“Look, LORD, and see to whom you have done thus! Should the women eat their offspring, the children that they held and bounced on their knees? Should the priest and the prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?

| انْظُرْ يَارَبُّ وَتَأَمَّلْ! بِمَنْ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ أَعَلَى النِّسَاءِ أَنْ يَأْكُلْنَ ثَمَرَةَ بُطُونِهِنَّ، وَأَطْفَالَ حَضَانَتِهِنَّ؟ أَيَتَحَتَّمُ عَلَى الْكَاهِنِ وَالنَّبِيِّ أَنْ يُقْتَلاَ فِي مَقْدِسِ الرَّبِّ؟ |

দেখ, হে সদাপ্রভু, বিবেচনা কর তুমি কার প্রতি এমন ব্যবহার করছে? নারীরা কি তার ছেলেমেয়েদেরকে খাবে, যাদেরকে তারা যত্ন করেছে? প্রভুর পবিত্র জায়গায় কি যাজক ও ভাববাদী মারা যাবে?
“হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি দেখো ও বিবেচনা করো: তুমি এমন আচরণ আগে কার সঙ্গে করেছ? যে নারীরা তাদের ছেলেমেয়েদের জন্ম দিয়েছে, তাদের সন্তানদের প্রতিপালন করেছে, তারা কি তাদের মাংস খাবে? প্রভুর ধর্মধামের ভিতরে কি যাজক ও ভাববাদীদের হত্যা করা হবে?

Vois, Éternel, regarde qui tu as ainsi traité! Fallait-il que des femmes dévorassent le fruit de leurs entrailles, Les petits enfants objets de leur tendresse? Que sacrificateurs et prophètes fussent massacrés dans le sanctuaire du Seigneur?

Vois, Éternel, et regarde! Qui est-ce que tu as ainsi traité? Faut-il que des femmes dévorent leur fruit, les enfants portés entre leurs bras? Faut-il que dans le Sanctuaire du Seigneur le sacrificateur et le prophète soient égorgés?

Herre, skåda dock; och se till hvem du så förderfvat hafver. Skola nu qvinnorna äta sin lifsfrukt, de yngsta barnen, som näppliga en spann lång äro? Skola Propheterna och Presterna uti Herrans helgedom så dräpne varda?

Tingnan mo, Oh Panginoon, at masdan mo, kung kanino mo ginawa ang ganito! Kakanin baga ng mga babae ang kanilang ipinanganak, ang mga anak na kinakalong sa mga kamay? Papatayin baga ang saserdote at ang propeta sa santuario ng Panginoon?
Tingnan mo, Yahweh, at tingnan mo ng mabuti ang mga pinakitunguhan mo ng napakatindi. Kinakailangan bang kainin ng mga kababaihan ang kanilang sariling bunga, ang mga anak na kanilang inalagaan? Kinakailangan bang patayin ang pari at propeta sa santuwaryo ng Panginoon?

Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin đoái xem! Ngài đã hề đãi ai như thế? Đàn bà há ăn trái ruột mình, tức con cái ẵm trong tay ư? Thầy tế lễ cùng tiên tri, há nên giết trong nơi thánh Chúa ư?

“Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin Ngài đoái xem! Chẳng lẽ Chúa đối xử với dân Chúa như vậy sao? Lẽ nào mẹ phải ăn thịt con cái mình, là những đứa con đang nâng niu trong lòng? Có phải các thầy tế lễ và các tiên tri phải bị giết trong Đền Thánh của Chúa chăng?
“Wò ó, Olúwa, kí o sì rò ó. Ta ni ìwọ ti fìyà jẹ bí èyí. Ǹjẹ́ àwọn obìnrin yóò ha jẹ ọmọ wọn, àwọn ọmọ tí wọn ń ṣe ìtọ́jú fún? Ǹjẹ́ kí a pa olórí àlùfáà àti àwọn wòlíì ní ibi mímọ́ Olúwa?
