“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

जब मैं कब्र में चला जाऊँगा तब मेरी मृत्यु से क्या लाभ होगा? क्या मिट्टी तेरा धन्यवाद कर सकती है? क्या वह तेरी विश्वसनीयता का प्रचार कर सकती है?
“क्या लाभ होगा मेरी मृत्यु से, मेरे अधोलोक में जाने से? क्या मिट्टी आपकी स्तुति करेगी? क्या वह आपकी सच्चाई की साक्ष्य देगी?

"Apakah untungnya kalau darahku tertumpah, kalau aku turun ke dalam lobang kubur? Dapatkah debu bersyukur kepada-Mu dan memberitakan kesetiaan-Mu?

ഞാൻ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയാൽ എന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ട് എന്ത് ലാഭമാണുള്ളത്? ധൂളി അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കുമോ? അത് അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുമോ?
