Nehemiah 13:22
I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me for this also, my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.
| وَقُلْتُ لِلَّاوِيِّينَ أَنْ يَتَطَهَّرُوا وَيَأْتُوا وَيَحْرُسُوا ٱلْأَبْوَابَ لِأَجْلِ تَقْدِيسِ يَوْمِ ٱلسَّبْتِ. بِهَذَا أَيْضًا ٱذْكُرْنِي يَا إِلَهِي، وَتَرَأَفْ عَلَيَّ حَسَبَ كَثْرَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ. |
| وَأَمَرْتُ اللّاوِيِّينَ أَنْ يَتَطَهَّرُوَا لِيَأْتُوا وَيَقُومُوا بِحِرَاسَةِ الْبَوَّابَاتِ لِيُقَدِّسُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ. فَاذْكُرْنِي يَا إِلَهِي مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا أَيْضاً، وَأَحْسِنْ إِلَيَّ بِحَسَبِ مَرَاحِمِكَ الْكَثِيرَةِ. |

তাৰ পাছত বিশ্ৰামবাৰ পবিত্র কৰিবলৈ লেবীয়া সকল নিজকে নিজে শুচি কৰি আহি দুৱাৰবোৰ ৰখিবলৈ মই আদেশ দিলোঁ। হে মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ, এই বিষয়তো মোক সোঁৱৰণ কৰক; মোক দয়া কৰক আৰু আপোনাৰ নিয়ম অনুসাৰে মোলৈ কৃপা কৰক।

সেই থেকে তারা আর বিশ্রামবারে আসত না। তারপর আমি লেবীয়দের আদেশ দিলাম যেন তারা নিজেদের শুচি করে এবং বিশ্রামবার পবিত্র রাখবার জন্য গিয়ে দরজাগুলো পাহারা দেয়। হে আমার ঈশ্বর, এর জন্যও তুমি আমাকে মনে রেখো এবং তোমার ব্যবস্থা অনুসারে আমাকে দয়া কর।
তারপর আমি লেবীয়দের আদেশ দিলাম যেন তারা নিজেদের শুচি করে এবং বিশ্রামবার পবিত্র রাখবার জন্য দ্বারগুলি পাহারা দেয়। হে আমার ঈশ্বর, এর জন্যও তুমি আমাকে মনে রেখো এবং তোমার মহান ভালোবাসাতে আমার প্রতি করুণা কোরো।
И заповядах на левитите да се очистват и да дохождат да вардят портите, за да освещават съботния ден. Помни ме, Боже мой, и за това, и смили се за мене според голямата Си милост.

Ug akong gisugo ang mga Levihanon nga sila maghinlo sa ilang kaugalingon, ug nga sila manuol ug managbantay sa mga ganghaan aron sa pagbalaan sa adlaw nga igpapahulay. Hinumdumi kini alang kanako, Oh Dios ko, kini usab, ug luwasa ako tungod sa pagkadaku sa imong mahigugmaong-kalolot.
Unya gimandoan ko ang mga Levita nga himuon nila ang seremonyas sa paghinlo sa ilang kaugalingon ug magbantay sa mga ganghaan aron igahin alang sa Dios sa mga tawo ang Adlaw nga Igpapahulay. Unya nag-ampo ako, “O Dios ko, hinumdomi kining akong gihimo, ug kaloy-i ako sumala sa imong dakong gugma.”

Leewatuu barenttu huup'iyaa geeshshanaadaaninne Sambbata gallassaykka geeshsha gidana mala, gimbbiyaa penggetuwaa naaganaadan taani azazaad. «Ta S'oossaw, ha ubbabaa diraw, neeni taana k'oppa; k'ay ne aggena siik'uwaa diraw, neeni taw k'aretta» yaagaadde woossaad.
Bangʼe ne achiwo chik ne jo-Lawi mondo opwodhre kendo gidhi girit rangeye mondo gimi chiengʼ Sabato obed maler. Yaye Nyasacha, para ema bende, kendo itimna ngʼwono kaluwore gi herani maduongʼ.
Voorts zeide ik tot de Levieten, dat zij zich zouden reinigen, en de poorten komen wachten, om den sabbatdag te heiligen. Gedenk mijner ook in dezen, mijn God! en verschoon mij naar de veelheid Uwer goedertierenheid.
Toch beval ik de levieten, zich te reinigen, en de poorten te komen bewaken, om de sabbat heilig te houden. Mijn God, wees mij ook hierom indachtig, en ontferm U mijner naar de rijkdom van uw genade.
Voorts zeide ik tot de Levieten, dat zij zich zouden reinigen, en de poorten komen wachten, om den sabbatdag te heiligen. Gedenk mijner ook in dezen, mijn God! en verschoon mij naar de veelheid Uwer goedertierenheid.
Ende ick heb den Leuiten ooc gheseyt dat sij ghesuyuert souden worden ende comen om die poorten te bewaren, ende om te heylighen den sabboths dach, ende daerom op dit stuck wilt mijns ghedachtich wesen mijn Godt, ende spaert my nae die menichfuldicheyt uwer bermherticheden,

And I commanded the Levi'im that they should make themselves tahor, and that they should come and be shomer over the gates, to set apart as kodesh Shabbos. Remember me, O Elohai, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Thy mercy.
I also commanded the descendants of Levi to [perform the ritual to] purify themselves and to guard the city gates, to make sure that the Sabbath was kept holy [by not allowing merchants to enter it on Sabbath days]. My God, do not forget this also that I [have done for you]! And because of your faithfully loving me, allow me to continue to live [many more years]!

Also Y seide to dekenes, that thei schulden be clensid, and that thei schulden come to kepe the yatis, and to halowe the dai of sabat. And therfor for this thing, my God, haue mynde of me, and spare me bi the mychilnesse of thi merciful doyngis.

Et je dis aux lévites qui s’étaient purifiés, et qui étaient venus garder les portes, de sanctifier le jour du sabbat: à cause de cela, souvenez-vous de moi, mon Dieu, et épargnez-moi, selon la plénitude de votre miséricorde.
J’ordonnai aussi aux Lévites de se purifier et de venir garder les portes pour sanctifier le jour du sabbat. Souviens-toi de moi, ô mon Dieu, à cause de cela, et protège-moi selon ta grande miséricorde!

Je recommandai aussi aux Lévites de se mettre en état de pureté et de venir garder les portes pour sanctifier le jour du sabbat: cela aussi, tiens-m’en compte, ô mon Dieu, et protège-moi selon l’abondance de ta grâce!
