For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

إِنَّ ٱبْنَ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ مَاضٍ كَمَا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ عَنْهُ، وَلَكِنْ وَيْلٌ لِذَلِكَ ٱلرَّجُلِ ٱلَّذِي بِهِ يُسَلَّمُ ٱبْنُ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ. كَانَ خَيْرًا لِذَلِكَ ٱلرَّجُلِ لَوْ لَمْ يُولَدْ!».
إِنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ لاَبُدَّ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ كَمَا قَدْ كُتِبَ عَنْهُ، وَلكِنِ الْوَيْلُ لِذلِكَ الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي عَلَى يَدِهِ يُسَلَّمُ ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ. كَانَ خَيْراً لِذلِكَ الرَّجُلِ لَوْ لَمْ يُولَدْ!»

Ճիշտ է, մարդու Որդին կը գնայ այս աշխարհից, ինչպէս որ նրա մասին գրուած է. բայց վա՜յ այն մարդուն, որի ձեռքով մարդու Որդին կը մատնուի. լաւ կը լինէր նրան, եթէ այդ մարդը ծնուած անգամ չլինէր»:
Արդարեւ մարդու Որդին կ՚երթայ՝ ինչպէս գրուած է իրեն համար. բայց վա՜յ այն մարդուն, որուն միջոցով կը մատնուի մարդու Որդին: Այդ մարդուն լաւ պիտի ըլլար՝ որ ծնած չըլլար»:
কিয়নো মানুহৰ পুত্ৰৰ বিষয়ে যেনেকৈ লিখা আছে, তেনেকৈ তেওঁৰ গতি হ’ব; কিন্তু যি জন মানুহৰ দ্বাৰাই মানুহৰ পুত্ৰক শোধাই দিয়া হ’ল, তেওঁ সন্তাপৰ পাত্ৰ; সেই মানুহ জনৰ জন্ম নোহোৱা হ’লেই তেওঁৰ ভাল আছিল।”

কারণ মনুষ্যপুত্রের বিষয়ে যেমন লেখা আছে, তেমনি তিনি যাবেন, কিন্তু ধিক সেই ব্যক্তিকে, যার মাধ্যমে মনুষ্যপুত্রকে ধরিয়ে দাও য়া হবে, সেই মানুষের জন্ম না হলেই তার পক্ষে ভাল ছিল।

Sin Čovječji, istina, odlazi kako je o njemu pisano, ali jao čovjeku onomu koji ga predaje. Tomu bi čovjeku bolje bilo da se ni rodio nije!”
Syn zajisté člověka jde, jakož psáno o něm, ale běda člověku tomu, skrze něhož Syn člověka bude zrazen. Dobré by bylo jemu, aby se byl nenarodil člověk ten.
