< Y Checho Y Apostoles Sija 17 >

1 YA anae guinen manmalofan inanaco Amfipolis yan Apolonia, manmato Tesalónica, anae guaja sinagogan Judios,
Having passed through then Amphipolis and Apollonia they came to Thessalonica, where was (the *k) a synagogue of the Jews.
According to now the being customary with Paul he went in to them, and for Sabbaths three (he reasoned *N+kO) with them from the Scriptures,
opening and setting forth that the Christ it was being necessary to have suffered and to have risen out from [the] dead and that this is the Christ Jesus whom I myself preach to you.
And some of them were obedient and they joined themselves to Paul and to Silas, along with worshipping Greeks a multitude great of women then leading not a few.
Having become jealous now (the *o) ([being] disobedient *K) Jews and having taken to [them] of the market-loungers men certain wicked and having collected a crowd they were setting in uproar the city, (and *N+kO) having assailed the house of Jason they were seeking them (to bring out *N+kO) to the people;
6 Ya anae ti manmasoda, macone si Jason yan palo gui mañelo guato gui manmagas y siuda, ya managang ilegñija: Este yuje sija y munafanaatlibes y tano, ya manmato güine locue;
Not having found however them they were dragging Jason and certain brothers before the city authorities crying out that The [ones] the world having upset these also here are come,
whom has received Jason; And these all contrary to the decrees of Caesar do king another proclaiming to be Jesus.
They stirred up then the crowd and the city authorities hearing these things;
9 Ya anae manmañule segurida gui as Jason yan y pumalo, manmasotta.
And having taken security from Jason and the rest they let go them.
And the brothers immediately through night sent away both Paul and Silas to Berea, who having arrived into the synagogue of the Jews were going.
These now were more noble than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all readiness every day examining the Scriptures if would be these things so.
12 Enaomina megae guiya sija manmanjonggue; yan y manjulon locue na famalaoan Griego, yan y lalaje ti didide.
Many indeed therefore of them believed, and of the Grecian women prominent and men not a few.
13 Lao y Judios Tesalónica anae jatungo na japredidica si Pablo y sinangan Yuus guiya Berea, manmato locue güije, ya manafangalamten yan manafaninestotba y linajyan taotao sija.
When however knew those from Thessalonica Jews that also in Berea was proclaimed by Paul the word of God, they came there also there also stirring up (and agitating *NO) the crowds.
Immediately also then Paul sent away the brothers to go (until *N+kO) to the sea; (remained but *N+kO) both Silas and Timothy there.
Those now (escorting *N+kO) Paul brought (him *k) unto Athens, and having received a command unto Silas and Timothy that as quickly as possible they may come to him they were departing.
16 Ya mientras manninanangga as Pablo guiya Atenas, calamten y espirituña gui sanjalomña anae jalie y siuda na bula y idolos.
In now Athens is waiting for them Paul was provoked the spirit of him in him (seeing *N+kO) utterly idolatrous to be the city.
17 Enaomina gui sinagoga jaadingane y Judio sija, yan y mandeboto na taotao sija, yan todo y asodaña gui plasa todo y jaane.
He was reasoning indeed therefore in the synagogue with the Jews and with those worshiping and in the marketplace on every day with those meeting [him];
Otro palo ilegñija: Buente mannae notisia y nuebo na yuus; sa jasangane sija as Jesus, yan y quinajulo talo.
Some then also of the Epicureans and (of the *k) Stoics philosophers were encountering him; And some were saying; What maybe would intend babbler this to say? Others however; Of foreign gods he seems a proclaimer to be; because Jesus and the resurrection (to them *k) he was evangelising.
19 Ya macone güe guato gui as Areopago, ilegñija.
Having taken hold (also *NK+o) of him to the Ares Hill they brought [him] saying; Are we able to know what [is] new this which by you is spoken teaching?
Strange things for some you are bringing to the ears of us; We resolve therefore to know (what [things] *N+kO) (maybe *k) (intends *N+kO) these things to be.
[The] Athenians now all and the visiting strangers in no [thing] else were spending their time than to tell something (and *N+kO) to hear something new.
Having stood then Paul in [the] midst of the Ares Hill he was saying; Men Athenians, in all things as very religious you I behold;
Passing through for and beholding the objects of worship of you I found even an altar on which had been inscribed: To an unknown God. (whom *N+kO) therefore not knowing you worship, (Him *N+KO) I myself proclaim to you.
24 Si Yuus ni y fumatinas y tano yan todo y güinaja ni y mangaegue gui sumanjalomña; güiya Señot gui langet yan y tano, ti sumasaga gui templo ni y finatinas canae;
The God who having made the world and all things that [are] in it, He of heaven and earth being Lord not in hand-made temples dwells,
25 Ni umasetbe ni y canae taotao sija, taegüije y guaja janesesita; sa güiya mannae todo linâlâ, yan jinagong, yan todo y güinaja;
nor by hands (human *N+kO) is He served as needing anything, Himself giving to all life and breath (and *N+KO) (the *N+kO) all;
26 Ya güiya fumatinas unoja na jâgâ todo y nasion y taotao sija para ufañaga gui jilo y tano, jadetetmina tinancha y tiempoñija, yan y uttimon y saganñija;
He made then of one (blood *K) every nation of men to dwell upon (all [the] face *N+kO) of the earth, determining (ordered *N+kO) times and the boundaries of the habitation of them
to seek (God, *N+KO) if perhaps indeed they would touch Him and would find [Him], And (indeed *N+kO) not far from one each of us He is.
28 Sa iya güiya nae utafanlâlâ yan utafangalamten, yan utafanguaja sustansiata; taegüije y palo gui poetan miyo, ilegñija: Sa jita locue y rasaña.
In Him for we live and move and are,’ As also some of the among you poets have said; of [Him] For also offspring we are.’
29 Yaguin jita y rasan Yuus, mungajit jumaso na y yiniusan Yuus parejo yan oro, pat salape, pat acho, pat y finatinas y jinason y taotao.
Offspring therefore being of God not we ought to consider to gold or to silver or to stone, a graven thing of craft and imagination of man, the Divine Being to be like.
30 Ya ti jaconsidera si Yuus y tiempo anae manaetiningo; lao pago, manago na todo y taotao ufanmañotsot;
The indeed therefore times of ignorance having overlooked God now (He commands *NK+O) to men (all *N+kO) everywhere to repent;
(just as *N+kO) He set a day in which He is about to judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He appointed a guarantee having provided to all, having raised Him out from [the] dead.
Having heard of now a resurrection of [the] dead some indeed were mocking [him], some however said; We will hear you concerning this (also *no) again.
33 Ya ayonae mapos si Pablo gui entaloñija.
(and *k) Thus Paul went out from [the] midst of them.
Some however men having joined themselves to him believed, among whom also [were] Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.
