Աստուած նախապէս սահմանեց զայն՝ քաւութիւն ըլլալու անոր արիւնին հաւատացողներուն, որպէսզի ցոյց տայ իր արդարութիւնը՝ ներելով նախապէս - Աստուծոյ հանդուրժողութեան ժամանակ - գործուած մեղքերը:

তাঁকেই ঈশ্বর তাঁর রক্তের বিশ্বাসের মাধ্যমে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করেছেন অর্থাৎ তাঁর জীবন উত্সর্গ করেছেন; যেন তিনি নিজের ধার্ম্মিকতা দেখান কারণ ঈশ্বরের সহ্যের গুনে মানুষের আগের পাপগুলি ক্ষমা করে কোনো শাস্তি দেয় নি।
তাঁর রক্তে বিশ্বাসের মাধ্যমে, ঈশ্বর তাঁকেই প্রায়শ্চিত্ত-বলিরূপে উপস্থাপিত করেছেন। তিনি তাঁর ন্যায়পরায়ণতা প্রদর্শনের জন্য এরকম করেছেন, কারণ তাঁর সহনশীলতার গুণে তিনি অতীতে করা সকল পাপের শাস্তি দেননি।

Njega je Bog izložio da krvlju svojom bude Pomirilište po vjeri. Htio je tako očitovati svoju pravednost kojom je u svojoj božanskoj strpljivosti propuštao dotadašnje grijehe;

Den hat Gott öffentlich zur Schau gestellt als Gnadenstuhl durch seinen blutigen Tod, den er im Glauben erduldet hat. Damit wollte Gott zunächst seine (richterliche) Gerechtigkeit erweisen, weil er die vorher begangenen Sünden in seiner Langmut ungestraft hat hingehen lassen.

Бог призначив Його [місцем] примирення через віру, щоб в Його крові показати Свою праведність. У Своєму довготерпінні Бог залишав [безкарними] гріхи, вчинені в минулому,
що Його Бог дав у жертву прими́рення в крові Його через віру, щоб виявити Свою праведність через відпу́щення давніше вчинених гріхів,
котрого предложив Бог на вблагальну жертву через віру в кров Його, щоб з'ясувати правду свою одпущеннєм прежнїх гріхів у довготерпінню Божому,
उसे ख़ुदा ने उसके ख़ून के ज़रिए एक ऐसा कफ़्फ़ारा ठहराया जो ईमान लाने से फ़ाइदामन्द हो ताकि जो गुनाह पहले से हो चुके थे? और जिसे ख़ुदा ने बर्दाश्त करके तरजीह दी थी उनके बारे में वो अपनी रास्तबाज़ी ज़ाहिर करे।
