5 Figli di Iafet: Gomer, Magòg, Media, Grecia, Tubal, Mesech e Tiras.
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Figli di Gomer: Ascanàz, Rifat e Togarmà.
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
7 Figli di Grecia: Elisà, Tarsìs, quelli di Cipro e quelli di Rodi.
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Figli di Cam: Etiopia, Egitto, Put e Canaan.
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 Figli di Etiopia: Seba, Avila, Sabta, Raemà e Sabtecà. Figli di Raemà: Saba e Dedan.
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Etiopia generò Nimròd, che fu il primo eroe sulla terra.
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
11 Egitto generò i Ludi, gli Anamiti, i Leabiti, i Naftuchiti,
And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
12 i Patrositi, i Casluchiti e i Caftoriti, dai quali derivarono i Filistei.
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
13 Canaan generò Sidòne suo primogenito, Chet,
Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
14 il Gebuseo, l'Amorreo, il Gergeseo,
And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 l'Eveo, l'Archita, il Sineo,
And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,

And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Figli di Sem: Elam, Assur, Arpacsàd, Lud e Aram. Figli di Aram: Uz, Cul, Gheter e Mesech.
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arpacsàd generò Selàch; Selàch generò Eber.
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 A Eber nacquero due figli, uno si chiamava Peleg, perché ai suoi tempi si divise la terra, e suo fratello si chiamava Ioktàn.
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
20 Ioktàn generò Almodàd, Salef, Cazarmàvet, Ièrach,
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 Adoràm, Uzàl, Diklà,
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 Ebàl, Abimaèl, Saba,
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ofir, Avila e Iobàb; tutti costoro erano figli di Ioktàn.
And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
24 Sem, Arpacsàd, Selàch,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
26 Serug, Nacor, Terach,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abram, cioè Abramo.
Abram, which is Abraham.
28 Figli di Abramo: Isacco e Ismaele.
The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
29 Ecco la loro discendenza: Primogenito di Ismaele fu Nebaiòt; altri suoi figli: Kedàr, Adbeèl, Mibsàm,
These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Mismà, Duma, Massa, Cadàd, Tema,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Ietur, Nafis e Kedma; questi furono discendenti di Ismaele.
Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
32 Figli di Keturà, concubina di Abramo: essa partorì Zimràn, Ioksàn, Medan, Madian, Isbak e Suach. Figli di Ioksàn: Saba e Dedan.
And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Figli di Madian: Efa, Efer, Enoch, Abibà ed Eldaà; tutti questi furono discendenti di Keturà.
And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
34 Abramo generò Isacco. Figli di Isacco: Esaù e Israele.
And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
35 Figli di Esaù: Elifàz, Reuèl, Ieus, Ialam e Core.
The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 Figli di Elifàz: Teman, Omar, Zefi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna e Amalek.
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Figli di Reuèl: Nacat, Zerach, Sammà e Mizza.
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 Figli di Seir: Lotàn, Sobàl, Zibeòn, Ana, Dison, Eser e Disan.
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Figli di Lotàn: Corì e Omàm. Sorella di Lotàn: Timna.
And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 Figli di Sobàl: Alvan, Manàcat, Ebal, Sefi e Onam. Figli di Zibeòn: Aia e Ana.
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 Figli di Ana: Dison. Figli di Dison: Camràn, Esban, Itràn e Cheràn.
The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Figli di Eser: Bilàn, Zaavàn, Iaakàn. Figli di Dison: Uz e Aran.
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
43 Ecco i re che regnarono nel paese di Edom, prima che gli Israeliti avessero un re: Bela, figlio di Beòr; la sua città si chiamava Dinàba.
And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
44 Morto Bela, divenne re al suo posto Iobàb, figlio di Zerach di Bozra.
Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Morto Iobàb, divenne re al suo posto Cusàm della regione dei Temaniti.
And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Morto Cusàm, divenne re al suo posto Hadàd figlio di Bedàd, il quale sconfisse i Madianiti nei campi di Moab; la sua città si chiamava Avit.
And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
47 Morto Hadàd, divenne re al suo posto Samlà di Masrekà.
So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
48 Morto Samlà, divenne re al suo posto Saul di Recobòt, sul fiume.
And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 Morto Saul, divenne re al suo posto Baal-Canàn, figlio di Acbòr.
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Morto Baal-Canàn, divenne re al suo posto Hadàd; la sua città si chiamava Pai; sua moglie si chiamava Mechetabèl, figlia di Matred, figlia di Mezaàb.
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Morto Hadàd, in Edom ci furono capi: il capo di Timna, il capo di Alva, il capo di Ietet,
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 il capo di Oolibamà, il capo di Ela, il capo di Pinon,
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 il capo di Kenaz, il capo di Teman, il capo di Mibzar,
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 il capo di Magdièl, il capo di Iram. Questi furono i capi di Edom.
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
