Psalms 146

1 Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.

Alaba, o! alma mía, a Jehová.

2 While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

Alabaré a Jehová en mi vida: diré salmos a mi Dios mientras viviere.

3 Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.

No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre; porque no hay en él salud.

4 His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

Saldrá su espíritu, volverse ha el hombre en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.

5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God,

Bienaventurado aquel cuyo ayudador es el Dios de Jacob: cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios.

6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

El que hizo los cielos y la tierra: la mar, y todo lo que en ello está: el que guarda verdad para siempre:

7 who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.

El que hace derecho a los agraviados, el que da pan a los hambrientos: Jehová el que suelta a los aprisionados:

8 Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

Jehová es el que abre los ojos a los ciegos: Jehová el que ama a los justos:

9 Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.

Jehová el que guarda a los extranjeros: al huérfano y a la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.

10 Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!

Reinará Jehová para siempre: tu Dios, o! Sión, por generación y generación. Alelu- Jah.
