1 Chronik 9
1 Und das ganze Israel ward gerechnet, und siehe, sie sind angeschrieben im Buch der Könige Israels und Judas, und nun weggeführet gen Babel um ihrer Missetat willen,
So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and look, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
2 die zuvor wohneten auf ihren Gütern und Städten, nämlich Israel, Priester, Leviten und Nethinim.
Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 Aber zu Jerusalem wohneten etliche der Kinder Juda, etliche der Kinder Benjamin, etliche der Kinder Ephraim und Manasse.
In Jerusalem lived of the people of Judah, and of the people of Benjamin, and of the people of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Nämlich aus den Kindern Perez, des Sohns Judas, war Uthai, der Sohn Ammihuds, des Sohns Amris, des Sohns Imris, des, Sohns Banis.
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the descendants of Perez the son of Judah.
5 Von Siloni aber Asaja, der erste Sohn, und seine andern Söhne.
Of the Shelanites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 Von den Kindern Serahs: Jeguel und seine Brüder, sechshundertundneunzig.
Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
7 Von den Kindern Benjamin: Sallu, der Sohn Mesullams, des Sohns Hodawjas, des Sohns Hasnuas;
Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Judah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 und Jebneja, der Sohn Jerohams; und Ela, der Sohn Usis, des Sohns Michris; und Mesullam, der Sohn Sephatjas, des Sohns Reguels, des Sohns Jebnejas.
and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9 Dazu ihre Brüder in ihren Geschlechtern, neunhundertundsechsundfünfzig. Alle diese Männer waren Häupter der Väter im Hause ihrer Väter.
and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of ancestral houses by their fathers' houses.
10 Von den Priestern aber: Jedaja, Jojarib, Jachin;
Of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jakin,
11 und Asaria, der Sohn Hilkias, des Sohns Mesullams, des Sohns Zadoks, des Sohns Merajoths, des Sohns Ahitobs, ein Fürst im Hause Gottes;
and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12 und Adaja, der Sohn Jerohams, des Sohns Pashurs, des Sohns Malchias; und Maesai, der Sohn Adiels, des Sohns Jachseras, des Sohns Mesullams, des Sohns Mesillemiths, des Sohns Immers.
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 Dazu ihre Brüder, Häupter im Hause ihrer Väter, tausend siebenhundertundsechzig fleißige Leute am Geschäfte des Amts im Hause Gottes.
and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Von den Leviten aber aus den Kindern Meraris: Semaja, der Sohn Hasubs, des Sohns Asrikams, des Sohns Hasabjas.
Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 Und Bakbakar, der Zimmermann, und Galal und Mathanja, der Sohn Michas, des Sohns Sichris, des Sohns Assaphs.
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph,
16 Und Obadja, der Sohn Semajas, des Sohns Galals, des Sohns Jeduthuns; und Berechja, der Sohn Assas, des Sohns Elkanas, der in den Dörfern wohnete der Netophathiter.
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 Die Pförtner aber waren: Sallum, Akub, Talmon, Ahiman mit ihren Brüdern und Sallum, der Oberste.
The gatekeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
18 Denn bisher hatten am Tor des Königs gegen dem Aufgang gewartet die Kinder Levi mit Lagern.
who were previously stationed at the King's Gate on the east: they were the gatekeepers for the camp of the descendants of Levi.
19 Und Sallum, der Sohn Kores, des Sohns Abiassaphs, des Sohns Korahs, und seine Brüder aus dem Hause seines Vaters, die Korhiter am Geschäfte des Amts, daß sie warteten an der Schwelle der Hütte; und ihre Väter im Lager des HERRN, daß sie warteten des Eingangs.
Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry.
20 Pinehas aber, der Sohn Eleasars, war Fürst über sie, darum daß der HERR zuvor mit ihm gewesen war.
Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
21 Sacharja aber, der Sohn Meselemjas, war Hüter am Tor der Hütte des Stifts.
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Alle diese waren auserlesen zu Hütern an der Schwelle, zweihundertundzwölf, die waren gerechnet in ihren Dörfern. Und David und Samuel, der Seher, stifteten sie durch ihren Glauben,
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their office of trust.
23 daß sie und ihre Kinder hüten sollten am Hause des HERRN, nämlich an dem Hause der Hütte, daß sie sein warteten.
So they and their descendants had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tent, by wards.
24 Es waren aber solche Torwärter gegen die vier Winde gestellet: gegen Morgen, gegen Abend, gegen Mitternacht, gegen Mittag.
On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25 Ihre Brüder aber waren auf ihren Dörfern, daß sie hereinkämen, je des siebenten Tages, allezeit bei ihnen zu sein.
Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
26 Denn die Leviten waren diesen viererlei obersten Torhütern vertrauet, und sie waren über die Kasten und Schätze im Hause Gottes.
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
27 Auch blieben sie über Nacht um das Haus Gottes; denn es gebührete ihnen die Hut, daß sie alle Morgen auftäten.
They lodged around the house of God, because that duty was on them; and to them pertained its opening morning by morning.
28 Und etliche aus ihnen waren über das Geräte des Amts; denn sie trugen es gezählet aus und ein.
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.
29 Und ihrer etliche waren bestellet über die Gefäße und über alles heilige Geräte, über Semmelmehl, über Wein, über Öl, über Weihrauch über Räuchwerk.
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Aber der Priester Kinder machten etliche das Räuchwerk.
Some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.
31 Mathithja aus den Leviten, dem ersten Sohn Sallums, des Korhiters, waren vertrauet die Pfannen.
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32 Aus den Kahathitern aber, ihren Brüdern, waren über die Schaubrote zuzurichten, daß sie sie alle Sabbat bereiteten.
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33 Das sind die Sänger, die Häupter unter den Vätern der Leviten, über die Kasten ausgesondert; denn Tag und Nacht waren sie drob im Geschäfte.
These are the singers, heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, who lived in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.
34 Das sind die Häupter der Väter unter den Leviten in ihren Geschlechtern. Diese wohneten zu Jerusalem.
These were heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these lived at Jerusalem.
35 Zu Gibeon wohneten Jeiel, der Vater Gibeons, sein Weib hieß Maecha,
In Gibeon there lived the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah:
36 und sein erster Sohn Abdon, Zur, Kis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahjo, Sacharja, Mikloth.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Mikloth aber zeugete Simeam; und sie wohneten auch um ihre Brüder zu Jerusalem unter den Ihren.
Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.
39 Ner aber zeugete Kis. Kis zeugete Saul. Saul zeugete Jonathan, Malchisua, Abinadab, Esbaal.
Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malkishua, and Abinadab, and Ishbaal.
40 Der Sohn aber Jonathans war Meribaal. Meribaal aber zeugete Micha.
The son of Jonathan was Mippibaal; and Mippibaal became the father of Micah.
41 Die Kinder Michas waren: Pithon, Melech und Thaherea.
The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 Ahas zeugete Jaera. Jaera zeugete Alemeth, Asmaveth und Simri. Simri zeugete Moza.
And Ahaz became the father of Jadah; and Jadah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza;
43 Moza zeugete Binea; des Sohn war Raphaja; des Sohn war Eleasa; des Sohn war Azel.
and Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne, die hießen: Asrikam, Bochru, Jismael, Searja, Obadja, Hanan; das sind die Kinder Azels.
Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, his firstborn, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Azariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
