Did not your fathers do this, and did not our God bring all this evil on us and on this city? Yet you bring more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

| أَلَمْ يَفْعَلْ آبَاؤُكُمْ هَكَذَا فَجَلَبَ إِلَهُنَا عَلَيْنَا كُلَّ هَذَا ٱلشَّرِّ، وَعَلَى هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ؟ وَأَنْتُمْ تَزِيدُونَ غَضَبًا عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ تُدَنِّسُونَ ٱلسَّبْتَ». |
| أَلَمْ يَتَصَرَّفْ آبَاؤُكُمْ هَكَذَا؟ أَلَمْ يَصُبَّ إِلَهُنَا كُلَّ غَضَبِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ؟ وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّكُمْ تَجْلِبُونَ مَزِيداً مِنَ السُّخْطِ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ تُدَنِّسُونَ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ». |
আপোনালোকৰ পিতৃ সকলে এইদৰে কৰা নাছিল নে? আৰু আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰে জানো আমাৰ আৰু এই নগৰৰ ওপৰত এইবোৰ দুৰ্দশা ঘটোৱা নাছিল নে? তথাপিও আপোনালোকে বিশ্ৰাম-বাৰ অপবিত্ৰ কৰি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰলৈ ক্ৰোধাগ্নি পুনৰ অধিককৈ আনিব খুজিছে?”

তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা কি সেই একই কাজ করত না? যার দরুন আমাদের ঈশ্বর আমাদের উপর ও এই শহরের উপর এই সব সর্বনাশ করেননি? আর এখন তোমরা বিশ্রামবারের পবিত্রতা নষ্ট করে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের উপর ঈশ্বরের আরও অসন্তোষ বাড়িয়ে তুলছ।”
তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা কি সেই একই কাজ করেননি, যার দরুন আমাদের ঈশ্বর আমাদের উপর ও এই নগরের উপর এসব সর্বনাশ ঘটিয়েছেন? এখন তোমরা বিশ্রামবারের পবিত্রতা নষ্ট করে ইস্রায়েলীদের উপর ঈশ্বরের আরও ক্রোধ বাড়িয়ে তুলছ।”
Не постъпиха ли така бащите ви, така щото нашият Бог докара всичкото това зло на нас и на тоя град? А пък вие умножавате гняв върху Израиля като осквернявате съботата.

Deden niet uw vaders alzo, en onze God bracht al dit kwaad over ons en over deze stad? En gijlieden maakt de hittige gramschap nog meer over Israel, ontheiligende den sabbat.

Wasn't this what your forefathers did, bringing our God down on us, causing us and this city such disasters? Now you're bringing even more trouble on us by violating the Sabbath!”

Eikö teidän isänne niin tehneet? ja meidän Jumalamme toi kaiken tämän onnettomuuden meidän päällemme ja tämän kaupungin päälle; ja te saatatte vielä nyt vihan enemmäksi Israelin päälle, että te rikotte sabbatin.
Eikö Jumalamme juuri sen tähden, että teidän isänne näin tekivät, antanut kaiken tämän onnettomuuden kohdata meitä ja tätä kaupunkia? Ja te tuotatte nyt vielä suuremman vihan Israelin ylitse, kun rikotte sapatinpäivän."

N'est-ce pas ainsi qu'ont agi vos pères, ensuite de quoi notre Dieu a fait tomber sur nous et sur cette ville tous ces malheurs? Et vous accumulez la colère divine sur Israël par la profanation du Sabbat!
N'est-ce point là ce que faisaient vos pères? n'est-ce point la cause de tous les malheurs dont notre Dieu les à frappés, eux et notre ville? Et vous, n'attirerez-vous pas un surcroît de colère sur Israël en profanant le sabbat?
N’Est-ce pas ainsi qu’ont agi vos pères, de telle sorte que notre Dieu a fait fondre tous ces désastres sur nous et sur cette ville? Et vous, vous augmentez encore la colère divine contre Israël, en profanant le sabbat!"

δεν έκαμνον ούτως οι πατέρες σας, και έφερεν ο Θεός ημών πάντα ταύτα τα κακά εφ' ημάς και επί την πόλιν ταύτην; αλλά σεις επαναφέρετε οργήν επί τον Ισραήλ, βεβηλούντες το σάββατον.
οὐχὶ οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν καὶ ἤνεγκεν ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν καὶ ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς πάντα τὰ κακὰ ταῦτα καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ ὑμεῖς προστίθετε ὀργὴν ἐπὶ Ισραηλ βεβηλῶσαι τὸ σάββατον
શું તમારા પિતૃઓ એમ નહોતા કરતા? અને તેથી આપણા ઈશ્વરે આપણા પર તથા આ નગર પર શું આ બધાં દુ: ખો વરસાવ્યાં નથી? હવે તમે વિશ્રામવારના દિવસને ભ્રષ્ટ કરીને ઇઝરાયલ પર ઈશ્વરનો વધારે કોપ લાવો છો.”

Kakanninku ba su yi irin waɗannan abubuwa ba, har Allahnmu ya kawo dukan masifun nan a kanmu da kuma a kan wannan birni? Yanzu kuna tsokanar fushi mai yawa a kan Isra’ila ta wurin ƙazantar da Asabbaci.”
Aole anei i hana ko oukou poe makua pela, a kau mai la ko kakou Akua i keia popilikia a pau maluna o kakou, a maluna o keia kulanakauhale? Aka, e hoomahuahua ana oukou i ka inaina maluna o ka Iseraela i ka oukou hana ino ana i ka Sabati.

உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் இப்படிச் செய்ததினாலல்லவா நமது தேவன் நம்மேலும், இந்த நகரத்தின்மேலும் இந்தத் தீங்கையெல்லாம் வரச்செய்தார்; நீங்களோவென்றால் ஓய்வுநாளைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்குகிறதினால், இஸ்ரவேலின் மேலிருக்கிற கடுங்கோபத்தை அதிகரிக்கச்செய்கிறீர்கள் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன்.

Tổ tiên các ông cũng đã hành động như thế, và hậu quả là chúng ta và thành này chịu tai họa từ Đức Chúa Trời ngày nay. Các ông còn muốn Ít-ra-ên mang họa vì để cho ngày Sa-bát bị xúc phạm nữa sao?”
