Psalms 41

1 To the choirmaster a psalm of David. How blessed! [is one who] considers [the] poor in a day of trouble he will deliver him Yahweh.

Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. Heureux celui qui s’intéresse au pauvre! Au jour du malheur l’Éternel le délivre;

2 Yahweh - he will keep him and he will preserve alive him (and he will be called blessed *QK) in the land and may not you give him in [the] desire of enemies his.

L’Éternel le garde et lui conserve la vie. Il est heureux sur la terre, Et tu ne le livres pas au bon plaisir de ses ennemis.

3 Yahweh he will sustain him on a couch of illness all bed his you have changed in sickness his.

L’Éternel le soutient sur son lit de douleur; Tu le soulages dans toutes ses maladies.

4 I I said O Yahweh show favor to me heal! self my for I have sinned to you.

Je dis: Éternel, aie pitié de moi! Guéris mon âme! Car j’ai péché contre toi.

5 Enemies my they speak evil of me when? will he die and will it perish? name his.

Mes ennemis disent méchamment de moi: Quand mourra-t-il? Quand périra son nom?

6 And if someone came to see - falsehood it speaks heart his it gathers wickedness for itself he goes out to the outside he speaks.

Si quelqu’un vient me voir, il prend un langage faux, Il recueille des sujets de médire; Il s’en va, et il parle au-dehors.

7 Together on me they whisper to one another all [those who] hate me on me - they plot trouble for me.

Tous mes ennemis chuchotent entre eux contre moi; Ils pensent que mon malheur causera ma ruine:

8 A thing of worthlessness [has been] poured out on him and [the one] who he lay down not he will repeat to rise.

Il est dangereusement atteint, Le voilà couché, il ne se relèvera pas!

9 Also a person of peace my - whom I trusted in him [who] ate food my he has made great on me a heel.

Celui-là même avec qui j’étais en paix, Qui avait ma confiance et qui mangeait mon pain, Lève le talon contre moi.

10 And you O Yahweh show favor to me and raise up me so let me repay to them.

Toi, Éternel, aie pitié de moi et rétablis-moi! Et je leur rendrai ce qui leur est dû.

11 By this I know that you delight in me that not he shouts in triumph enemy my over me.

Je connaîtrai que tu m’aimes, Si mon ennemi ne triomphe pas de moi.

12 And I in integrity my you have supported me and you have set me before you for ever.

Tu m’as soutenu à cause de mon intégrité, Et tu m’as placé pour toujours en ta présence.

13 [be] blessed Yahweh - [the] God of Israel from antiquity and until perpetuity amen - and amen.

Béni soit l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël, d’éternité en éternité! Amen! Amen!
