Psalmet 47

1 Duartrokisni, o popuj; kremtojeni Perëndinë me britma triumfi.

Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

2 Sepse Zoti, Shumë i Larti, është i tmerrshëm, një mbret i madh mbi gjithë dheun.

For Adonai Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

3 Ai do të na nënshtrojë popujt dhe kombet do t’i vërë nën këmbët tona.

He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

4 Ai do të zgjedhë për ne trashëgiminë tonë, lavdinë e Jakobit që ai e do. (Sela)

He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob [Supplanter] whom he 'ahav ·affectionately loved·. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.

5 Perëndia është ngritur në mes brohoritjesh gëzimi, Zoti me tingujt e borive.

God has gone up with a shout, Adonai with the sound of a shofar ·ram horn·.

6 Këndojini lavde Perëndisë tonë, këndojini lavde! Këndojini lavde mbretit tonë, këndojini lavde!

Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to God, sing zahmar ·musical praise·. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to our King, sing zahmar ·musical praise·.

7 Sepse Perëndia është mbreti i gjithë dheut, këndojini lavde me zotësi.

For God is the King of all the earth. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· with understanding.

8 Perëndia mbretëron mbi kombet; Perëndia ulet mbi fronin e tij të shenjtë.

God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

9 Princat e popujve, populli i Perëndisë të Abrahamit, janë mbledhur bashkë; sepse Perëndisë i përkasin mburojat e tokës; atë e lëvdojnë me të madhe.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude]. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!
