Ephesians 4
1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
อโต พนฺทิรหํ ปฺรโภ รฺนามฺนา ยุษฺมานฺ วินเย ยูยํ เยนาหฺวาเนนาหูตาสฺตทุปยุกฺตรูเปณ
2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
สรฺวฺวถา นมฺรตำ มฺฤทุตำ ติติกฺษำ ปรสฺปรํ ปฺรมฺนา สหิษฺณุตาญฺจาจรตฯ
3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
ปฺรณยพนฺธเนน จาตฺมน เอกฺยํ รกฺษิตุํ ยตธฺวํฯ
4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,
ยูยมฺ เอกศรีรา เอกาตฺมานศฺจ ตทฺวทฺ อาหฺวาเนน ยูยมฺ เอกปฺรตฺยาศาปฺราปฺตเย สมาหูตา: ฯ
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
ยุษฺมากมฺ เอก: ปฺรภุเรโก วิศฺวาส เอกํ มชฺชนํ, สรฺเวฺวษำ ตาต:
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.
สรฺโวฺวปริสฺถ: สรฺวฺววฺยาปี สรฺเวฺวษำ ยุษฺมากํ มธฺยวรฺตฺตี ไจก อีศฺวร อาเสฺตฯ
7 But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
กินฺตุ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ทานปริมาณานุสาราทฺ อสฺมากมฺ เอไกกไสฺม วิเศโษ วโร'ทายิฯ
8 Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”
ยถา ลิขิตมฺ อาเสฺต, "อูรฺทฺธฺวมฺ อารุหฺย เชตฺฤนฺ ส วิชิตฺย พนฺทิโน'กโรตฺฯ ตต: ส มนุเชโภฺย'ปิ สฺวียานฺ วฺยศฺราณยทฺ วรานฺ๚ "
9 Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
อูรฺทฺธฺวมฺ อารุเหฺยติวากฺยสฺยายมรฺถ: ส ปูรฺวฺวํ ปฺฤถิวีรูปํ สรฺวฺวาธ: สฺถิตํ สฺถานมฺ อวตีรฺณวานฺ;
10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
ยศฺจาวตีรฺณวานฺ ส เอว สฺวรฺคาณามฺ อุปรฺยฺยุปรฺยฺยารูฒวานฺ ยต: สรฺวฺวาณิ เตน ปูรยิตวฺยานิฯ
11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
ส เอว จ กำศฺจน เปฺรริตานฺ อปรานฺ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิโน'ปรานฺ สุสํวาทปฺรจารกานฺ อปรานฺ ปาลกานฺ อุปเทศกำศฺจ นิยุกฺตวานฺฯ
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,
ยาวทฺ วยํ สรฺเวฺว วิศฺวาสเสฺยศฺวรปุตฺรวิษยกสฺย ตตฺตฺวชฺญานสฺย ไจกฺยํ สมฺปูรฺณํ ปุรุษรฺถญฺจารฺถต: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย สมฺปูรฺณปริมาณสฺย สมํ ปริมาณํ น ปฺราปฺนุมสฺตาวตฺ
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
ส ปริจรฺยฺยากรฺมฺมสาธนาย ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ศรีรสฺย นิษฺฐาไย จ ปวิตฺรโลกานำ สิทฺธตายาสฺตาทฺฤศมฺ อุปายํ นิศฺจิตวานฺฯ
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
อเตอว มานุษาณำ จาตุรีโต ภฺรมกธูรฺตฺตตายาศฺฉลาจฺจ ชาเตน สรฺเวฺวณ ศิกฺษาวายุนา วยํ ยทฺ พาลกา อิว โทลายมานา น ภฺรามฺยาม อิตฺยสฺมาภิ รฺยติตวฺยํ,
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,
เปฺรมฺนา สตฺยตามฺ อาจรทฺภิ: สรฺวฺววิษเย ขฺรีษฺฏมฺ อุทฺทิศฺย วรฺทฺธิตวฺยญฺจ, ยต: ส มูรฺทฺธา,
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
ตสฺมาจฺไจไกกสฺยางฺคสฺย สฺวสฺวปริมาณานุสาเรณ สาหายฺยกรณาทฺ อุปการไก: สรฺไวฺว: สนฺธิภิ: กฺฤตฺสฺนสฺย ศรีรสฺย สํโยเค สมฺมิลเน จ ชาเต เปฺรมฺนา นิษฺฐำ ลภมานํ กฺฤตฺสฺนํ ศรีรํ วฺฤทฺธึ ปฺราปฺโนติฯ
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
ยุษฺมานฺ อหํ ปฺรภุเนทํ พฺรวีมฺยาทิศามิ จ, อเนฺย ภินฺนชาตียา อิว ยูยํ ปูน รฺมาจรตฯ
18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.
ยตเสฺต สฺวมโนมายามฺ อาจรนฺตฺยานฺตริกาชฺญานาตฺ มานสิกกาฐินฺยาจฺจ ติมิราวฺฤตพุทฺธย อีศฺวรียชีวนสฺย พคีรฺภูตาศฺจ ภวนฺติ,
19 They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
สฺวานฺ ไจตนฺยศูนฺยานฺ กฺฤตฺวา จ โลเภน สรฺวฺววิธาเศาจาจรณาย ลมฺปฏตายำ สฺวานฺ สมรฺปิตวนฺต: ฯ
20 But you didn’t learn Christ that way,
กินฺตุ ยูยํ ขฺรีษฺฏํ น ตาทฺฤศํ ปริจิตวนฺต: ,
21 if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:
ยโต ยูยํ ตํ ศฺรุตวนฺโต ยา สตฺยา ศิกฺษา ยีศุโต ลภฺยา ตทนุสาราตฺ ตทีโยปเทศํ ปฺราปฺตวนฺตศฺเจติ มเนฺยฯ
22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
ตสฺมาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวกาลิกาจารการี ย: ปุราตนปุรุโษ มายาภิลาไษ รฺนศฺยติ ตํ ตฺยกฺตฺวา ยุษฺมาภิ รฺมานสิกภาโว นูตนีกรฺตฺตวฺย: ,
23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
โย นวปุรุษ อีศฺวรานุรูเปณ ปุเณฺยน สตฺยตาสหิเตน
24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
ธารฺมฺมิกเตฺวน จ สฺฤษฺฏ: ส เอว ปริธาตวฺยศฺจฯ
25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
อโต ยูยํ สรฺเวฺว มิถฺยากถนํ ปริตฺยชฺย สมีปวาสิภิ: สห สตฺยาลาปํ กุรุต ยโต วยํ ปรสฺปรมฺ องฺคปฺรตฺยงฺคา ภวาม: ฯ
26 “Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,
อปรํ โกฺรเธ ชาเต ปาปํ มา กุรุธฺวมฺ, อศานฺเต ยุษฺมากํ โรเษสูรฺโยฺย'สฺตํ น คจฺฉตุฯ
27 and don’t give place to the devil.
อปรํ ศยตาเน สฺถานํ มา ทตฺตฯ
28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
โจร: ปุนศฺไจรฺยฺยํ น กโรตุ กินฺตุ ทีนาย ทาเน สามรฺถฺยํ ยชฺชายเต ตทรฺถํ สฺวกราภฺยำ สทฺวฺฤตฺตฺยา ปริศฺรมํ กโรตุฯ
29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
อปรํ ยุษฺมากํ วทเนภฺย: โก'ปิ กทาลาโป น นิรฺคจฺฉตุ, กินฺตุ เยน โศฺรตุรุปกาโร ชายเต ตาทฺฤศ: ปฺรโยชนียนิษฺฐาไย ผลทายก อาลาโป ยุษฺมากํ ภวตุฯ
30 Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
อปรญฺจ ยูยํ มุกฺติทินปรฺยฺยนฺตมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย เยน ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา มุทฺรยางฺกิตา อภวต ตํ โศกานฺวิตํ มา กุรุตฯ
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.
อปรํ กฏุวากฺยํ โรษ: โกษ: กลโห นินฺทา สรฺวฺววิธเทฺวษศฺไจตานิ ยุษฺมากํ มธฺยาทฺ ทูรีภวนฺตุฯ
32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
ยูยํ ปรสฺปรํ หิไตษิณ: โกมลานฺต: กรณาศฺจ ภวตฯ อปรมฺ อีศฺวร: ขฺรีษฺเฏน ยทฺวทฺ ยุษฺมากํ โทษานฺ กฺษมิตวานฺ ตทฺวทฺ ยูยมปิ ปรสฺปรํ กฺษมธฺวํฯ
