1 Eta eman cequidan canaberabat bergabat irudiric, eta presenta cedin Ainguerubat, ciostala, Iaiqui adi, eta neurt itzac Iaincoaren templea eta aldarea, eta hartan adoratzen dutenac.
Then I was given a measure like a rod, and a voice said to me — ‘Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the worshiper there.
2 Baina iraitzac campora temple lekoretic den salá, eta ezteçála hura neurt: ecen eman içan ciayec Gentiley, eta Ciuitate saindua ohondicaturen dié berroguey eta bi hilebethez.
But omit the court outside the Temple, and do not measure that, for it has been given up to the nations; and the holy City will be under their heel for forty-two months.
3 Baina emanen diraueat hura neureric bi testimoniori, ceinéc, prophetizaturen baituté milla eta ber-ehun eta hiruroguey egunez, çacuz veztituac diradela.
Then I will give permission to my Two Witnesses, and for those twelve hundred and sixty days they will continue teaching, clothed in sackcloth.’
4 Hauc dituc bi oliuác eta bi candelér lurreco Iaunaren presentián daudenac.
These men are represented by ‘the two olive trees and the two lamps that stand before the Lord of the earth.’
5 Eta baldin nehorc hæy gaizquiric eguin nahi badraue, sua ilkiten duc hayén ahotic, eta iresten citic hayén etsayac: ecen baldin nehorc gaizquiric eguin nahi badraue, harc hunela heriotara eman behar dic.
When any one wishes to harm them, ‘fire comes from their mouths and consumes their enemies’; and whoever wishes to harm them will, in this way, inevitably perish.
6 Hauc dié bothere ceruären ersteco, vriric eztaguian hayén prophetiazco egunetan: eta dié bothere vren gainean, hayen odoletara conuertitzeco, eta lurraren açotatzeco plaga oroz noizere nahi baituqueite.
These men have the power to close the heavens, that ‘no rain may fall’ during the time that they are teaching; and they have power ‘to turn the streams into blood, and to smite the land with any Curse,’ whenever they will.
7 Eta acabatu duqueitenean bere testimoniagea abysmetic igaiten den bestiác, guerla eguinen dic hayen contra, eta garaithuren citic eta hilen: (Abyssos g12)
As soon as they have completed their testimony, ‘the wild Beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer’ and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
8 Eta hayen gorputzac etzanen dituc Ciuitate handico placetan, cein deitzen baita spiritualqui Sodoma eta Egypte, non gure Iauna-ere crucificatu içan baita.
Their dead bodies will lie in the streets of the great City, which is mystically spoken of as ‘Sodom’ and ‘Egypt,’ where their Master was crucified.
9 Eta ikussiren citié leinuètacoéc, eta populuetacoéc, eta mihietacoéc, eta nationetacoéc, hayen gorputzac hirur egun eta erdiz, eta eztiquee permettituren hayen gorputzac eçar ditecen sepulturatan.
Men of all peoples, and tribes, and languages, and nations look at their dead bodies for three days and a half, and do not allow them to be laid in a grave.
10 Eta lurreco habitantéc bozcario vkanen dié hayén gainean, eta atseguin harturen dié: eta presentac igorriren dirauecé elkarri: ceren bi Propheta hauc tormentatu dituqueizten lurrean habitant diradenac.
Those who live on the earth rejoice over them and are merry, and they will send presents to one another, because these two Prophets brought torments upon those who live on the earth.
11 Baina hirur egun eta erdiren buruän vicitzeco spiritu Iaincoaganicoa hetara sarthuren datec, eta egonen diratec bere oinén gainean, eta iciapen handi eroriren datec hec ikussiren dituqueiztenen gainera.
After three days and a half ‘the life-giving breath of God entered these men, and they stood up upon their feet,’ and a great terror took possession of those who were watching them.
12 Guero ençun dié voz handibat cerutic, hæy diostela, Igan çaitezte huná: eta igan dituc cerura hodey batetan: eta ikussi citié bere etsayéc.
The two men heard a loud voice from Heaven which said to them — ‘Come up here,’ and they went up to Heaven in the cloud, while their enemies watched them.
13 Eta oren hartan lur ikaratze handi eguin içan duc: eta Ciuitatearen hamargarren partea erori içan duc, eta hil içan dituc lur ikaratze hartan çazpi milla guiçon, eta berceac icitu içan dituc, eta eman diraucoé gloria ceruco Iaincoari.
At that very time a great earthquake occurred. A tenth part of the city fell, and seven thousand people perished in the earthquake. Those who escaped were much terrified, and praised the God of Heaven.
14 Bigarren maledictionea iragan içan da: eta huná hirurgarren maledictionea ethorriren da sarri.
The second Woe has passed; and there is a third Woe soon to follow!
15 Eta çazpigarren Aingueruäc io ceçan trompettáz, eta voz handiac eguin citecen ceruän, cioitela, Eguin içan dirade mundu hunetaco resumác, gure Iaunaren eta Christ harenaren resuma, eta regnaturen du secula seculacotz. (aiōn g165)
Then the seventh angel blew; and loud voices were heard in Heaven saying — ‘The Kingdom of the World has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ (aiōn g165)
16 Orduan hoguey eta laur Anciano Iaincoaren aitzinean bere alkietan iarriric ceudenéc, egotz citzaten bere buruäc bere beguithartén gainera, eta adora ceçaten Iaincoa,
At this the twenty-four Councillors, who were seated on their thrones before God, prostrated themselves on their faces and worshiped Him,
17 Cioitela, Esquerrac drauzquiagu hiri Iainco Iaun bothere-gucitacoá, Cein baitaiz, eta Baihincén, eta Ethorteco baitaiz, ceren hartu duán eure puissançá handia, eta ceren hassi duán eure resumá:
saying — ‘We thank thee, O Lord, our God, the Almighty, who art and who wast, that thou hast assumed thy great power and reigned.
18 Eta asserretu içan dituc Gentilac, eta ethorri içan duc hire hirá, eta hilén demborá, iugea ditecençát, eta eman dieceançát saria eure cerbitzari Prophetey, eta sainduey, eta hire icenaren beldur diraden chipiey eta handiey: eta deseguin ditzançát lurra deseguiten dutenac.
The nations were enraged, and thy Wrath fell upon them; the time came for the dead to be judged, and for thee to give the reward to thy servants the Prophets, and to the People of Christ, and to those who reverence thy Name — the high and the low alike — and to destroy those who are destroying the earth.’
19 Orduan irequi cedin Iaincoaren templea ceruän, eta ikus cedin haren alliançazco Arká haren templean: eta eguin cedin chistmist eta hots eta lur ikaratze, eta babaçuça handi.
Then the Temple of God in Heaven was opened, and the Ark containing his Covenant was seen in his Temple; and there followed ‘flashes of lightning, cries, peals of thunder,’ an earthquake, and ‘a great storm of hail.’
