Deuteronomy 33
1 And this [is] the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
Und dies ist der Segen, mit dem Mose, der Mann Gottes, die Söhne Israels vor seinem Tode segnete.
2 And he said, The Lord is come from Sina, and has appeared from Seir to us, and has hasted out of the mount of Pharan, with the ten thousands of Cades; on his right hand [were] his angels with him.
Und er sprach: Jehovah ist von Sinai gekommen und von Seir ihnen aufgegangen; Er strahlte vom Berge Paran und ist hergekommen von den Zehntausenden der Heiligkeit, von Seiner Rechten haben sie das Feuer des Gesetzes.
3 And he spared his people, and all his sanctified ones [are] under your hands; and they are under you; and he received of his words
Auch hat Er die Völker lieb. Alle Seine Heiligen sind in deiner Hand und sie sind hingelagert zu Deinen Füßen, und Er wird aufnehmen von Deinen Worten.
4 the law which Moses charged us, an inheritance to the assemblies of Jacob.
Ein Gesetz hat für uns Mose geboten, als Erbbesitz der Versammlung Jakobs.
5 And he shall be prince with the beloved one, when the princes of the people are gathered together with the tribes of Israel.
Und Er ist König in Jeschurun, da sich die Häupter des Volkes versammeln, Israels Stämme allzumal.
6 Let Ruben live, and not die; and let him be many in number.
Ruben soll leben und nicht sterben, aber seiner Leute wird eine Zahl sein.
7 And this [is the blessing] of Juda; Hear, Lord, the voice of Juda, and do you visit his people: his hands shall contend for him, and you shall be a help from his enemies.
Und dies für Judah; und er sprach: Höre, Jehovah, die Stimme Judahs, daß Du ihn zu seinem Volke hineinbringst. Laß ihm seiner Hände viel sein und sei ihm ein Beistand wider seine Dränger.
8 And to Levi he said, Give to Levi his manifestations, and his truth to the holy man, whom they tempted in the temptation; they reviled him at the water of strife.
Und über Levi sprach er: Deine Thummim und deine Urim gehören dem heiligen Mann, Den du versuchtest in Massah, mit Dem du hadertest an den Haderwassern.
9 Who says to his father and mother, I have not seen you; and he knew not his brethren, and he refused to know his sons: he kept your oracles, and observed your covenant.
Der zu seinem Vater und zu seiner Mutter spricht: Ich habe ihn nicht gesehen; und seine Brüder erkennt er nicht an, und kennt nicht seine Söhne; denn sie halten Deine Rede und bewahren Deinen Bund.
10 They shall declare your ordinances to Jacob, and your law to Israel: they shall place incense in [the time of] your wrath continually upon your altar.
Sie werden Jakob Deine Rechte weisen und Israel Dein Gesetz; sie werden Räuchwerk vor Deine Nase bringen und ganze Opfer auf Deinen Altar.
11 Bless, Lord, his strength, and accept the works of his hands; break the loins of his enemies that have risen up against him, and let not them that hate him rise up.
Segne, Jehovah, sein Vermögen, und laß das Werk seiner Hände Dir wohlgefallen! Zerschmettere die Lenden derer, die wider ihn aufstehen und die ihn hassen, daß sie nimmer stehen auf.
12 And to Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in confidence, and God overshadows him always, and he rested between his shoulders.
Von Benjamin sprach er: Der Liebling Jehovahs wird in Sicherheit wohnen bei Ihm. Er wird ihn schützen den ganzen Tag, und zwischen Seinen Schultern wohnt er.
13 And to Joseph he said, His land [is] of the blessing of the Lord, of the seasons of sky and dew, and of the deeps of wells below,
Und von Joseph sprach er: Gesegnet von Jehovah sei sein Land von des Himmels Köstlichstem, vom Tau und von der Tiefe, die unten lagert,
14 and of the fruits of the changes of the sun in season, and of the produce of the months,
Mit dem köstlichsten Ertrage der Sonne und mit dem Köstlichsten, das die Monde hervortreiben,
15 from the top of the ancient mountains, and from the top of the everlasting hills,
Und mit den Erstlingen der Berge des Ostens und dem Köstlichsten der Hügel der Ewigkeit,
16 and of the fullness of the land in season: and let the things pleasing to him that lived in the bush come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown [of him who was] glorified above his brethren.
Und von der Erde Köstlichstem und ihrer Fülle und das Wohlgefallen dessen, Der im Dornbusch wohnte. Es komme auf Josephs Haupt und auf den Scheitel des Nasiräers seiner Brüder.
17 His beauty [is as] the firstling of his bull, his horns [are] the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these [are] the thousands of Manasse.
Dem Erstgeborenen seines Ochsen sei Ehre, und Einhorns Hörner seien seine Hörner; er stößt damit die Völker allzumal bis an der Erde Enden. Und sie sind Ephraims Zehntausende, und sie sind Menaschehs Tausende.
18 And to Zabulon he said, Rejoice, Zabulon, in your going out, and Issachar in his tents.
Und zu Sebulun sprach er: Sei fröhlich, Sebulun, in deinem Ausgang und du Issaschar, in deinen Zelten.
19 They shall utterly destroy the nations, and you shall call [men] there, and there offer the sacrifice of righteousness; for the wealth of the sea shall suckle you, and so shall the marts of them that dwell by the sea-coast.
Völker werden auf den Berg sie rufen, dort werden Opfer der Gerechtigkeit sie opfern, weil des Meeres Überfluß sie saugen und die im Sand verborgenen Schätze.
20 And to Gad he said, Blessed [be] he that enlarges Gad: as a lion he rested, having broken the arm and the ruler.
Und von Gad sprach er: Gesegnet sei, der Gad erweitert. Wie ein alter Löwe liegt er hin und zerfleischt Arm und Schädel.
21 And he saw his first fruits, that there the land of the princes gathered with the chiefs of the people was divided; the Lord wrought righteousness, and his judgement with Israel.
Den Erstling ersah er sich; denn allda war der Teil des verborgenen Gesetzgebers: und es kamen her die Häupter des Volkes: er übte die Gerechtigkeit Jehovahs und Seine Rechte mit Israel.
22 And to Dan he said, Dan [is] a lion's whelp, and shall leap out of Basan.
Und von Dan sprach er: Dan ist das Junge eines Löwen, aus Baschan springt er hervor.
23 And to Nephthali he said, Nephthali [has] the fulness of good things; and let him be filled with blessing from the Lord: he shall inherit the west and the south.
Und von Naphthali sprach er: Gesättigt mit Wohlgefallen und voll des Segens von Jehovah ist Naphthali; das Meer und den Mittag wird er erblich besitzen.
24 And to Aser he said, Aser [is] blessed with children; and he shall be acceptable to his brethren: he shall dip his foot in oil.
Und von Ascher sprach er: Gesegnet vor den Söhnen ist Ascher. Er sei seiner Brüder Wohlgefallen; und er tauche in Öl seinen Fuß,
25 His sandal shall be iron and brass; as your days, so [shall be] your strength.
Eisen und Erz sind dein Schuh, und wie deine Tage, so dein Ruhm.
26 There is not [any such] as the God of the beloved; he who rides upon the heaven [is] your helper, and the magnificent One of the firmament.
Keiner ist wie der Gott Jeschuruns, Welcher fährt auf den Himmeln, dir beizustehen, und in Seiner Hoheit auf dem Wolkenhimmel.
27 And the rule of God shall protect you, and [that] under the strength of the everlasting arms; and he shall cast forth the enemy from before your face, saying, Perish.
Die Wohnstätte des Gottes der Vorzeit und unten die Arme der Welt. Er hat den Feind fortgetrieben vor dir und gesprochen: Vernichte.
28 And Israel shall dwell in confidence alone on the land of Jacob, with corn and wine; and the sky [shall be] misty with dew upon you.
Und Israel wird wohnen in Sicherheit, allein an Jakobs Quell, im Land des Korns und Mostes, auch werden seine Himmel Tau träufeln.
29 Blessed [are] you, O Israel; who [is] like to you, O people saved by the Lord? your helper shall hold his shield over you, and [his] sword [is] your boast; and your enemies shall speak falsely to you, and you shall tread upon their neck.
Glücklich bist du, Israel, wer ist wie du, ein Volk, gerettet in Jehovah, Der Schild deines Beistandes, und Der das Schwert ist deiner Hoheit. Und deine Feinde täuschen sich an dir und auf ihren Opferhöhen trittst du einher.
