Joshua 13
1 Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years. Jehovah said to him, "You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.
Era, porém, Josué já velho, entrado em dias; e disse-lhe o Senhor: Já estás velho, entrado em dias; e ainda muitíssima terra ficou para possuir.
2 This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;
A terra que fica de resto é esta: todos os termos dos philisteus, e toda a Gesuri;
3 from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,
Desde Sihor, que está defronte do Egito, até ao termo de Ekron para o norte, que se conta ser dos cananeus: cinco príncipes dos philisteus, o gazeu, e o asdodeu, o ascalonita, o getheu, e o ekroneu, e os aveus;
4 on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and from Arah that belongs to the Sidonians to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;
Desde o sul, toda a terra dos cananeus, e Meara, que é dos sidôneos; até Aphek: até ao termo dos amorreus;
5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath;
Como também a terra dos gibleus, e todo o líbano para o nascente do sol, desde Baal-gad, ao pé do monte Hermon, até à entrada de Hamath;
6 all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only you allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.
Todos os que habitam nas montanhas desde o líbano até Misrephoth-main, todos os sidôneos; eu os lançarei de diante dos filhos de Israel: tão somente faze que a terra caia a Israel em sorte por herança, como já to tenho mandado.
7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh: from the Jordan as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun, you are to give it; the Great Sea will be the boundary.
Reparte pois agora esta terra por herança às nove tribos e à meia tribo de Manasseh;
8 But to the two tribes and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, with him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:
Com quem os rubenitas e os gaditas já receberam a sua herança; a qual lhes deu Moisés de além do Jordão para o oriente; como já lhes tinha dado Moisés, servo do Senhor,
9 from Aroer, that is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;
Desde Aroer, que está à borda do ribeiro de Arnon, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina de Medeba até Dibon;
10 and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the people of Ammon;
E todas as cidades de Sehon, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbon, até ao termo dos filhos de Ammon;
11 and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;
E Gilead, e o termo dos gesureus, e dos maacateus, e todo o monte Hermon, e toda a Basan até Salcha:
12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.
Todo o reino de Og em Basan, que reinou em Astaroth e em Edrei; este ficou do resto dos gigantes que Moisés feriu e expeliu.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.
Porém os filhos de Israel não expeliram os gesureus, nem os maacateus; antes Gesur e Maacath habitaram no meio de Israel até ao dia de hoje.
14 Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.
Tão somente à tribo de Levi não deu herança: os sacrifícios queimados do Senhor Deus de Israel são a sua herança, como já lhe tinha dito.
15 Moses gave to the tribe of the descendants of Reuben according to their families.
Assim Moisés deu à tribo dos filhos de Ruben, conforme as suas famílias.
16 Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;
E foi o seu termo desde Aroer, que está à borda do ribeiro de Arnon, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina até Medeba;
17 Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,
Hesbon e todas as suas cidades, que estão na campina: Dibon, e Bamoth-baal, e Beth-baal-meon;
18 Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,
E Jahsa, e Kedemoth, e Mephaat;
19 Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley,
E Kiriathaim, e Sibma, e Zereth, e Hassahar, no monte do vale;
20 Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,
E Beth-peor, e Asdoth-pisga, e Beth-jesimoth;
21 all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.
E todas as cidades da campina, e todo o reino de Sehon, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbon, a quem Moisés feriu, como também aos príncipes de Midian, Evi, e Rekem, e Sur, e Hur, e Reba, príncipes de Sehon, moradores da terra.
22 The children of Israel also killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain.
Também os filhos de Israel mataram à espada a Balaão, filho de Beor, o adivinho, como os mais que por eles foram mortos.
23 The border of the descendants of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the descendants of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.
E foi o termo dos filhos de Ruben o Jordão e o seu termo; esta é a herança dos filhos de Ruben, segundo as suas famílias, as cidades, e as suas aldeias.
24 Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the descendants of Gad, according to their families.
E deu Moisés à tribo de Gad, aos filhos de Gad, segundo as suas famílias.
25 Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the people of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah;
E foi o seu termo Jaezer, e todas as cidades de Gilead, e metade da terra dos filhos de Ammon, até Aroer, que está defronte de Rabba;
26 and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;
E desde Hesbon até Ramath-mispe, e Bethonim: e desde Mahanaim até ao termo de Debir;
27 and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan's bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Kinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.
E no vale Beth-aram, e Beth-nimra, e Succoth, e Saphon, que ficara do resto do reino do rei de Sehon em Hesbon, o Jordão e o seu termo, até à extremidade do mar de Cinnereth de além do Jordão para o oriente.
28 This is the inheritance of the descendants of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages.
Esta é a herança dos filhos de Gad, segundo as suas famílias, as cidades e as suas aldeias.
29 Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the descendants of Manasseh according to their families.
Deu também Moisés herança à meia tribo de Manasseh, que ficou à meia tribo dos filhos de Manasseh, segundo as suas famílias,
30 Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.
De maneira que o seu termo foi desde Mahanaim, todo o Basan, todo o reino de Og, rei de Basan, e todas as aldeias de Jair, que estão em Basan, sessenta cidades,
31 Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the descendants of Makir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the descendants of Makir according to their families.
E metade de Gilead, e Astaroth, e Edrei, cidades do reino de Og, em Basan, aos filhos de Machir, filho de Manasseh, a saber, à metade dos filhos de Machir, segundo as suas famílias.
32 These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.
Isto é o que Moisés repartiu em herança nas campinas de Moab, de além do Jordão de Jericó para o oriente.
33 But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance. Jehovah, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.
Porém à tribo de Levi Moisés não deu herança: o Senhor Deus de Israel é a sua herança, como já lhe tinha dito.
