اشعیا 53
| کیست که خبر ما را تصدیق نموده وکیست که ساعد خداوند بر او منکشف شده باشد؟ | ۱ 1 |
Who bileuyde to oure heryng? and to whom is the arm of the Lord schewide?
| زیرا به حضور وی مثل نهال و مانندریشه در زمین خشک خواهد رویید. او را نه صورتی و نه جمالی می‌باشد. و چون او رامی نگریم منظری ندارد که مشتاق او باشیم. | ۲ 2 |
And he schal stie as a yerde bifore hym, and as a roote fro thirsti lond. And nether schap nether fairnesse was to hym; and we sien hym, and no biholdyng was;
| خوار و نزد مردمان مردود و صاحب غمها ورنج دیده و مثل کسی‌که رویها را از او بپوشانند وخوار شده که او را به حساب نیاوردیم. | ۳ 3 |
and we desiriden hym, dispisid, and the laste of men, a man of sorewis, and knowynge sikenesse. And his cheer was as hid and dispisid; wherfor and we arettiden not hym.
| لکن او غم های ما را بر خود گرفت و دردهای ما را بر خویش حمل نمود. و ما او را از جانب خدا زحمت کشیده و مضروب و مبتلا گمان بردیم. | ۴ 4 |
Verili he suffride oure sikenessis, and he bar oure sorewis; and we arettiden hym as a mesel, and smytun of God, and maad low.
| و حال آنکه به‌سبب تقصیرهای مامجروح و به‌سبب گناهان ما کوفته گردید. وتادیب سلامتی ما بر وی آمد و از زخمهای او ماشفا یافتیم. | ۵ 5 |
Forsothe he was woundid for oure wickidnessis, he was defoulid for oure greet trespassis; the lernyng of oure pees was on hym, and we ben maad hool bi his wannesse.
| جمیع ما مثل گوسفندان گمراه شده بودیم و هریکی از ما به راه خود برگشته بود وخداوند گناه جمیع ما را بروی نهاد. | ۶ 6 |
Alle we erriden as scheep, ech man bowide in to his owne weie, and the Lord puttide in hym the wickidnesse of vs alle.
| او مظلوم شد اما تواضع نموده، دهان خود رانگشود. مثل بره‌ای که برای ذبح می‌برند و مانندگوسفندی که نزد پشم برنده‌اش بی‌زبان است همچنان دهان خود را نگشود. | ۷ 7 |
He was offrid, for he wolde, and he openyde not his mouth; as a scheep he schal be led to sleyng, and he schal be doumb as a lomb bifore hym that clippith it, and he schal not opene his mouth.
| از ظلم و ازداوری گرفته شد. و از طبقه او که تفکر نمود که اواز زمین زندگان منقطع شد و به جهت گناه قوم من مضروب گردید؟ | ۸ 8 |
He is takun awey fro angwisch and fro doom; who schal telle out the generacioun of hym? For he was kit doun fro the lond of lyueris. Y smoot hym for the greet trespas of my puple.
| و قبر او را با شریران تعیین نمودند و بعد از مردنش با دولتمندان. هرچند هیچ ظلم نکرد و در دهان وی حیله‌ای نبود. | ۹ 9 |
And he schal yyue vnfeithful men for biriyng, and riche men for his deth; for he dide not wickidnesse, nether gile was in his mouth;
| اما خداوند را پسند آمد که او را مضروب نموده، به دردها مبتلا سازد. چون جان او راقربانی گناه ساخت. آنگاه ذریت خود را خواهددید و عمر او دراز خواهد شد و مسرت خداونددر دست او میسر خواهد بود. | ۱۰ 10 |
and the Lord wolde defoule hym in sikenesse. If he puttith his lijf for synne, he schal se seed long durynge, and the wille of the Lord schal be dressid in his hond.
| ثمره مشقت جان خویش را خواهد دید و سیر خواهد شد. وبنده عادل من به معرفت خود بسیاری را عادل خواهد گردانید زیرا که او گناهان ایشان را برخویشتن حمل خواهد نمود. | ۱۱ 11 |
For that that his soule trauelide, he schal se, and schal be fillid. Thilke my iust seruaunt schal iustifie many men in his kunnyng, and he schal bere the wickidnessis of hem.
| بنابراین او را درمیان بزرگان نصیب خواهم داد و غنیمت را بازورآوران تقسیم خواهد نمود، به جهت اینکه جان خود را به مرگ ریخت و از خطاکاران محسوب شد و گناهان بسیاری را بر خود گرفت وبرای خطاکاران شفاعت نمود. | ۱۲ 12 |
Therfor Y schal yelde, ethir dele, to hym ful many men, and he schal departe the spuilis of the stronge feendis; for that that he yaf his lijf in to deth, and was arettid with felenouse men; and he dide a wei the synne of many men, and he preiede for trespassouris.
