ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍԻ 5

1 Կը յորդորեմ ձեր մէջ եղող երէցները, ե՛ս ալ ըլլալով երէց իրենց պէս, Քրիստոսի չարչարանքներուն վկայ, նաեւ հաղորդակից այն փառքին՝ որ պիտի յայտնուի.-

Therfor Y, an euene eldre man, and a witnesse of Cristis passiouns, which also am a comynere of that glorie, that schal be schewid in tyme to comynge; byseche ye the eldre men,

2 հովուեցէ՛ք Աստուծոյ հօտը՝ որ ձեր մէջ է, տեսուչ ըլլալով՝ ո՛չ թէ հարկադրաբար, հապա՝ կամովին. ո՛չ թէ ամօթալի շահախնդրութեամբ, հապա՝ յօժարութեամբ.

that ben among you, fede ye the flok of God, that is among you, and puruey ye, not as constreyned, but wilfulli, bi God; not for loue of foule wynnyng,

3 ո՛չ ալ տիրապետելով թեմին վրայ, հապա՝ տիպար ըլլալով հօտին.

but wilfulli, nether as hauynge lordschip in the clergie, but that ye ben maad ensaumple of the floc, of wille.

4 ու երբ Հովուապետը երեւնայ, պիտի ստանաք փառքի անթառամ պսակը:

And whanne the prince of scheepherdis schal appere, ye schulen resseyue the coroun of glorie, that may neuere fade.

5 Նմանապէս դո՛ւք, դեռատինե՛ր, հպատակեցէ՛ք տարեցներուն: Բոլորդ իրարու հպատակելով՝ խոնարհութի՛ւն հագէք. որովհետեւ «Աստուած կ՚ընդդիմանայ ամբարտաւաններուն, բայց շնորհք կու տայ խոնարհներուն»:

Also, ye yonge men, be ye suget to eldre men, and alle schewe ye togidere mekenesse; for the Lord withstondith proude men, but he yyueth grace to meke men.

6 Ուրեմն խոնարհեցէ՛ք Աստուծոյ հզօր ձեռքին տակ, որպէսզի ժամանակին բարձրացնէ ձեզ:

Therfor be ye mekid vndir the myyti hoond of God, that he reise you in the tyme of visitacioun,

7 Ձեր ամէն հոգը ձգեցէ՛ք անոր վրայ, որովհետեւ ան կը հոգայ ձեզ:

and caste ye al youre bisynesse in to hym, for to hym is cure of you.

8 Զգա՛ստ եղէք, արթո՛ւն կեցէք. որովհետեւ ձեր ոսոխը՝ Չարախօսը՝ կը շրջի մռնչող առիւծի պէս, փնտռելով թէ ո՛վ կլլէ:

Be ye sobre, and wake ye, for youre aduersarie, the deuel, as a rorynge lioun goith aboute, sechinge whom he schal deuoure.

9 Դիմադրեցէ՛ք անոր՝ ամուր հաւատքով, գիտնալով թէ ձեր եղբայրնե՛րն ալ աշխարհի մէջ կը կրեն նոյն չարչարանքները:

Whom ayenstonde ye, stronge in the feith, witynge that the same passioun is maad to thilke brithirhode of you, that is in the world.

10 Եւ ամէն շնորհքի Աստուածը, որ իր յաւիտենական փառքին կանչեց մեզ Քրիստոս Յիսուսի միջոցով, ձեզ կատարեալ պիտի ընէ, ամրացնէ, ուժովցնէ եւ անսասան հիմերու վրայ դնէ, երբ չարչարուիք քիչ մը ատեն: (aiōnios g166)

And God of al grace, that clepide you in to his euerlastinge glorie, you suffrynge a litil, he schal performe, and schal conferme, and schal make sad. (aiōnios g166)

11 Իրե՛ն են փառքը եւ զօրութիւնը դարէ դար՝՝: Ամէն: (aiōn g165)

To hym be glorie and lordschip, in to worldis of worldis. Amen. (aiōn g165)

12 Սիղուանոսի միջոցով, որ՝ ինչպէս կը սեպեմ՝ հաւատարիմ եղբայր մըն է, գրեցի ձեզի համառօտաբար, յորդորելով ու վկայելով թէ ա՛յս է Աստուծոյ ճշմարիտ շնորհքը, որուն մէջ հաստատ կեցած էք:

Bi Siluan, feithful brother to you as Y deme, Y wroot schortli; bisechinge, and witnessinge that this is the very grace of God, in which ye stonden.

13 Կը բարեւէ ձեզ Բաբելոնի մէջ եղած եկեղեցին, որ ընտրուած է ձեզի հետ, նաեւ Մարկոս՝ իմ որդիս:

The chirche that is gaderid in Babiloyne, and Marcus, my sone, gretith you wel.

14 Բարեւեցէ՛ք զիրար սիրոյ համբոյրով: Խաղաղութի՜ւն ձեր բոլորին՝ որ Քրիստոս Յիսուսի մէջ էք: Ամէն:

Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos. Grace be to you alle that ben in Crist. Amen.
