And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Jehovah, the God of Israel.
2 Mfumu ndi akuluakulu ake pamodzi ndi anthu onse a mu Yerusalemu anagwirizana kuti akondwerere Paska pa mwezi wachiwiri.
For the king had taken counsel, and his rulers, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month.
3 Iwo sanathe kukondwerera pa nthawi yake chifukwa si ansembe ambiri amene anadziyeretsa ndiponso anthu anali asanasonkhane mu Yerusalemu.
For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

And the thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
5 Iwo anagwirizana zoti alengeze mu Israeli monse kuyambira ku Beeriseba mpaka ku Dani, kuyitana anthu kuti abwere ku Yerusalemu ndi kudzakondwerera Paska wa Yehova, Mulungu wa Israeli. Si ambiri amene ankachita chikondwererochi monga momwe kunalembedwera.
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Jehovah, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem. For they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written.
6 Molamulidwa ndi mfumu, amithenga anapita mu Israeli yense ndi Yuda ndi makalata ochokera kwa mfumu ndi kwa akuluakulu ake, olembedwa kuti, “Aisraeli bwererani kwa Yehova, Mulungu wa Abrahamu, Isake ndi Israeli, kuti abwerere kwa inu amene mwatsala, amene mwapulumuka mʼdzanja la mafumu a ku Asiriya.
So the posts went with the letters from the king and his rulers throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye sons of Israel, turn again to Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant of you who escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7 Musakhale ngati makolo anu ndi abale anu, amene anali osakhulupirika kwa Yehova Mulungu wa makolo awo kotero kuti anawachititsa kuti akhale chinthu chochititsa mantha, monga mukuoneramu.
And be ye not like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against Jehovah, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

For if ye turn again to Jehovah, your brothers and your sons shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land. For Jehovah your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return to him.
10 Amithenga aja anapita mzinda ndi mzinda wa ku Efereimu ndi Manase mpaka ku Zebuloni, koma anthu anawanyoza ndi kuwachita chipongwe.
So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun. But they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
11 Komabe anthu ena a ku Aseri, Manase ndi Zebuloni anadzichepetsa ndipo anapita ku Yerusalemu.
Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
12 Dzanja la Mulungu linalinso pa anthu a ku Yuda, kuwapatsa mtima umodzi wochita zimene mfumu ndi akuluakulu ake analamula potsata mawu a Yehova.
Also the hand of God came upon Judah to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the rulers by the word of Jehovah.

Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month. And the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Jehovah.
16 Ndipo anakhala mʼmalo awo a nthawi zonse potsatira zolembedwa mʼmalamulo a Mose munthu wa Mulungu. Ansembe anawaza magazi amene anawapatsa Alevi.
And they stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God; the priests sprinkled the blood which they received from the hand of the Levites.
17 Popeza ambiri mʼgululo anali asanadziyeretse, Alevi anapha ana ankhosa a Paska a iwo amene, mwa mwambo, anali osayeretsedwa ndipo sakanatha kupereka ana ankhosa awo kwa Yehova.
For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves. Therefore the Levites had charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Jehovah.
18 Ngakhale kuti ambiri mwa anthu ochokera ku Efereimu, Manase, Isakara ndi Zebuloni sanadziyeretse okha, komabe anadya Paska motsutsana ndi zimene zinalembedwa. Koma Hezekiya anawapempherera, kunena kuti, “Yehova wabwino, khululukirani aliyense
For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, The good Jehovah pardon everyone

who sets his heart to seek God, Jehovah, the God of his fathers, though he be not according to the purification of the sanctuary.
20 Ndipo Yehova anamvera Hezekiya ndipo anachiritsa anthuwo.
And Jehovah hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21 Aisraeli amene anali mu Yerusalemu anachita chikondwerero cha Buledi Wopanda Yisiti kwa masiku asanu ndi awiri akusangalala kwambiri, pamene Alevi ndi ansembe amayimbira Yehova tsiku lililonse, akuyimbira zida zamatamando za Yehova.
And the sons of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness. And the Levites and the priests praised Jehovah day by day, with loud instruments to Jehovah.

And Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Jehovah. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
23 Ndipo msonkhano wonse unagwirizana zopitiriza chikondwerero kwa masiku ena asanu ndi awiri. Kotero kwa masiku ena asanu ndi awiri anachita chikondwererocho mosangalala.
And the whole assembly took counsel to keep another seven days. And they kept those seven days with gladness.

For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep. And the rulers gave to the assembly a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep. And a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25 Gulu lonse la ku Yuda linasangalala, pamodzi ndi ansembe ndi Alevi ndi onse amene anasonkhana ochokera ku Israeli, kuphatikizanso alendo amene anachokera ku Israeli ndi amene amakhala ku Yuda.

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people. And their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
