای خود را منحرف ساخته و یهوه خدای خود را فراموش کرده‌اند.

A vois is herd in weies, the weping and yellyng of the sones of Israel; for thei maden wickid her weie, thei foryaten her Lord God.

۲۲ 22 ‌ای فرزندان مرتد بازگشت نمایید و من ارتدادهای شما را شفا خواهم داد.» (ومی گویند): «اینک نزد تو می‌آییم زیرا که تو یهوه خدای ما هستی.

Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, and Y schal heele youre turnyngis awei. Lo! we comen to thee; for thou art oure Lord God.

۲۳ 23 به درستی که ازدحام کوههااز تلها باطل می‌باشد. زیرا به درستی که نجات اسرائیل در یهوه خدای ما است.

Verili litil hillis weren lieris, the multitude of mounteyns was fals; verili in oure Lord God is the helthe of Israel.

۲۴ 24 و خجالت مشقت پدران ما، یعنی رمه و گله و پسران ودختران ایشان را از طفولیت ما تلف کرده است.

Schenschipe eete the trauel of oure fadris, fro oure yongthe; schenschipe eet the flockis of hem, and the droues of hem, the sones of hem, and the douytris of hem.

۲۵ 25 در خجالت خود می‌خوابیم و رسوایی ما، ما رامی پوشاند زیرا که هم ما و هم پدران ما از طفولیت خود تا امروز به یهوه خدای خویش گناه ورزیده و آواز یهوه خدای خویش را نشنیده‌ایم.»

We schulen slepe in oure schenschipe, and oure sclaundir schal hile vs; for we synneden to oure Lord God, bothe we and oure fadris, fro oure yongthe `til to this dai; and we herden not the vois of oure Lord God.
