1 Questi sono i figli di Israele: Ruben, Simeone, Levi, Giuda, Issacar, Zàbulon,
These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan, Giuseppe, Beniamino, Nèftali, Gad e Aser.
Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Figli di Giuda: Er, Onan, Sela; i tre gli nacquero dalla figlia di Sua la Cananea. Er, primogenito di Giuda, era malvagio agli occhi del Signore, che perciò lo fece morire.
The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
4 Tamàr sua nuora gli partorì Perez e Zerach. Totale dei figli di Giuda: cinque.
And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.
5 Figli di Perez: Chezròn e Camùl.
The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
6 Figli di Zerach: Zimri, Etan, Eman, Calcol e Darda; in tutto: cinque.
The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
7 Figli di Carmì: Acar, che provocò una disgrazia in Israele con la trasgressione dello sterminio.
And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
8 Figli di Etan: Azaria.
The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.

And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14 Netaneèl, quarto, Raddài, quinto,
Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,
15 Ozem, sesto, Davide, settimo.
Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.
16 Loro sorelle furono: Zeruià e Abigàil. Figli di Zeruià furono Abisài, Ioab e Asaèl: tre.
Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.
17 Abigàil partorì Amasà, il cui padre fu Ieter l'Ismaelita.
And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
18 Caleb, figlio di Chezròn, dalla moglie Azubà ebbe Ieriòt. Questi sono i figli di lei: Ieser, Sobàb e Ardon.
And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Morta Azubà, Caleb prese in moglie Efrat, che gli partorì Cur.
And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20 Cur generò Uri; Uri generò Bezaleèl.
And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.
21 Dopo Chezròn si unì alla figlia di Machir, padre di Gàlaad; egli la sposò a sessant'anni ed essa gli partorì Segùb.
And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
22 Segùb generò Iair, cui appartennero ventitrè città nella regione di Gàlaad.
And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
23 Ghesur e Aram presero loro i villaggi di Iair con Kenat e le dipendenze: sessanta città. Tutti questi furono figli di Machir, padre di Gàlaad.
And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 Dopo la morte di Chezròn, Caleb si unì a Efrata, moglie di suo padre Chezròn, la quale gli partorì Ascùr, padre di Tekòa.
And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25 I figli di Ieracmèl, primogenito di Chezròn, furono Ram il primogenito, Buna, Oren, Achia.
And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.
26 Ieracmèl ebbe una seconda moglie che si chiamava Atara e fu madre di Onam.
Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
27 I figli di Ram, primogenita di Ieracmèl, furono Maas, Iamin ed Eker.
And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.
28 I figli di Onam furono Sammài e Iada. Figli di Sammài: Nadàb e Abisùr.
And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
29 La moglie di Abisùr si chiamava Abiàil e gli partorì Acbàn e Molìd.
And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
30 Figli di Nadàb furono Seled ed Efraim. Seled morì senza figli.
The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31 Figli di Efraim: Isèi; figli di Isèi: Sesan; figli di Sesan: Aclài.
And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
32 Figli di Iada, fratello di Sammài: Ieter e Giònata. Ieter morì senza figli.
And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
33 Figli di Giònata: Pelet e Zaza. Questi furono i discendenti di Ieracmèl.
And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
34 Sesan non ebbe figli, ma solo figlie; egli aveva uno schiavo egiziano chiamato Iarcà.
And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.
35 Sesan diede in moglie allo schiavo Iarcà una figlia, che gli partorì Attài.
And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.
36 Attài generò Natàn; Natàn generò Zabad;
And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,
37 Zabad generò Eflal; Eflal generò Obed;
And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,
38 Obed generò Ieu; Ieu generò Azaria;
And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,
39 Azaria generò Chelez; Chelez generò Eleasà;
And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
40 Eleasà generò Sismài; Sismài generò Sallùm;
And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
41 Sallùm generò Iekamià; Iekamià generò Elisamà.
And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
42 Figli di Caleb, fratello di Ieracmèl, furono Mesa, suo primogenito, che fu padre di Zif; il figlio di Maresà fu padre di Ebron.
Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 Figli di Ebron: Core, Tappùach, Rekem e Samài.
And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
44 Samài generò Ràcam, padre di Iorkoàm; Rekem generò Sammài.
And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
45 Figlio di Sammài: Maòn, che fu padre di Bet-Zur.
The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46 Efa, concubina di Caleb, partorì Caràn, Moza e Gazez; Caran generò Gazez.
And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
47 Figli di Iadài: Reghem, Iotam, Ghesan, Pelet, Efa e Saàf.
The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maaca, concubina di Caleb, partorì Seber e Tircanà;
Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 partorì anche Saàf, padre di Madmannà, e Seva, padre di Macbenà e padre di Gàbaa. Figlia di Caleb fu Acsa.
She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.
50 Questi furono i figli di Caleb. Ben-Cur, primogenito di Efrata, Sobal, padre di Kiriat-Iearìm,
These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.
51 Salma, padre di Betlemme, Haref, padre di Bet-Gader.
Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 Sobal, padre di Kiriat-Iearìm, ebbe come figli Reaia, Cazi e Manacàt.
And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
53 Le famiglie di Kiriat-Iearìm sono quelle di Ieter, di Put, di Suma e di Masra. Da costoro derivarono quelli di Zorea e di Estaòl.
And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54 Figli di Salma: Betlemme, i Netofatiti, Atarot-Bet-Ioab e metà dei Manactei e degli Zoreatei.
The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.
55 Le famiglie degli scribi che abitavano in Iabèz: i Tireatei, Simeatei e i Sucatei. Questi erano Keniti, discendenti da Cammat della famiglia di Recàb.
And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
