Exodus 12
1 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron in the lond of Egipt,
Og Herren tala so til Moses og Aron, medan dei var i Egyptarlandet:
2 This monethe, the bigynnyng of monethis to you, schal be the firste in the monethis of the yeer.
«Denne månaden skal vera nyårsmånaden dykkar: den fyrste månaden i året skal han vera for dykk.
3 Speke ye to al the cumpanye of the sones of Israel, and seie ye to hem, In the tenthe dai of this monethe ech man take a lomb by hise meynees and housis;
Tala no de til heile Israels-lyden og seg: «Den tiande dagen i denne månaden skal kvar husbonde taka seg ut eit lamb til huset sitt.
4 but if the noumbre is lesse, that it may not suffice to ete the lomb, he schal take his neiybore, which is ioyned to his hows, bi the noumbre of soulis, that moun suffice to the etyng of the lomb.
Men er lyden hans for liten til å eta upp eitt lamb, so skal han og næmaste grannen taka seg ut eit i hop, etter som dei hev folk til: de skal’kje rekna fleire folk på kvart lamb enn at alle fær metta seg.
5 Forsothe the lomb schal be a male of o yeer, without wem; bi which custom ye schulen take also a kide;
Eit lytelaust verlamb lyt det vera, og årsgamalt; i staden for eit lamb kann de og taka eit kid.
6 and ye schulen kepe hym til to the fouretenthe dai of this monethe; and al the multitude of the sones of Israel schal offre hym at euentid.
De skal taka det i vare til den fjortande dagen i denne månaden; då skal heile Israels-lyden slagta det soleglads bil.
7 And thei schulen take of his blood, and schulen put on euer either post, and in lyntels, `ether hiyer threschfoldis, of the housis, in whiche thei schulen ete hym;
So skal dei taka noko av blodet og strjuka på både dørskierne og dørkollen på dei husi som dei et i.
8 and in that niyt thei schulen ete fleischis, roostid with fier, and therf looues, with letusis of the feeld.
Og kjøtet skal dei eta same natti; dei skal steikja det på elden, og eta det med søtt brød og bitre urter attåt.
9 Ye schulen not ete therof ony raw thing, nether sodun in watir, but roostid oneli by fier; ye schulen deuoure the heed with feet and entrailis therof;
De må ikkje eta det rått, og ikkje sjoda det i vatn, men steikja det yver elden, med hovud og føter og innmat.
10 nether ony thing therof schal abide til the morewtid; if ony thing is residue, ye schulen brenne in the fier.
Heller ikkje skal de leiva noko av det til morgons; er det noko att um morgonen, so skal de brenna det upp.
11 Forsothe thus ye schulen ete hym; ye schulen girde youre reynes, and ye schulen haue schoon in the feet, and ye schulen holde stauys in hondis, and ye schulen ete hastili; for it is fase, that is, the passyng of the Lord.
Soleis skal de vera budde, når de et det: med beltet kring livet, med skorne på føterne, med stav i handi; og de skal eta det i hast; det er påskehelgi åt Herren.
12 And Y schal passe thorou the lond of Egipt in that niyt, and Y schal smyte al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro man til to beeste; and Y the Lord schal make domes in alle the goddis of Egipt.
For den same natti vil eg fara igjenom Egyptarlandet, og slå i hel alt som frumbore er i Egyptarland, både folk og fe; og alle egyptargudarne vil eg døma og refsa, eg, Herren.
13 Forsothe blood schal be to you in to signe, in the housis in whiche ye schulen be; and Y schal se the blood, and Y schal passe you; nether a wounde distriynge schal be in you, whanne Y schal smyte the lond of Egipt.
Og blodet på dei husi som de er i, skal vera til eit merke for meg, når eg ser blodet, skal eg fara framum dykk, og de skal’kje verta fyre noko vondt, når eg slær i hel folk i Egyptarland.
14 Forsothe ye schulen haue this dai in to mynde, and `ye schulen make it solempne to the Lord in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge worschipyng.
Og sidan skal denne dagen vera ein minnedag for dykk: då skal de halda helg og høgtid for Herren; ei æveleg lov skal det vera for dykk og etterkomarane dykkar å halda heilag den dagen.
15 In seuene daies ye schulen ete therf breed; in the firste dai no thing diyt with sour douy schal be in youre housis; who euer schal ete ony thing diyt with sour douy, fro the firste dai til the seuenthe dai, that soule schal perische fro Israel.
Sju dagar skal de eta søtt brød; straks den fyrste dagen skal de hava surdeigen burt or husi dykkar; for kvar den mann som et surbrød millom den fyrste og sjuande dagen, han skal rydjast ut or Israel.
16 The firste day schal be hooli and solempne, and the seuenthe dai schal be worschipful bi the same halewyng; ye schulen not do ony werk in tho daies, outakun these thingis that perteynen to mete;
Den fyrste dagen skal de halda ei heilag samling, og den sjuande dagen ei heilag samling. Dei dagarne skal de ikkje hava noko arbeid fyre dykk; berre den maten som kvar mann treng, skal de laga til og elles ingen ting gjera.
17 and ye schulen kepe therf breed. For in that same dai Y schal lede out of the lond of Egipt youre oost; and ye schulen kepe this dai in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge custom.
De skal høgtida søtebrødhelgi; for då førde eg herarne dykkar ut or Egyptarlandet. Difor skal de høgtida denne dagen; det skal vera ei æveleg lov for dykk og etterkomarane dykkar.
18 In the first monethe, in the fouretenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, ye schulen ete therf breed, til to the oon and twentithe dai of the same monethe at euentid.
Frå fjortandedags kvelden i den fyrste månaden til ein og tjugandedags kvelden i same månaden skal de eta brød som det ikkje er surt i.
19 In seuene dayes no thing `diyt with sour douy schal be foundun in youre housis; if ony etith ony thing diyt with sour dow, his soule schal perische fro the cumpeny of Israel, as wel of comelyngis, as of hem that ben borun in the lond.
I sju dagar må det ikkje finnast surdeig i husi dykkar: kvar den mann som et surbrød, skal rydjast ut or Israels-lyden, anten han er framand eller fødd og alen i landet.
20 Ye schulen not ete ony thing diyt with sour dow, and ye schulen ete therf breed in alle youre dwellyng placis.
De må ikkje smaka den minste grand som er syrt; i alle hus skal de eta usyrt brød!»»
21 Forsothe Moises clepide alle the eldre men of the sones of Israel, and seide to hem, Go ye, and take a beeste by youre meynees, and offre ye fase; and dippe ye a bundel of isope,
Då kalla Moses i hop alle dei øvste i Israel, og sagde med deim: «No lyt de av og finna dykk lamb åt husi dykkar, og slagta deim til påskeoffer.
22 in the blood which `is in the threisfold, and sprynge ye therof the lyntel, and euer either post; noon of you schal go out at the dore of his hows til the morewtid.
Og so skal de taka ein myntekvost og duppa i blodet som er i troget, og strjuka noko av det blodet på dørkollen og båe dørskierne. Og ingen av dykk må ganga ut or husdøri si fyre morgon.
23 For the Lord schal passe smytynge Egipcians; and whanne he schal se the blood in the lyntel, and in euer either post, he schal passe the dore of the hows; and he schal not suffre the smytere to entre in to youre housis, and to hirte.
For Herren vil fara igjenom landet og heimsøkja egyptarane; og når han ser blodet på dørkollen og på dørskierne, då skal han fara framum døri og ikkje lata tynarengelen sleppa inn i husi dykkar og drepa.
24 Kepe thou this word; it schal be a lawful thing to thee and to thi sones til in to with outen ende.
So skal de då halda dykk etter dette bodet; det skal vera ei lov for deg og borni dine i all æva.
25 And whanne ye schulen entre in to the lond which the Lord schal yyue to you, as he bihiyte, ye schulen kepe these cerymonyes;
Når de so kjem til det landet Herren vil gjeva dykk, som han hev lova, då skal de halda uppe denne helgeseden.
26 and whanne youre sones schulen seie to you, What is this religioun? ye schulen seie to hem,
Og når borni dykkar spør: «Kva er dette for ein helgesed de brukar?»
27 It is the sacrifice of the passyng of the Lord, whanne he passide ouer the housis of the sones of Israel in Egipt, and smoot Egipcians, and delyueride oure housis. And the puple was bowid, and worschipide.
då skal de svara: «Det er påskeoffer til Herren, som for utum husi åt Israels-folket i Egyptarland: då han heimsøkte egyptarane, sparde han våre hus.»» Då lagde folket seg på kne og bad.
28 And the sones of Israel yeden out, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and to Aaron.
Og Israels-mennerne gjekk av og gjorde dette; som Herren hadde sagt til Moses og Aron, so gjorde dei.
29 Forsothe it was doon in the myddis of the nyyt, the Lord smoot al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro the firste gendrid of Farao, that sat in the trone of hym, til to the first gendrid of the caitif womman, that was in the prisoun, and alle the first gendrid of beestis.
So hende det i midnattsstundi at Herren slo i hel alt som frumbore var i Egyptarlandet, frå den frumborne sonen åt Farao, som sat i høgsetet sitt, til den frumborne sonen åt fangen, som sat i myrkestova, og alle frumsungarne i buskapen.
30 And Farao roos in the nyyt, and alle hise seruauntis, and al Egipt; and a greet cry was maad in Egipt, for noon hows was, in which a deed man lay not.
Då for Farao upp um natti, han og alle mennerne hans og alle egyptarane, og det vart eit øgjeleg skrik i Egyptarland; for det fanst ikkje eit hus som det ikkje var lik i.
31 And whanne Moises and Aaron weren clepid in the nyyt, Farao seide, Rise ye, go ye out fro my puple, bothe ye and the sones of Israel; go ye, offre ye to the Lord, as ye seien;
Og Farao sende bod etter Moses og Aron midt på natti og sagde: «Nøyt dykk og far ut or riket mitt, både de og Israels-folket, og gakk av og haldt høgtid for Herren, som de hev tala um!
32 take ye youre scheep and greete beestis, as ye axiden; and go ye, and blesse ye me.
Tak med dykk alt bufeet dykkar, både smått og stort, so som de hev sagt, og far burt, og bed godt for meg og!»
33 And Egipcians constreyneden the puple to go out of the lond swiftli, and seiden, All we schulen die!
Og egyptarane anna på Israels-folket at dei skulde hava seg fort utor landet. «Elles døyr me alle saman!» sagde dei.
34 Therfor the puple took meele spreynd togidere, bifor that it was diyt with sour douy; and boond in mentils, and puttide on her schuldris.
So tok Israels-folket deigen sin, fyrr han vart syrt: dei sveipte deigtrogi inn i kjolarne, og bar deim på ryggen.
35 And the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises; and thei axiden of Egipcians siluerne vesselis and goldun, and ful myche clooth.
Og dei gjorde som Moses sagde, og bad egyptarane um sylv og gull og helgeklæde.
36 Forsothe the Lord yaf grace to the puple bifor Egipcians, that the Egipcians lenten to hem; and thei maden bare Egipcians.
Og Herren hadde laga det so at egyptarane vilde Israels-folket vel, so dei var gode å beda. Soleis tok dei herfang av egyptarane.
37 And the sones of Israel yeden forth fro Ramasses in to Socoth, almest sixe hundrid thousind of foot men, with out litle children and wymmen;
So tok då Israels-folket ut frå Ramses, og lagde vegen til Sukkot; dei var på lag seks hundrad tusund gangføre mann, umfram kvende og born.
38 but also comyn puple of malis and femalis vnnoumbrable stieden with hem; scheep, and oxun, and ful many beestis of diuerse kynde, stieden with hem.
Og ein stor hop med framande fylgde og med deim, og mykje bufe, både smått og stort, ei ovstor drift.
39 And thei bakiden meele, which spreynd to gidere `a while ago thei token fro Egipt, and maden therf looues bakun vnder the aischis; for the looues miyten not be diyt with sour dow, for Egipcians compelliden to go out, and suffriden not to make ony tariyng, nether it was leiser to make ony seew.
Av deigen dei hadde med seg frå Egyptarland, baka dei hellekakor; for han var ikkje syrt, etter di dei vart jaga ut or Egyptarland og ikkje torde drygja der lenger; og ikkje hadde dei butt seg til med ferdakost heller.
40 Forsothe the dwellyng of the sones of Israel, bi which thei dwelliden in Egipt, was of foure hundrid and thretti yeer;
Den tidi som Israels-folket hadde havt bustaden sin i Egyptarland, var fire hundrad og tretti år.
41 and whanne tho weren fillid, al the oost of the Lord yede out of the lond of Egipt in the same dai.
Då dei fire hundrad og tretti åri var på dagen utlidne, då tok alle Herrens herar ut frå Egyptarland.
42 This nyyt is worthi to be kept in the worschipyng of the Lord, whanne he ladde hem out of the lond of Egipt; alle the sones of Israel owen to kepe this in her generaciouns.
Den natti var ei vokenatt for Herren, då han fylgde deim ut or Egyptarlandet; den same natti skal alle Israels-borni halda voka for Herren, ætt etter ætt.
43 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron, This is the religioun of fase; ech alien schal not ete therof;
Og Herren sagde til Moses og Aron: «So er fyresegni um påskelambet: Ingen framand må eta av det.
44 sotheli ech seruaunt bouyt schal be circumcidid, and so he schal ete;
Hev nokon ein tenestdreng som er kjøpt for pengar, so skal du fyrst umskjera honom; sidan kann han eta av det.
45 a comelyng and hirid man schulen not ete therof;
Ingen busete eller leigekar må eta av det.
46 it schal be etun in oon hows; nether ye schulen bere out of the fleischis therof; nether ye schulen breke a boon therof.
I eitt hus skal det eta av det; du må ikkje hava noko av kjøtet ut or huset, og ikkje brjota noko bein i det.
47 Ech company of the sones of Israel schal make that fase;
So skal heile Israels-lyden gjera.
48 that if ony pilgrym wole passe into youre feith and worschipyng, and make fase of the Lord, ech male kynde of hym schal be circumcidid bifore, and thanne he schal make lawfuli, and he schal be to gidere as a man borun of the lond; forsothe if ony man is not circumcidid, he schal not ete therof.
Og når ein framand held til hjå dykk, og vil halda påskehøgtid for Herren, då skal alle karfolki hans umskjerast, so kann han få vera med og halda høgtid, og då skal han vera jamgod med deim som er fødde og alne i landet; men ein som ikkje er umskoren, må aldri eta av det.
49 The same lawe schal be to a man borun of the lond, and to a comelyng, that takith youre feith, which is a pilgrym anentis you.
Det skal gjelda same lovi for deim som er fødde og alne i landet og for dei framande som held til hjå dykk.»
50 And alle the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and Aaron.
Og alt Israels-folket gjorde dette; som Herren hadde sagt til Moses og Aron, so gjorde dei.
51 And in the same dai the Lord ladde out of `the lond of Egipt the sones of Israel, bi her cumpanies.
Soleis gjekk det til den dagen då Herren fylgde Israels-folket ut or Egyptarland, fylking etter fylking.
