Obadiah 1:5
“If thieves came to you, if robbers by night—oh, what disaster awaits you—would not they only steal until they had enough? If grape pickers came to you, would not they leave some gleaning grapes?

| إِنِ اقْتَحَمَ اللُّصُوصُ بَيْتَكَ، وَهَاجَمَكَ النَّاهِبُونَ لَيْلاً، أَلاَ يَسْرِقُونَ مَا يَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَطْ؟ وَإِنْ أَقْبَلَ إِلَيْكَ قَاطِفُو الْعِنَبِ، أَلاَ يُبْقُونَ خُصَاصَةً؟ وَلَكِنْ يَا لَدَمَارِكَ! |
তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ যদি ৰাতি চোৰ বা ডকাইত আহে, তেনেহ’লে (তোমাক কিদৰে উচ্ছন্ন কৰা হৈছে!) তেওঁলোকে কেৱল নিজৰ বাবে যথেষ্ট পৰিমাণে চুৰ কৰিব নে? যদি তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটি চাপোৱাসকল আহে তেনেহ’লে তেওঁলোকে সংগ্রহ কৰা দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটিৰ অৱশিষ্ট নাৰাখিব নে?

যদি চোরেরা তোমার কাছে আসে, যদি ডাকাতেরা রাতের বেলায় আসে (কিভাবে তুমি বিনষ্ট হবে!), তবে কি তারা, তাদের যতটা ইচ্ছা ততটাই চুরি করবে না? যদি আঙ্গুর সংগ্রহকারীরা তোমার কাছে আসে, তবে তারা কি কিছু ফল অবশিষ্ট রাখে না?

Ако дойдеха крадци при тебе, Или разбойници през нощ, (Как биде изтребен ти!) Нямаше ли да заграбят само колкото им е доволно? Ако гроздоберци дойдеха при тебе, Нямаше ли да оставят пабирък?

When thieves break into someone’s house during the night, they certainly [RHQ] steal only the things that they want. And people who pick grapes always [RHQ] leave a few grapes on the vines. But your country will be completely destroyed!

Sont-ce des larrons qui sont entrés chez toi, ou des voleurs de nuit? Comment [donc] as-tu été rasé? N'eussent-ils pas dérobé jusqu'à ce qu'ils en eussent eu assez? Si des vendangeurs fussent entrés chez toi, n'eussent-ils pas laissé quelque grappillage?
Si des voleurs, si des brigands étaient entrés chez toi durant la nuit, comment aurais-tu gardé le silence? N’auraient-ils pas volé ce qui leur suffisait? Si des vendangeurs étaient entrés chez toi, est-ce qu’ils ne t’auraient pas laissé au moins une grappe de raisin?

Ja, wären Diebe über dich gekommen oder Räuber bei der Nacht, wie wärest du verwüstet worden? Nicht wahr, sie hätten nur soviel gestohlen, wie sie grade hätten tragen können? Und wären Winzer über dich gekommen, hätten sie nicht eine Nachlese zurückgelassen?

“Dù bọn trộm cướp xông vào giữa đêm và cướp bóc ngươi, (thảm họa nào đang chờ ngươi!), chúng cũng không lấy sạch tất cả. Dù bọn ăn cắp vào càn quét vườn nho ngươi, chúng cũng để sót vài chùm cho người nghèo. Nhưng kẻ thù ngươi thì quét sạch ngươi!
