1 Chronicles 6
1 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
OS filhos de Levi foram: Gerson, Kohath, e Merari.
2 And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 And the sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
E os filhos d'Amram: Aarão, e Moisés, e Miriam: e os filhos de Aarão: Nadab, e Abihu, e Eleazar, e Ithamar.
4 Eleazar was the father of Phinehas; Phinehas was the father of Abishua;

5 And Abishua was the father of Bukki, and Bukki was the father of Uzzi,

6 And Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth;

7 Meraioth was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

8 And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz,

9 And Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, and Azariah was the father of Johanan,

10 And Johanan was the father of Azariah, (he was priest in the house which Solomon put up in Jerusalem: )

11 And Azariah was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

13 And Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah,

14 And Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak;
E Azarias gerou a Seraias, e Seraias gerou a Josadak,
15 And Jehozadak went as a prisoner when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
E Josadak foi levado cativo quando o Senhor levou presos a Judá e a Jerusalém pela mão de Nabucodonozor.
16 The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
Os filhos de Levi foram pois Gersom, Kohath, e Merari.
17 And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Gersom: Libni e Simei.
18 And the sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
E os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Ishar, e Hebron, e Uzziel.
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites listed by the names of their fathers.

24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 Elkanah his son: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son, Samuel his son.

28 And the sons of Samuel: the oldest Joel, and the second Abiah.

29 The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 And these are those whom David made responsible for the music in the house of the Lord, after the ark had rest.
Estes são pois os que David constituiu para o ofício do canto na casa do Senhor, depois que a arca teve repouso.
32 They gave worship with songs before the House of the Tent of meeting, till Solomon put up the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they took their places for their work in their regular order.
E ministravam diante do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação com cantares, até que Salomão edificou a casa do Senhor em Jerusalém: e estiveram, segundo o seu costume, no seu ministério.
33 And these are those who did this work, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman, who made melody, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
Estes são pois os que ali estavam com seus filhos: dos filhos dos kohathitas, Heman, o cantor, filho de Joel, filho de Samuel,
34 The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

39 And his brother Asaph, whose place was at his right hand, Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

42 The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43 The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 And on the left their brothers, the sons of Merari: Ethan, the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,
Filho d'Amsi, filho de Bani, filho de Semer,
47 The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 And their brothers the Levites were responsible for all the work of the Tent of the house of God.
E seus irmãos, os levitas, foram postos para todo o ministério do tabernáculo da casa de Deus.
49 But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burned offering, and on the altar of perfume, for all the work of the most holy place, and to take away the sin of Israel, doing everything ordered by Moses, the servant of God.
E Aarão e seus filhos ofereceram sobre o altar do holocausto e sobre o altar do incenso, por toda a obra do lugar santíssimo, e para fazer expiação por Israel, conforme tudo quanto Moisés, servo de Deus, tinha ordenado.
50 And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

53 Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 Now these are their living-places, the limits inside which they were to put up their tents: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, because they had the first selection,
E estas foram as suas habitações, segundo os seus castelos, no seu termo, a saber: dos filhos de Aarão, da família dos kohathitas, porque neles caiu a sorte.
55 To them they gave Hebron and its outskirts in the land of Judah;
Deram-lhes pois a Hebron, na terra de Judá, e os seus arrabaldes que a rodeiam.
56 But the open country of the town, and the small places round it, they gave to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
Porém o território da cidade e as suas aldeias deram a Caleb, filho de Jefoné.
57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave Hebron, the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, and Libnah with its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its outskirts,
E aos filhos de Aarão deram as cidades de refúgio: Hebron, e Libna e os seus arrabaldes, e Jattir, e Esthemo e os seus arrabaldes,
58 And Hilen with its outskirts, Debir with its outskirts,
E Hilen e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir e os seus arrabaldes,
59 And Ashan with its outskirts, and Beth-shemesh with its outskirts;
E Asan e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-semes e os seus arrabaldes.
60 And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its outskirts, and Alemeth with its outskirts, and Anathoth with its outskirts. All their towns among their families were thirteen towns.
E da tribo de Benjamin, Geba e os seus arrabaldes, e Allemeth e os seus arrabaldes, e Anathoth e os seus arrabaldes: todas as suas cidades, pelas suas famílias, foram treze cidades.
61 And to the rest of the sons of Kohath there were given by the Lord's decision ten towns out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
Mas os filhos de Kohath, que restaram da família da tribo, da meia tribo, de meio Manassés, por sorte tiveram dez cidades.
62 And to the sons of Gershom, by their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen towns.
E os filhos de Gersom, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Issacar, e da tribo de Aser, e da tribo de Naphtali, e da tribo de Manassés, em Basan, tiveram treze cidades.
63 And to the sons of Merari, by their families, twelve towns were given by the Lord's decision, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
Os filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Ruben, e da tribo de Gad, e da tribo de Zebulon, por sorte, tiveram doze cidades.
64 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the towns with their outskirts.
Assim deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
65 And they gave by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these towns whose names are given.
E deram-lhes por sorte estas cidades, da tribo dos filhos de Judá, da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, e da tribo dos filhos de Benjamin, às quais deram os seus nomes.
66 And to the families of the sons of Kohath were given towns by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of Ephraim.
E quanto ao mais das famílias dos filhos de Kohath, as cidades do seu termo se lhes deram da tribo de Ephraim.
67 And they gave them the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with its outskirts, and Gezer with its outskirts,
Porque lhes deram as cidades de refúgio, Sichem e os seus arrabaldes, nas montanhas de Ephraim, como também Gezer e os seus arrabaldes.
68 And Jokmeam with its outskirts, and Beth-horon with its outskirts,
E Jokmeam e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-horon e os seus arrabaldes,
69 And Aijalon with its outskirts, and Gath-rimmon with its outskirts;
E Aijalon e os seus arrabaldes, e Gath-rimmon e os seus arrabaldes.
70 And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its outskirts, and Bileam with its outskirts, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.
E da meia tribo de Manassés, Aner e os seus arrabaldes, e Bileam e os seus arrabaldes: estas cidades tiveram os que ficaram da família dos filhos de Kohath.
71 To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its outskirts, and Ashtaroth with its outskirts;
Os filhos de Gersom, da família da meia tribo de Manassés, tiveram a Golan, em Basan, e os seus arrabaldes, e Astharoth e os seus arrabaldes.
72 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its outskirts, and Daberath with its outskirts,
E da tribo de Issacar, Kedes e os seus arrabaldes, e Dobrath e os seus arrabaldes,
73 And Ramoth with its outskirts, and Anem with its outskirts;
E Ramoth e os seus arrabaldes, e Anem e os seus arrabaldes.
74 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its outskirts, and Abdon with its outskirts,

75 And Hukok with its outskirts, and Rehob with its outskirts;
E Hukok e os seus arrabaldes, e Rehob e os seus arrabaldes.
76 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its outskirts, and Hammon with its outskirts, and Kiriathaim with its outskirts.
E da tribo de Naphtali, Kedes, em Galiléia, e os seus arrabaldes, e Hammon e os seus arrabaldes, e Kiriathaim e os seus arrabaldes.
77 To the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its outskirts, Tabor with its outskirts;
Os que ficaram dos filhos de Merari, da tribo de Zabulon, tiveram a Rimmon e os seus arrabaldes, a Tabor e os seus arrabaldes.
78 And on the other side of Jordan, at Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the waste land with its outskirts, and Jahzah with its outskirts,
E de além do Jordão, da banda de Jericó, ao oriente de Jordão, da tribo de Ruben, a Beser, no deserto, e os seus arrabaldes, e a Jassa e os seus arrabaldes,
79 And Kedemoth with its outskirts, and Mephaath with its outskirts;
E a Kedmoth e os seus arrabaldes, e a Mephaath e os seus arrabaldes.
80 And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its outskirts, and Mahanaim with its outskirts,
E da tribo de Gad, a Ramoth, em Gilead, e os seus arrabaldes, e a Mahanaim e os seus arrabaldes,
81 And Heshbon with its outskirts, and Jazer with its outskirts.
E a Hesbon e os seus arrabaldes, e a Jazer e os seus arrabaldes.
