اول قرنتیان 6

۱ 1 آیا کسی از شما چون بر دیگری مدعی باشد، جرات دارد که مرافعه برد پیش ظالمان نه نزد مقدسان؟

Can it be that, when one of you has a dispute with another, they dare to have their case tried before the heathen, instead of before Christ’s people?

۲ 2 یا نمی دانید که مقدسان، دنیا را داوری خواهند کرد؛ و اگر دنیا از شما حکم یابد، آیا قابل مقدمات کمتر نیستید؟

Don’t you know that Christ’s people will try the world? And if the world is to be tried by you, are you unfit to try the most trivial cases?

۳ 3 آیانمی دانید که فرشتگان را داوری خواهیم کرد تاچه رسد به امور روزگار؟

Don’t you know that we are to try angels – to say nothing of the affairs of this life?

۴ 4 پس چون در مقدمات روزگار مرافعه دارید، آیا آنانی را که در کلیساحقیر شمرده می‌شوند، می‌نشانید؟

Why, then, if you have cases relating to the affairs of this life, do you set to try them those who carry no weight with the church? To your shame I ask it.

۵ 5 بجهت انفعال شما می‌گویم، آیا در میان شما یک نفر دانانیست که بتواند در میان برادران خود حکم کند؟

Can it be that there is not one among you wise enough to decide between two of their fellow followers?

۶ 6 بلکه برادر با برادر به محاکمه می‌رود و آن هم نزد بی‌ایمانان!

Must a follower sue a fellow follower? In front of unbelievers?

۷ 7 بلکه الان شما را بالکلیه قصوری است که بایکدیگر مرافعه دارید. چرا بیشتر مظلوم نمی شوید و چرا بیشتر مغبون نمی شوید؟

To begin with, it is undoubtedly a loss to you to have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather let yourselves be wronged? Why not rather let yourselves be cheated?

۸ 8 بلکه شما ظلم می‌کنید و مغبون می‌سازید و این را نیزبه برادران خود!

Instead of this, you wrong and cheat others yourselves – yes, even other followers!

۹ 9 آیا نمی دانید که ظالمان وارث ملکوت خدا نمی شوند؟ فریب مخورید، زیرافاسقان و بت‌پرستان و زانیان و متنعمان و لواط

Don’t you know that wrongdoers will have no share in God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived. No one who is immoral, or an idolater, or an adulterer, or licentious, or a sexual pervert,

۱۰ 10 و دزدان و طمعکاران و میگساران و فحاشان وستمگران وارث ملکوت خدا نخواهند شد.

or a thief, or covetous, or a drunkard, or abusive, or grasping, will have any share in God’s kingdom.

۱۱ 11 وبعضی از شما چنین می‌بودید لکن غسل یافته ومقدس گردیده و عادل کرده شده‌اید به نام عیسی خداوند و به روح خدای ما.

Such some of you used to be; but you washed yourselves clean. You became Christ’s people! You were pronounced righteous through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the Spirit of our God!

۱۲ 12 همه‌چیز برای من جایز است لکن هرچیزمفید نیست. همه‌چیز برای من رواست، لیکن نمی گذارم که چیزی بر من تسلط یابد.

Everything is allowable for me! Yes, but everything is not profitable. Everything is allowable for me! Yes, but for my part, I will not let myself be enslaved by anything.

۱۳ 13 خوراک برای شکم است و شکم برای خوراک، لکن خدااین و آن را فانی خواهد ساخت. اما جسم برای زنانیست، بلکه برای خداوند است و خداوند برای جسم.

Food exists for the stomach, and the stomach for food; but God will put an end to both the one and the other. The body, however, exists, not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body;

۱۴ 14 و خدا خداوند را برخیزانید و ما را نیز به قوت خود خواهد برخیزانید.

and, as God has raised the Lord, so he will raise us up also by the exercise of his power.

۱۵ 15 آیا نمی دانید که بدنهای شما اعضای مسیح است؟ پس آیااعضای مسیح را برداشته، اعضای فاحشه گردانم؟ حاشا!

Don’t you know that your bodies are Christ’s members? Am I, then, to take the members that belong to the Christ and make them the members of a prostitute? Heaven forbid!

۱۶ 16 آیا نمی دانید که هرکه با فاحشه پیوندد، با وی یکتن باشد؟ زیرا می‌گوید «هردویک تن خواهند بود».

Or don’t you know that a man who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body (for “the two,” it is said, “will become one”);

۱۷ 17 لکن کسی‌که با خداوندپیوندد یکروح است.

while a man who is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit?

۱۸ 18 از زنا بگریزید. هر گناهی که آدمی می‌کند بیرون از بدن است، لکن زانی بربدن خود گناه می‌ورزد.

Shun all immorality. Every other sin that people commit is something outside the body; but an immoral person sins against their own body.

۱۹ 19 یا نمی دانید که بدن شما هیکل روح‌القدس است که در شما است که از خدا یافته‌اید و از آن خود نیستید؟

Again, don’t you know that your body is a shrine of the Holy Spirit that is within you – the Spirit which you have from God?

۲۰ 20 زیرا که به قیمتی خریده شدید، پس خدا را به بدن خودتمجید نمایید.

Moreover, you are not your own masters; you were bought, and the price was paid. Therefore, honour God in your bodies.
