وَأَخَذُوا يُرَتِّلُونَ تَرْتِيلَةً جَدِيدَةً يَقُولُونَ فِيهَا: «مُسْتَحِقٌّ أَنْتَ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ الْكِتَابَ وَتَفُكَّ خُتُومَهُ، لأَنَّكَ ذُبِحْتَ، وَبِدَمِكَ اشْتَرَيْتَ لِلهِ أُنَاساً مِنْ كُلِّ قَبِيلَةٍ وَلُغَةٍ وَشَعْبٍ وَأُمَّةٍ،

At sila'y nangagaawitan ng isang bagong awit, na nagsasabi, Ikaw ang karapatdapat na kumuha ng aklat, at magbukas ng mga tatak nito: sapagka't ikaw ay pinatay, at binili mo sa Dios ng iyong dugo ang mga tao sa bawa't angkan, at wika, at bayan, at bansa.
Umawit sila ng bagong awit: “Ikaw ay karapat-dapat kumuha ng balumbon at buksan ang mga selyo nito. Dahil ikaw ay pinatay at sa pamamagitan ng iyong dugo, binili mo ang mga tao para sa Diyos mula sa bawat lipi, wika, mga tao, at bansa.
