Revelation 5
1 Then I saw lying upon the right hand of Him who sat upon the throne, a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.
Und ich sah auf der rechten Hand dessen, der auf dem Throne saß, ein Buch, innen und auf der Rückseite beschrieben, mit sieben Siegeln versiegelt.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals."
Und ich sah einen gewaltigen Engel, der verkündete mit lauter Stimme: wer ist würdig zu öffnen das Buch und zu lösen seine Siegel?
3 And no one in the heavens or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it.
Und niemand vermochte es, weder im Himmel, noch auf der Erde, noch unter der Erde, das Buch zu öffnen noch hineinzusehen.
4 so I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look into it.
Und ich weinte sehr, daß niemand würdig befunden ward, das Buch zu öffnen noch hineinzusehen.
5 But one of the Elders said to me. "Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, and so can open the book with its seven seals."
Und einer von den Aeltesten sagt zu mir: weine nicht, siehe der Löwe aus dem Stamm Juda, die Wurzel David, hat überwunden, um zu öffnen das Buch und seine sieben Siegel.
6 Then I beheld a Lamb standing as if slain in the midst of the throne and of the four Living Creatures, and in the midst of the Elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes (which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth).
Und ich sah inmitten des Thrones und der vier Tiere und der Aeltesten ein Lamm stehen als wie geschlachtet, mit sieben Hörnern und sieben Augen, das sind die sieben Geister Gottes, ausgesandt auf die ganze Erde;
7 And he went, and now he has taken the book out of the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne.
und es trat herzu und empfieng es aus der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Throne saß.
8 When he took the book, the four Living Creatures and the four and twenty Elders fell down before the Lamb. And each had a harp and a golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Und wie es das Buch nahm, fielen die vier Tiere und die vierundzwanzig Aeltesten nieder vor dem Lamm; jeder hatte eine Cither und goldene Schalen voll Weihrauch, das sind die Gebete der Heiligen.
9 And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the book And to open its seals; For thou wast slain and didst ransom for God Men out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation;
Und sie singen ein neues Lied, also: Würdig bist du zu nehmen das Buch und zu öffnen seine Siegel; denn du wardst geschlachtet und hast für Gott erkauft durch dein Blut solche von jedem Stamm und Sprache und Volk und Nation,
10 Thou hast made them kings and priests unto our God, And they shall reign on earth."
und hast sie unserem Gott gemacht zu einem Königtum und zu Priestern, und sie werden herrschen auf der Erde.
11 Then I looked and heard a voice of many angels encircling the throne and a voice of the Living Creatures and of the Elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
Und ich sah und hörte wie eine Stimme von vielen Engeln rings um den Thron und von den Tieren und den Aeltesten, und ihre Zahl war zehntausendmal Zehntausende und tausendmal Tausende,
12 singing aloud, "Worthy is the Lamb who has been slain, To receive power and riches and wisdom And might and honor and glory and blessing."
die riefen laut: Würdig ist das Lamm, das geschlachtet ist, zu nehmen Gewalt und Reichtum und Weisheit und Stärke und Ehre und Preis und Segen.
13 And I heard every created thing that is in heaven, or on earth, or beneath the earth, or on the sea, and all things that are in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, Be the blessing and the honor, And the glory and the power, Forever and ever!" (aiōn g165)
Und alle Geschöpfe im Himmel und auf der Erde und unter der Erde und auf dem Meere, alles was darin ist, hörte ich sagen: Dem, der da sitzt auf dem Thron, und dem Lamm Segen und Ehre und Preis und Herrschaft in alle Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
14 And the four Living Creatures kept saying, "Amen!" And the Elders fell down and worshiped.
Und die vier Tiere sprachen: Amen. Und die Aeltesten fielen nieder und beteten an.
