1 Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel struck, and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the Valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward:

Estes pois são os reis da terra, aos quais os filhos de Israel feriram e possuiram a sua terra de além do Jordão ao nascente do sol: desde o ribeiro de Arnon, até ao monte de Hermon, e toda a planície do oriente.

2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, the border of the people of Ammon;

Sehon, rei dos amorreus, que habitava em Hesbon e que senhoreava desde Aroer, que está à borda do ribeiro de Arnon, e desde o meio do ribeiro, e desde a metade de Gilead, e até ao ribeiro de Jabbok, o termo dos filhos de Ammon;

3 and the Arabah to the sea of Kinnereth, eastward, and to the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth Jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah:

E desde a campina até ao mar de Cinneroth para o oriente, e até ao mar da campina, o mar salgado para o oriente, pelo caminho de Beth-jesimoth: e desde o sul abaixo de Asdoth-Pisga.

4 and the border of Og king of Bashan, of the remnant of the Rephaim, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

Como também o termo de Og, rei de Basan, que era do resto dos gigantes, e que habitava em Astaroth e em Edrei;

5 and ruled in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, as far as the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

E senhoreava no monte Hermon, e em Salcha, e em toda a Basan, até ao termo dos gesureus e dos maacateus, e metade de Gilead, termo de Sehon, rei de Hesbon.

6 Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel struck them. Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

A estes Moisés, servo do Senhor, e os filhos de Israel feriram: e Moisés, servo do Senhor, deu esta terra aos rubenitas, e aos gaditas, e à meia tribo de Manasseh em possessão.

7 These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon even to Mount Halak, that goes up to Seir. Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;

E estes são os reis da terra aos quais feriu Josué e os filhos de Israel de aquém do Jordão para o ocidente, desde Baal-gad, no vale do líbano, até ao monte calvo, que sobe a Seir: e Josué a deu às tribos de Israel em possessão, segundo as suas divisões;

8 in the hill country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the Negev; the Hethite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

O que havia nas montanhas, e nas planícies, e nas campinas, e nas descidas das águas, e no deserto, e para o sul: o heteu, o amorreu, e o Cananeo, o pherezeu, o heveu, e o jebuseu.

9 the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

O rei de Jericó, um; o rei de Ai, que está ao lado de Bethel, outro;

10 the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

O rei de Jerusalém, outro; o rei de Hebron, outro;

11 the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

O rei de Jarmuth, outro; o rei de Lachis, outro;

12 the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

O rei de Eglon, outro; o rei de Geser, outro;

13 the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

O rei de Debir, outro; o rei de Geder, outro;

14 the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

O rei de Horma, outro; o rei de Harad, outro;
