And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated.’
तुम्हीन म्हणतस कोणी वेदीनी शप्पथ लिधी तर काहीच हरकत नही, पण जर कोणी तिनावर अर्पण करतस त्या अर्पणनी शप्पथ लिधी तर ती मोडता येवाव नही.

وَتَقُولُونَ: مَنْ أَقْسَمَ بِالْمَذْبَحِ، فَقَسَمُهُ غَيْرُ مُلْزِمٍ؛ أَمَّا مَنْ أَقْسَمَ بِالْقُرْبَانِ الَّذِي عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ، فَقَسَمُهُ مُلْزِمٌ!

Եւ՝ ով որ երդուի սեղանի վրայ, այդ երդումը ոչինչ չի նշանակում. բայց ով որ երդուի նրա վրայ գտնուող ընծայի վրայ, պարտաւորւում է այն կատարել:

আপোনালোকে কয় যে, বেদিত ধৰি শপত খালে, একো নহয়; কিন্তু যি জনে তাৰ ওপৰৰ নৈবেদ্যত ধৰি শপত খায়, তেওঁহে ধৰুৱা।

আরও বলে থাক, কেউ যজ্ঞবেদির দিব্যি করলে তা কিছুই নয়, কিন্তু কেউ যদি তার উপরের উপহারের দিব্যি করে, তবে সে তার দিব্যিতে আবদ্ধ হল।
তোমরা আরও বলো, ‘কেউ যদি যজ্ঞবেদির শপথ করে সেটা কিছুই নয়; কিন্তু কেউ যদি তার উপরে স্থিত নৈবেদ্যের শপথ করে তাহলে সে তার শপথে আবদ্ধ হল।’
