ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍԻ 4

1 Ուրեմն, քանի որ Քրիստոս չարչարուեցաւ մեզի համար՝ մարմինով, դո՛ւք ալ զինուեցէք նոյն մտադրութեամբ: Որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ չարչարուած է մարմինով՝ դադրած է մեղանչելէ,

Therfor for Crist suffride in fleisch, be ye also armed bi the same thenkynge; for he that suffride in fleisch ceesside fro synnes,

2 որպէսզի՝ իր մարմինին մէջ մնացած ժամանակը՝ այլեւս ապրի ո՛չ թէ մարդոց ցանկութիւններուն համաձայն, հապա՝ Աստուծոյ կամքին համաձայն:

that that is left now in fleisch lyue not now to the desiris of men, but to the wille of God.

3 Որովհետեւ կը բաւէ մեզի գործադրած ըլլալ հեթանոսներուն կամքը՝ մեր կեանքին անցած ժամանակը, երբ կ՚ընթանայինք ցոփութիւններու, ցանկութիւններու, գինեմոլութիւններու, զեխութիւններու, արբեցութիւններու եւ անօրէն կռապաշտութիւններու մէջ:

For the time that is passid is ynow to the wille of hethene men to be endid, whiche walkiden in letcheries, and lustis, in myche drinking of wyn, in vnmesurable etyngis, and drynkyngis, and vnleueful worschiping of mawmetis.

4 Անոնք տարօրինակ կը սեպեն, որ դուք չէք սուրար իրենց հետ դէպի նոյն անառակութեան ծայրայեղութիւնը, ու կը հայհոյեն ձեզի:

In whiche now thei ben astonyed, in which thing thei wondren, for ye rennen not togidere `in to the same confusioun of letcherie, and blasfemen.

5 Անոնք հաշիւ պիտի տան անո՛ր՝ որ պատրաստ է դատել ողջերն ու մեռելները.

And thei schulen yyue resoun to hym, that is redi to deme the quyke and the deed.

6 քանի որ սա՛ նպատակով մեռելներո՛ւն ալ աւետարանուեցաւ, որպէսզի դատուին մարմինով՝ մարդոց համեմատ, իսկ ապրին հոգիով՝ Աստուծոյ համաձայն:

For whi for this thing it is prechid also to deed men, that thei be demed bi men in fleisch, and that thei lyue bi God in spirit.

7 Սակայն ամէն բանի վախճանը մօտեցած է. ուրեմն խոհե՛մ եղէք, եւ արթո՛ւն կեցէք՝ աղօթելու համար:

For the ende of alle thingis schal neiye. Therfor be ye prudent, and wake ye in preyeris;

8 Ամէն բանէ առաջ՝ ջերմեռա՛նդ սէր ունեցէք իրարու հանդէպ. որովհետեւ սէրը կը ծածկէ մեղքերու բազմութիւնը:

bifore alle thingis haue ye charite ech to other in you silf algatis lastynge; for charite couerith the multitude of synnes.

9 Հիւրասէ՛ր եղէք իրարու հանդէպ՝ առանց տրտնջելու:

Holde ye hospitalite togidere with out grutching;

10 Քանի ձեզմէ իւրաքանչիւրը ստացած է շնորհ մը, սպասարկեցէ՛ք զայն իրարու՝ Աստուծոյ բազմազան շնորհքին բարի տնտեսներուն պէս:

ech man as he hath resseyued grace, mynystringe it in to ech othere, as good dispenderis of the manyfold grace of God.

11 Եթէ մէկը խօսի, թող խօսի Աստուծոյ պատգամներուն պէս. եթէ մէկը սպասարկէ, թող սպասարկէ Աստուծոյ հայթայթած ոյժին համեմատ. որպէսզի ամէն բանի մէջ Աստուած փառաւորուի Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով, որուն կը պատկանին փառքն ու զօրութիւնը դարէ դար՝՝: Ամէն: (aiōn g165)

If ony man spekith, speke he as the wordis of God; if ony man mynystrith, as of the vertu which God mynystrith; that God be onourid in alle thingis bi Jhesu Crist oure Lord, to whom is glorie and lordschip in to worldis `of worldis. (aiōn g165)

12 Սիրելինե՛ր, տարօրինակ մի՛ սեպէք այն փորձութեան հրդեհը, որ կ՚ըլլայ ձեզ փորձելու համար, որպէս թէ օտար բան մը կը պատահի ձեզի:

Amen. Moost dere brytheren, nyle ye go in pilgrymage in feruour, that is maad to you to temptacioun, as if ony newe thing bifalle to you;

13 Հապա ուրախացէ՛ք՝ քանի որ կը հաղորդակցիք Քրիստոսի չարչարանքներուն, որպէսզի անոր փառքի յայտնութեան ատենն ալ ուրախանաք ցնծութեամբ:

but comyne ye with the passiouns of Crist, and haue ye ioye, that also ye be glad, and haue ioye in the reuelacioun of his glorie.

14 Եթէ նախատուիք Քրիստոսի անունին համար՝ երանելի՜ էք, որովհետեւ փառքի (ու զօրութեան) եւ Աստուծոյ Հոգին հանգչած է ձեր վրայ. արդարեւ ան կը հայհոյուի անոնցմէ, բայց կը փառաւորուի ձեզմէ՝՝:

If ye ben dispisid for the name of Crist, ye schulen be blessid; for that that is of the onour, and of the glorie, and of the vertu of God, and the spirit that is his, schal reste on you.

15 Ձեզմէ ո՛չ մէկը թող չարչարուի իբր մարդասպան, կամ գող, կամ չարագործ, կամ իբր ուրիշին միջամուխ:

But no man of you suffre as a mansleere, ethir a theef, ether cursere, ethir a disirere of othere mennus goodis;

16 Սակայն եթէ չարչարուի իբր քրիստոնեայ՝ թող չամչնայ, հապա թող փառաւորէ Աստուած այս մասին:

but if as a cristen man, schame he not, but glorifie he God in this name.

17 Որովհետեւ ատենը եկած է՝ որ դատաստանը սկսի Աստուծոյ տունէն: Ու եթէ նախ սկսի մեզմէ, հապա ի՞նչ պիտի ըլլայ վախճանը անոնց՝ որ չեն անսար Աստուծոյ աւետարանին:

For tyme is, that doom bigynne at Goddis hous; and if it bigynne first at vs, what ende schal be of hem, that bileuen not to the gospel?

18 Եթէ արդարը հազիւ կը փրկուի, ի՞նչ պիտի ըլլան՝՝ ամբարիշտն ու մեղաւորը:

And if a iust man vnnethe schal be sauid, where schulen the vnfeithful man and the synnere appere?

19 Հետեւաբար, անոնք որ կը չարչարուին Աստուծոյ կամքին համաձայն, բարիք գործելով թող աւանդեն իրենց անձերը անոր՝ իբր հաւատարիմ Արարիչին:

Therfor and thei that suffren bi the wille of God, bitaken her soulis in good dedis to the feithful makere of nouyt.
